  Benton products are generally gentle and effective. This one is also mild and nicely hydrating.

  Cons

  There's not much to criticize. If I had to nitpick, it might be slightly less moisturizing in winter. I mix it with oil for added hydration.

  Gentle on the skin! Absorbs well. I was looking for a silicone-free and oil-free cream when I chose this Benton product. I have bumpy skin, and lavender oil seemed to make it worse before. But this cacao cream is incredibly mild with great hydration. It's light enough for summer but might be too light for winter. It doesn't feel rich at all.

  Cons

  I prefer a lightweight eye cream, so this might not work for those wanting a richer texture. For winter, it would be better to use with an oil.

  Tip

  It seems to work best when applied generously.

  This is my honest review after purchasing with my own money. I'm a huge fan of Benton. I discovered them while searching for products with good ingredients, before they started advertising. I've tried their Deep Green Tea Toner, Cacao Serum, Snail Bee Essence, Tea Tree Cleansing Water, and more. Among all these, the one I use most frequently is the Cacao Cream. It's gentle, has great soothing effects, and is just easy to use for any purpose. Plus, it's fragrance-free. I once had a sudden severe outbreak of pustular blemishes, and that's when I discovered this cream. I've been using it consistently since then, and thanks to that, my skin has improved significantly. My blemishes have reduced, and my skin has become less sensitive.

  Cons

  I wish they would offer a larger size. For consistent users like me, we end up buying it too frequently. Isn't that a waste of plastic packaging? Also, it can feel a bit dry in winter. I'd love to see them release another cream with more hydration and better skin barrier protection than this one. That's why in winter, I switch from this cream to Real Barrier Extreme Cream.

  Tip

  For those dealing with blemishes, try using just these two products: the Deep Green Tea Toner and this cream. They're soothing and can really improve your skin.

  I bought this along with the essence during an 80% off sale. Benton seems to have a lot of sales lately. When I first applied it, the absorption was fantastic. It felt pillowy soft and gentle on the skin. It's a hydrating and mild product with no irritation.

  Cons

  Although it seems to have some richness, my skin feels dry again pretty quickly as time passes.

  Tip

  Since it's not particularly hydrating after a while, I make sure to layer a treatment cream or facial oil on top.

  I tried a free sample from Benton's official website. The ingredients are incredibly simple and it's oil-free, which I really liked, so I decided to test it out. First off, I didn't feel any irritation. Even with just a small amount, it felt very hydrating! Since it doesn't have many ingredients, it might be good for those with sensitive skin to consider. I'd recommend this more for those with dry or normal skin rather than oily skin. The photos show my hand before and immediately after application.

  Cons

  Personally, I'm not a fan of products that leave a rich or sticky feeling on my face, so this product was a bit disappointing for me. Even though it's oil-free, maybe because of the cocoa seed butter, it leaves a lingering sticky sensation after application. Because of this, my hair kept sticking to my face.

  As someone with super sensitive skin, I rarely wear makeup. This eye cream keeps my skin hydrated all day long. When applying, it feels like it becomes even more moisturizing as you massage it in. It spreads easily and absorbs well! You can really feel how gentle it is on the skin.

  The quantity... The quantity is just too little. I wish they could increase the amount for the same price.
