It's like finding an oasis in the desert! I had such a hard time finding the right moisturizer that I was only using soothing gels, avoiding creams altogether. But after trying this one, I finally understood what proper hydration feels like. The moisturizing power is excellent! If you use the right amount, I think you could go through all four seasons without dry skin. I also really appreciated that it's fragrance-free and non-irritating, and the creamy butter texture absorbs without feeling sticky. There's nothing to dislike about the product itself, but I'm so upset I need to vent here. After trying countless creams on the market, I finally found this precious one, only to learn it's being discontinued. It's heartbreaking! I even tried to recreate it, first by asking cosmetics workshops (and getting rejected), then by buying ingredients and tools and studying formulations on my own. But it's just impossible to replicate exactly. Now I'm back to square one, having to search for a suitable cream again. I'm so devastated! I really wish they would bring it back on the market. This cream has been a savior for my angry skin. My complexion is a nightmare - oily and full of sebum, yet dehydrated underneath, with dead skin cells having a party and blemishes joining in. Plus, there are so many ingredients that don't agree with me. While I'm under dermatological care, using the wrong product can undo all progress or make things worse. But with consistent use of this cream, almost everything has calmed down and my skin is becoming more... well, human-like. The hydration isn't as intense as you might expect, but that works for me. I can't use rich creams, and gel creams don't cut it either. So this product is actually perfect for my needs. Dry skin types might find it lacking though, so they may need to pair it with other products. The best part? The cooling effect. I'm not sure if it's the cocoa ingredients, but when I apply it after cleansing, it feels like it's soothing away the heat in my skin. It's not a harsh cooling like menthol - just a moment of refreshing coolness. As someone with naturally warm skin, I find this fascinating. The hydration isn't as impressive as I had hoped. The absorbs well is just average. My holy grail combo: Sidmool Milk Cleansing + Cacao Cream. That's it for me. To repair your skin barrier, avoid exfoliating. After cleansing, which naturally removes some dead skin cells, focus on consistently applying cream to 'press down' the remaining cells. If you have a toner that works for you, applying that before the cream could be even better. I skipped toner as I couldn't find one that suited me, but I'm planning to try Leejiham Tea Tree 90 Essence next.

It has a moisturizing texture like a hydrating cream, applies smoothly, and doesn't feel greasy at all. After it absorbs, your skin feels incredibly soft. It's the most satisfying product among Benton's lineup. While I'm satisfied as someone with oily skin, it might not provide enough hydration for those with dry skin.
