Many moisturizing creams only make your skin feel greasy right after application, but I was surprised to find that after using this mask at night, my skin remained soft until I removed my makeup the next day after going out. I feel like it might have calmed my milia, but I'll need to use it more to see if they completely disappear. Interestingly, I felt its skin protection effect was even better than a cica cream.
ConsThe texture is quite surprising... At first, I thought I had mistakenly bought a brightening moisturizer or sunscreen. I've heard that zinc is an ingredient used in baby powder, which might explain why it makes the skin feel powdery when applied. For a cream, it's quite drying. Oddly enough, it still feels rich, so applying a little leaves my skin dry, while applying too much makes me worry it might clog my pores and cause blemishes. Also, if you're going to wash it all off with a cleansing foam after masking, it feels a bit wasteful and I don't quite understand the point. (I only tried it once as a mask, but it did seem effective).
Tip+Update I switched to an emulsion with stronger hydration this time, and I found that layering skincare products (toner once > thin layer of emulsion > thin layer of cream) seems more effective in improving deep dryness and milia than applying cream directly after multiple layers of toner. I think it's best to adjust the types and amounts of basic skincare products you use together, according to your own oil and moisture balance.

I don't use it as a cream, but as a mask, and it's really effective in reducing the size and number of small blemishes. It absorbs well for this purpose.
ConsWhile it's perfect as a mask, it might be too heavy and rich if used as a regular cream.
TipFor those with combination dehydrated skin, it may be better suited as an occasional treatment rather than a daily moisturizer.

I heard it's like a budget-friendly version of Avène Cicalfate. It's a cream that forms a protective barrier and shields against external irritants... but I'm wondering how it's different from a mineral sunscreen? It's a bit puzzling, to be honest. Still, it's a safe bet and works well when applied to blemishes.
ConsIt's quite rich, but strangely, it becomes increasingly drying over time. Portion control is crucial - if you apply too much, it just feels greasy and pills. The jar packaging isn't great for hygiene, so a tube would be better for using small amounts.
TipAfter using it for a month, I found it works best as a wash-off mask. Apply a thick layer, leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes, then cleanse with your regular product. Alternatively, using a tiny amount is a pro tip. If you have dry skin, apply it thinly over a solid skincare base, like you're adding a final protective layer. However, since there's a high chance of deep dryness, I'd recommend just using it as a wash-off mask.

Being fragrance-free, I can use it without any concerns.
ConsIt doesn't seem to have any specific blemish-soothing or hydration functions. After a short while, my cheeks feel tight, and it leaves a noticeable white cast, so you need to be careful with the amount applied. It's quite rich, to the point where if you touch your cheeks after application, you can feel the oiliness on your fingers. Not recommended for those with oily skin.
TipI've been using this product lately as a wash-off mask, applying it thickly and then rinsing it off. When I use it as a mask and then apply a moisturizer on top, my skin feels soft yet hydrated, which makes my makeup go on beautifully the next day.

I'm the type who doesn't usually respond well to madecassoside or cica products, so I thought I'd try something different. And wow, it's great! Due to my skin type, I tend to break out easily if I apply anything too thick, even with basic skincare products. So I applied this thinly! Whether I put it on before going out with a bare face or before bed, after a few hours my skin feels slightly moisturized and oily, but the redness completely subsides! The bumpy areas also calm down a bit. While scars and marks are still visible, for blemish improvement, this is by far the best product I've ever used! As for brightening, since the cream itself is white, it seems to have that effect. But as I mentioned, I don't apply it thickly, so it's not very noticeable and feels more transparent. The texture is nice and soft, and it feels light and fluffy when applied.
ConsUgh, if you apply this too thickly, it causes a lot of blemishes... The website clearly said it's good to apply it thickly like a pack when your skin is acting up, but it didn't really work. My face just got oily, and the cream came off in clumps like noodles. If you have oily, blemish-prone skin, you should definitely apply it thinly! Also, there's this issue with it clumping around blemishes. Even though I usually apply it thinly, I sometimes noticed white buildup stuck around troubled areas. Those who use it for going out should definitely keep this in mind. And it doesn't seem to have much effect on improving the skin barrier! It's like... it calms existing blemishes, but doesn't prevent new ones from appearing. You'd need to combine it with lots of sleep during vacation and other blemish-specific skincare products to see a bit more improvement. Using this alone, there's almost no improvement in the skin barrier.
TipApply it thinly! Always apply it thinly! The thicker it is, the less it absorbs into the skin, and as many reviewers have noted, it becomes greasy. I was shocked when I tried using it like a pack. What a waste of my precious cream! Despite being a product for blemish improvement, it comes in a jar without even a spatula, so you need to be careful about hygiene. When you use your fingers, you can see dust and various impurities getting in. It's especially noticeable because the cream is white, which is heartbreaking. Those who are prone to blemishes due to hygiene issues, please take note!

The Hwahae Testers really work hard on blemish-prone areas. Just apply a thick layer before bed, and by morning, you'll notice a significant improvement. + As someone with super sensitive skin, I find this product suits me well! + While the container is tiny, you only need a small amount. It's enough to cover your entire face, making it incredibly cost-effective for the amount you get. This is truly a born-to-be soothing cream. It may not have other major benefits, but it excels at calming the skin.
Cons+ It feels a bit rich, so those with oily skin might want to test it first (though I usually break out from oily products, this one was fine for me!). + You really need to use just a tiny amount, as it can easily pill. + It doesn't come with a built-in spatula. + While it's great for soothing, it seems less effective for improving the skin barrier. Blemishes still appear as usual, but this helps calm existing ones quickly.
Tip+ Applying a thick layer on troubled areas before sleeping significantly reduces inflammation (however, it's not very effective on small bumps, unfortunately!)

After applying it on my acne before bed for a few nights in a row, I noticed gradual calming. I usually have severe redness, but the morning after using this, my complexion looks much more even, which I love. I haven't used it for long, and while it hasn't completely eliminated my blemishes, the visible improvement in calming my skin is incredibly satisfying. Considering it's a cream you only need to use in small amounts, the quantity is quite generous. After using it longer, I'm adding more: My face had been noticeably red for years! But that redness has completely subsided. While it hasn't improved minor issues like dead skin cells, sebum, or small bumps, the fact that my once-red face is now a natural skin tone makes my complexion look so much better. I can go out bare-faced (despite still having visible pores, sebum, and flakiness) without anyone commenting on my skin. Before, even strangers would ask if I'd applied something wrong. For calming redness, I absolutely recommend this. It truly eliminates all signs of redness.
ConsAs mentioned in the official product description, if you don't control the amount well, it will pill - and it's absolutely true! You really need to apply just a tiny bit. That's why I only use it for night care and not in the morning. If you apply even slightly too much, it pills up and turns white. Also, it feels rich on the skin. Even with a small amount, it can feel oily. (I have combination dehydrated skin with large pores, excess sebum, blemishes, dead skin cells, and deep dryness, and it's summer, so that might contribute to the oily feeling.)
TipAs stated on the website, if you use small amounts, it's definitely effective. For blemishes, try applying it with a cotton swab before bed - it really helps calm them down!
