Perfect as a cool-toned lip base 2. True to its matte tint nature, it finishes with a velvety feel 3. Excellent formula for smudging 4. Superior adherence to lips
Cons1. Slight transfer issues 2. Leaves a paint-like scent 3. Color looks best on flawless skin
TipBest used as a base layer. Make sure to completely remove dead skin cells from your lips for a beautiful application!

It's one of those classic MLBB shades - muted, low-saturation, and cool-toned, perfect for cool and muted skin tones. Even warm-toned folks who suit cooler colors might enjoy this. Pros: 1. Versatile - works well on its own (especially for cool tones) or as a base. When used as a base, it pairs beautifully with pink-toned highlighters. 2. Affordable. Keep an eye out for Lalabla's occasional 1+1 deals with other shades! 3. The neutral shade makes it incredibly wearable. While all lip colors are pretty, some get more use than others. This one's been a real workhorse in my collection. Even with less makeup wear due to masks, I'm still using it up quickly. 4. Applies smoothly without patchiness.
Cons1. The slight chemical scent is a bit disappointing. 2. It tends to accentuate dead skin cells on the lips. 3. The cool tone is extremely pronounced - even for my cool-toned skin, it feels overly cool. 4. There's a noticeable white cast (though this may vary person to person).

Thanks to it, I was able to take my graduation picture with lips that weren't too bold but still looked lively! I also found myself reaching for it often as a base color. And the staying power is amazing - it doesn't come off even after eating! Love it~!
ConsThe scent wasn't my style, it had a strong typical cosmetic smell. However, since I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, I'm still considering repurchasing. If you're sensitive to scents, you might want to think twice about this one.
TipThe first photo shows the product. The second photo shows the color swatch in natural light. The third photo shows the color swatch without direct sunlight.

The color adds a nice touch of vitality, and it stains the lips well.
ConsIt's difficult to control the amount coming out of the tube opening. The scent is really off-putting! I'm not usually sensitive to smells, but since this goes on your lips, you end up tasting it, which feels unpleasant. It has a chemical odor.
TipIt's great for adding a bit of life to your complexion when you're not wearing makeup!

When first applied, it seems like a muted, darker tone, but as it dries, it transforms into a brighter shade. It's perfect for cool-toned MLBB (My Lips But Better) looks! The shade is quite unique - I wish other brands would come out with something similar. However, there are a few downsides...
Cons1. It really emphasizes dead skin cells... I have extremely dry skin and lips, so the way it accentuates flakiness is no joke. 2. The fragrance is... way too artificial. It smells like a cheap perfume. I'm trying to tolerate it while applying, but it's tough!
TipFrom left to right: 1. MAC Ruby Woo 2. BBIA Oops Oops Tint 3. Bourjois So Happy Pink 4. Bourjois Nudist

It has a low-saturation grayish tone that looks natural even on a makeup-free face. (I usually find makeup bothersome and just use lipstick for a pop of color, but this product is so natural it almost looks like I'm not wearing anything... which ends up making me want to add some eye makeup.) True to its 'velvet' name, it glides on smoothly. The color payoff is decent, and it doesn't feel sticky at all. It's more semi-matte than glowy.
ConsIt's a champion at highlighting dead skin cells! Despite being 'velvet', it becomes dry over time. The staying power is weak. Those who dislike lip stains might appreciate this, but it's disappointing that it doesn't last on the lower lip after drinking coffee or eating. (Can you see in the photo how it easily wipes off with a tissue, even when it's a bit dry after some time?) The scent and taste are awful. The fragrance smells like a mix of chemicals and every strong scent imaginable. I wish they had left out the fragrance altogether... And the taste that sometimes comes through when applying is even worse.
TipBuy this when you're curious to try a lip color that matches your skin tone! And when it's on sale!!!!

It might be a bit mature for younger users and could potentially age you, but for women in their 20s, it could give off a sophisticated effect (think mature + intellectual aura). Personally, I was thrilled it didn't make me look washed out, and I snagged it because it's a unique shade you don't often see in drugstore brands. It's perfect for fall and winter seasons! The lipstick absorbs smoothly and has great color payoff. However, the scent and price are... well...
ConsThere's been a lot of talk about the fragrance. It's like a mix of caramel (similar to a certain candy brand) with a floral rose scent, combined with that typical cosmetic smell. If you're sensitive to fragrances, I'd recommend testing it in person before purchasing. (Do consider the scent and price...)
TipI got a lot of compliments on what I was wearing when I paired it with an olive green bomber jacket or t-shirt!

The color is truly beautiful. Looking at the original shade, I thought it might be too warm, and with a name like 'Nude', I was a bit scared. But when I applied it, it was so pretty... The texture feels incredibly luxurious... It's powdery and has a fine-particle mousse-like feel. These days, even drugstore brands have many intensely matte, long-lasting lipsticks that are hard to remove, but while they may boast great staying power, I'm not a fan of their finish... If you prefer a powdery feel, I highly recommend this. My lips have a natural pink tint, so rather than appearing nude, it gives more of a reddish dried rose color. It definitely has a muted tone, confirming it's suitable for muted undertones.
ConsThe scent is extremely unpleasant. I'm usually fine with cheap candy or chocolate scents in lip products, but this has an incredibly artificial, chemical-like smell. Of course, it's okay once applied, and I've gotten used to it now.
TipExfoliation is a must. If you have dead skin cells, the color application can be patchy. In the photo, the left is 'So Happy Pink' and the right is 'Nudist'.
