I'm rewriting this because it disappeared. <About My Skin> I used to be known for having beautiful skin. But due to stress, I ended up stressing about my skin for over half a year. After that, I became a super sensitive skin type. It was a truly terrible time, but thanks to my skin responding well to Centella (gotu kola), my skin barrier strengthened, and now I only have slight scarring left. However, I still have sensitive skin that's combination-dehydrated in summer and dry in winter - not as bad as before, but still quite delicate. <About the Product> It has a thin consistency, so a small amount spreads easily over a wide area. The size is the same as my L'Occitane rose hand cream. It's smaller than I expected - I thought it was a hand cream at first. As a fragrance-free product, it has that typical natural cosmetics scent, but it's very faint. Maybe only noticeable to someone with a sensitive nose like me. It feels slightly oily and gives the impression of creating a protective layer on the skin.
ConsPerhaps because of this, it couldn't quite address deep dryness. So I applied another moisturizer and then used this on top as a sealing layer. However... it seems it didn't agree with my sensitive skin. Sadly, small, red, millet-like blemishes started appearing just minutes after application. And under my eyes, no less! I'm amazed at how quickly it reacted. I had no choice but to wash it off immediately, then apply my usual skincare products and my beloved Centella ointment. By the next day, my skin had recovered.
TipI ended up giving it to my mother. Given its cute size (like a hand cream) and its intense hydration and richness, it could probably work well as a hand cream too. Also, I've learned that when writing reviews, I should always copy and save them in a notepad. All my effort and sincerity disappeared while I was editing photos for a moment.

But as I entered my mid-20s, my skin gradually became dehydrated with less oil, moving towards combination dehydrated skin...ugh. This fall, my skin suddenly became sensitive, itchy, and prone to redness. Texture: Uniquely in a tube, it felt slightly firm at first squeeze. However, when applied, it melts and transforms almost water-like, absorbing into the skin with a hydrating feel! Scent: Almost none. No artificial smell at all. It has a very faint cocoa and shea butter scent, reminiscent of a natural cocoa butter lip balm from a US brand (can't recall which). Application & Hydration: Applies very thinly, smoothly, and with a moisturizing feel. It absorbs well, instantly making your skin feel hydrated to its core. Super gentle with no irritation. The hydration feels sufficient right after application, but the surface feels a bit dry after a couple of hours. Before bed, I need to layer another cream on top as this alone leaves my skin feeling tight by morning. It might not be moisturizing enough for dry or normal skin types, and even combination dehydrated skin might need extra hydration around the mouth and cheeks. It's sufficient for morning skincare. Week 1 Review: As mentioned, my skin was very dry and sensitive, so I had been changing my skincare routine. I was worried when I unexpectedly won the tester opportunity, but it turned out to be a gentle cream that works well even for sensitive skin. The application is fantastic, and the moisturizing feel is pleasant. It leaves a slightly elastic feeling after application. I'm more satisfied using it as a base before makeup in the morning rather than for night care. It absorbs quickly, preventing any pilling! Morning routine: Cleanse - 3 layers of toner - Benton Cocoa Cream - Sunscreen - Foundation. Using moisturizing products with good absorption for sunscreen and foundation, this routine is sufficient for my oily-leaning skin. I apply the cream twice on my mouth area and cheeks. Evening routine: Cleanse - 3 layers of toner - Benton Cocoa Cream - Avène Cicalfate (mouth and cheeks) - Rich moisturizing cream (all over, varies). Without a thick layer at night, my skin feels tight in the morning. Week 2: Using it diligently every day, I've already used about half the tube. No significant changes compared to week 1, but I've noticed a couple of things: 1. When my sensitive skin feels irritated and tingly after applying toner, this cream seems to calm it down. 2. It feels moisturizing right after application, but over time, it develops a slightly sticky, rich feel. It doesn't bother me in this season, but oily skin types might find it a bit uncomfortable in summer.
ConsThe volume is a bit small for daily generous use! I tend to apply liberally, and I've used about 1/3 in just a week. Also, it's a bit dry for the current season. The initial hydration is good, but it doesn't last long, leaving my skin feeling tight soon after!
TipIt works well as a finishing touch for morning skincare, and in the evening, it's great for adding hydration before applying richer products - perfect for this season!
