If you pat it in well, it absorbs effectively, making your skin feel firmer. It's a great option for daily use without any fuss.
ConsThe fragrance-free formula can make application feel a bit bland, haha!

The feel on the skin is clean and fresh.
ConsWhile it's a cream formula, its moisturizing power felt more like an emulsion. I appreciate the non-greasy, clean finish, but it lacks that deep hydration and nourishing feel. There are tiny particles in it, but they seem to disappear when applied. Despite being called a cocoa cream, it's surprisingly fragrance-free and odorless - quite different from what I expected!

It doesn't leave a sticky residue, but instead leaves your skin feeling slightly moisturized as it absorbs well. It doesn't feel oily at all... I can't seem to find a similar product. I didn't have high expectations for this, but I ended up repurchasing it.
ConsFirst, the price is a bit disappointing. Considering the volume (50g), paying full price can be a bit burdensome. It seems to be more affordable during promotional events. Second, the scent might be hit or miss! I use it because I like the product, but the fragrance is hard to describe. The best I can say is that it's a faint coconut scent without any added fragrances. It's not an overpowering scent, and it's barely noticeable once absorbed.
TipPurchased during a sale event! I consider it a gentle moisturizer.

It's incredibly hydrating and versatile, making it perfect for daily use! Applying it before makeup leaves your skin feeling wonderfully moisturized.
ConsWhile it's generally fine, the hydration doesn't seem to last very long, unfortunately. It feels like my skin is dry underneath with just a slightly moist surface. Also, some people say it's fragrance-free, but there's a distinct scent to it. Those with super sensitive skin might want to be cautious!

Absorption: It's not a moisturizer that disappears instantly. It gives a glow to the face while slowly absorbing. No sticky or heavy feeling. Hydration: After cleansing at night, I applied toner and this cream, and my skin stayed moisturized until morning. Skin Type: I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry U-zone. However, this product has a perfect oil and moisture balance, so when applied, it doesn't feel too dry or greasy - it just feels like it hits the right balance. The tube packaging is hygienic and convenient. The size is smaller than expected. It might last about a month. A hydrating cream.
ConsNo blemishes appeared! As expected from a product with zero harmful ingredients. However, for those with very oily skin, the glow this product gives might feel a bit much. The scent... how to describe it... It's not unscented, but it has that smell that makes you realize 'ah, this is what happens when they don't add fragrance to cosmetics'.
TipApplying it twice might keep even dry areas moisturized. With tube packaging, when it's hard to get the product out, you can cut it open and scrape out every last bit for economical use! I plan to do this when I'm almost done with it.

I thought it would be heavy, but when applied, it melts and spreads smoothly. Usage method: Used only Benton cream after the 7-skin method for 2 weeks It's more hydrating and smoother to apply than I expected, with no irritation. There's a slight scent, but it dissipates quickly and isn't bothersome. It spreads thinly, but absorption isn't immediate and takes some time. After absorption, I noticed a slight richness remaining on my skin.
Cons1. Scent: While it doesn't linger long, personally, I didn't care for the distinctive cocoa scent. 2. Oil content: Although it's a cream for all skin types, it can feel a bit rich on oily skin. If you have very oily skin, it might feel too rich, so it's best to use small amounts. It might be better to avoid using it in summer.
TipIt feels like it forms a protective layer when applied in small amounts after using hydrating products, preventing moisture loss. The key is to squeeze out just a pea-sized amount and spread it thinly, rather than applying too much!

First off, I loved how incredibly hydrating it was. My skin has been so dry lately, and I've been really worried about it. But when I apply this before my cream, it provides excellent moisture. I didn't just use it on my face, but on my body too. My skin has been so dry that it felt rough and not smooth at all. But after applying this and waking up the next day, I was amazed to find my skin feeling soft and smooth, with no trace of that roughness. I'll definitely be repurchasing this!
ConsWhen I spread it on, the scent was a bit... how should I say it? Slightly fishy? That smell was a bit off-putting. Apart from the fragrance, I was completely satisfied with this product!

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThis is a review from The Hwahae Testers. The main advantage seems to be the quality ingredients. Perhaps because of this, I didn't experience any blemishes. It applies smoothly like a true moisturizer, without feeling heavy or suffocating on the skin.
ConsWhile I don't have extremely dry skin, I felt it absorbed too quickly and lightly to provide adequate hydration for the fall and winter months. The cocoa and hyaluronic acid ingredients are great, but I think it would have been even better with skin-identical ingredients like ceramides. Also, the packaging felt a bit flimsy, with the lid not closing tightly. I still have quite a bit left, so I plan to use it as a light hand cream. Oh, and despite containing cocoa, there's absolutely no scent at all, which was disappointing as I had expected a nice fragrance.
TipThis might be more suitable for use during the summer months!

The review is completely unbiased and honest, with no guidelines or restrictions. Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThis is a review from The Hwahae Testers! Skin Type: My skin is extremely dry. I didn't have sensitive skin or acne even during puberty, but after becoming an adult, I started getting small blemishes on my forehead. Recently, I've been experiencing redness, small bumps, and enlarged pores on my cheeks, so I'm very careful about checking ingredients and potential irritants when choosing skincare products. Although I have dry skin, I don't like sticky or heavy emulsions or creams, so I used to keep my skincare routine minimal with very little oil. When I went to the dermatologist, they said my oil and moisture balance was off, and the lack of oil was causing blemishes and enlarged pores as my skin tried to produce more oil internally. My skin has also become more sensitive, so I look for gentle, slightly acidic products. Product Description and Benefits: When I first applied for The Hwahae Testers, the product description said it helps with various skin concerns (dryness and tightness, need for oil-moisture balance, gentle hydration, sensitivity, non-sticky hydration, and nourishment). I fit all six categories, so I was curious if it would really address all these issues. 1. Ingredients The ingredients are really gentle and good. There's no added fragrance, which made me feel more confident using it. The cream is also slightly acidic, so it feels non-irritating on the skin. 2. Application and Absorption When first squeezed out, it looks more like a rich cream than a water cream, but once applied, it creates a watery feeling and absorbs well! It was surprising, but as described, it really gives a hydrated glow and absorbs naturally without any stickiness at all! This was my favorite aspect. As I mentioned before, I really dislike heavy or sticky feelings, so I loved that I could apply this without worrying. It absorbs well even when layered. I usually squeeze out an appropriate amount and massage it in with circular motions, then pat it to help absorption. 3. After-feel At first, I was worried it might dry out due to the high moisture content, but that wasn't the case at all. After application, the moisture absorbs and leaves an oil barrier. I'd say the ratio is about 7:3 or 8:2 moisture to oil. This helps balance the skin's oil and moisture levels. If you feel you need more oil or hydration in certain areas, you can apply a bit more there. The product instructions recommend applying an appropriate amount first and then adding more where needed, which makes sense after using it. I don't like products that are too rich, and if you apply too much of this, it can feel less absorbed and leave more of an oily finish, so I recommend starting with a moderate amount and adding more where needed. 4. Personally, I think this would be suitable for all skin types.
Cons1. Scent It's labeled as unscented, but I could detect a slight characteristic scent. It's not pleasant. You can bear with it since it's just briefly on your face, but on days when I wasn't feeling well, this aspect was particularly disappointing. 2. Volume At 50ml, it probably won't last very long. I estimate it will run out after a little over a month of use. 3. Some other reviews mentioned it being too oily, but I think that's due to using too much product. I realized this product could have drawbacks depending on how much you use. However, if you don't apply too much and use just the right amount, it's fine! 4. While I love that it's not sticky, as someone with very dry skin, I found it a bit drying. It would probably be perfect in summer, but it was a bit dry for winter use.
TipOverall, I was satisfied in all aspects, but since it felt a bit drying after application, I sprayed mist twice after applying! This gave me exactly the right balance of oil and moisture for the dewy skin I wanted. Dry skin types might want to try this method. Also, rather than using too many other skincare products (which can feel heavy), this cream can cover most bases. Usage Method: (Morning) 1. I first wipe with Thayers Witch Hazel Toner following my skin's texture, then soak a cotton pad and gently pat it into my skin. 2. I apply a light, gentle emulsion and pat it in, then apply a smaller amount of the Cacao Cream evenly. 3. Spray mist a couple of times for extra hydration before starting makeup. (Evening) 1. Same as morning 2. Apply an appropriate amount of Cacao Cream, massaging and patting it in. After a while, apply a bit more to areas that need it, or apply two thin layers all over. 3. Spray mist a couple of times and wait for it to absorb naturally. 4. Apply cica cream only on blemish-prone areas.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsHere's a review from one of The Hwahae Testers! My skin type is almost perfectly balanced, with a bit of oil appearing in the afternoon that easily wipes away. My skin doesn't feel tight even if I don't apply anything after cleansing. I usually pat cream products into my skin to reduce puffiness and aid absorption. 1. Highly recommended for men! With a perfect balance of hydration and richness (75% hydration : 25% oil), and quick absorption, it's ideal for men to apply after washing. In winter, just add an extra layer of cream. 2. The gentle ingredients are noticeable. My skin feels comfortable and soothed. 3. It absorbs exceptionally well. I used to use Physiogel emulsion and cream, which took about a minute to absorb. With this, there's no time for patting - the hydration is instantly absorbed, and the rich texture settles into the skin, creating a soft, protective layer rather than a slippery feel. 4. Unlike others, I don't find the hydration overwhelming, just appropriate. Around early fall, even someone like me who enjoys layering skincare would be satisfied with just cleanser-toner-Benton cream. While it's not super hydrating, its strength lies in the perfect balance of hydration and richness. 5. Personal opinion: Though it's a new brand to me, I like it. The brand introduction included with the delivery reassured me about the ingredients. Summary: Excellent for men, absorbs well, suitable for all seasons!
ConsThe scent initially put me off. I'm not usually sensitive to fragrances, but there was a strong smell - not quite alcohol, but like an unrefined chemical. It's only noticeable during application, so I didn't mind too much. (Also, personally, I prefer products that feel like they're deeply penetrating the skin when I'm applying them. This one feels more like it's creating a soft layer on the skin, so I didn't use it daily. I mainly used it when I was feeling lazy at the end of my skincare routine.)
TipIf you're like me and prefer deep hydration, this alone might not be enough. I get an all-day glow when I use the 7-skin method, apply hydrating gel twice, then Benton cream, and finish with sunscreen in the morning. This would make a great gift for male family members in autumn/spring, or for those who find skincare routines tedious! Its strengths are its absorption and balanced formula. I'm planning to take just this and a toner on my upcoming Hong Kong trip, as the weather will be warmer.
