It's my favorite lip product. It's perfect for those with light undertones. The shade is a natural-looking pink with a hint of gray that evens out my lip tone beautifully. As for how it absorbs, it goes on moisturizing at first, then settles into a matte finish. That's why it's best to blend it right after application for the best results.
ConsThe scent might be hit or miss for some, but it didn't bother me much. While it absorbs smoothly and feels soft initially, it becomes a bit sticky once it sets. You might feel your upper and lower lips sticking together slightly.
TipIn the second photo, the middle shade is 'Nudist'. It also works beautifully as a base lip color!

The dried rose color is my absolute favorite, and I adore how it has a semi-matte finish. The applicator tip is a bit short and small, but that actually made it easier to apply. I'm so in love with this product in many ways that it instantly became my holy grail!
ConsI was worried before buying because I heard so many complaints about the scent, and indeed, the smell wasn't great. However, since I was expecting the worst, it turned out to be more tolerable than I thought.

Color: The color is truly the epitome of a light undertone shade. It has a genuinely muted purple tint, but it's not overwhelming at all. It's absolutely perfect for those with light undertones. If you're into muted shades, you need to snatch this up! Texture: It has a velvety texture that blends beautifully. However, you need to work quickly on the gradient effect before it sets, as it's harder to blend after that. Longevity: Once it sets, it doesn't budge easily. After eating, it only fades from the inner part of the lips, leaving a nice outline. It's quite impressive! Staining: It doesn't actually stain your lips with color. Any 'staining' is just the product that hasn't completely worn off. As someone who prefers no staining, I'm quite satisfied with this.
ConsScent: If you're sensitive to fragrances, the scent might be a bit bothersome. However, I personally found it fine. Price: It feels a bit on the pricier side. Also, as someone with a deep winter tone, the color seemed a bit washed out on me. It felt slightly lacking. It's fine for a bare-faced look, but when I'm wearing full makeup, it seems a bit insufficient. For winter cool tones, this lip product works great as a base. Try applying a darker purple lip color on top - it looks absolutely stunning!

It's truly a perfectly muted pink with a hint of gray! The color is so beautifully subdued. And I love how you can instantly see the color of the product from the case! If bold lips don't suit you, I highly recommend 'Nudist'.
ConsThe texture isn't the easiest to apply. It accentuates dead skin cells and doesn't spread well on the inner part of the lips. I felt the applicator that comes with the product wasn't quite sufficient. You know how we all need that one lip product that's easy to use...? This isn't that product! But the color is beautiful!
TipI apply it broadly with a brush first, then dab it again on the inner part of the lips.

I can pull off both light and deep undertones, but this one has a gorgeous gray-tinged rose hue that's especially flattering for lighter skin. The subtle blend of gray and pink is truly stunning. The application is incredibly smooth! The pigmentation is above average, though it doesn't go on as vibrant as the color in the tube. Instead, it creates a delicate, watercolor-like effect that's absolutely my style. The finish starts off moisturizing, but as it settles, it becomes very similar to the velvety, powdery finish of the Bourjois Rouge Velvet lipsticks. It dries down to a soft, velvety texture that I absolutely adore. I was honestly hesitant about trying Bourjois tints due to their reputation for strong scents, as I'm quite sensitive to fragrances. However, I took the plunge and found it wasn't as overwhelming as I feared. Of course, this can vary from person to person. But the color is truly beautiful - I have zero regrets!
ConsIt can slightly emphasize dead skin cells, and the longevity could be a bit better.

It has a low-saturation grayish tone that looks natural even on a makeup-free face. (I usually find makeup bothersome and just use lipstick for a pop of color, but this product is so natural it almost looks like I'm not wearing anything... which ends up making me want to add some eye makeup.) True to its 'velvet' name, it glides on smoothly. The color payoff is decent, and it doesn't feel sticky at all. It's more semi-matte than glowy.
ConsIt's a champion at highlighting dead skin cells! Despite being 'velvet', it becomes dry over time. The staying power is weak. Those who dislike lip stains might appreciate this, but it's disappointing that it doesn't last on the lower lip after drinking coffee or eating. (Can you see in the photo how it easily wipes off with a tissue, even when it's a bit dry after some time?) The scent and taste are awful. The fragrance smells like a mix of chemicals and every strong scent imaginable. I wish they had left out the fragrance altogether... And the taste that sometimes comes through when applying is even worse.
TipBuy this when you're curious to try a lip color that matches your skin tone! And when it's on sale!!!!

ConsScent: - Chemical or artificial soap-like fragrance - Those sensitive to scents should consider before purchasing Longevity: - Velvet formulas offer a light, powdery texture, but often lack in color retention and pigmentation - While better than Peripera's Airy Velvet in color density and staying power, 3CE still outperforms in the same formula category
TipRecommended for: - Summer and autumn muted skin tones - Those who've avoided MLBB shades due to dark lips not suiting them - Pairs well with semi-matte skin rather than dewy looks due to its velvet texture - Complements soft pink eye and cheek makeup better than smoky or deep tones - Beautiful on its own, but can create richer color when layered with other nude velvet lip products (e.g. 3CE New Nude)

The color is truly beautiful. Looking at the original shade, I thought it might be too warm, and with a name like 'Nude', I was a bit scared. But when I applied it, it was so pretty... The texture feels incredibly luxurious... It's powdery and has a fine-particle mousse-like feel. These days, even drugstore brands have many intensely matte, long-lasting lipsticks that are hard to remove, but while they may boast great staying power, I'm not a fan of their finish... If you prefer a powdery feel, I highly recommend this. My lips have a natural pink tint, so rather than appearing nude, it gives more of a reddish dried rose color. It definitely has a muted tone, confirming it's suitable for muted undertones.
ConsThe scent is extremely unpleasant. I'm usually fine with cheap candy or chocolate scents in lip products, but this has an incredibly artificial, chemical-like smell. Of course, it's okay once applied, and I've gotten used to it now.
TipExfoliation is a must. If you have dead skin cells, the color application can be patchy. In the photo, the left is 'So Happy Pink' and the right is 'Nudist'.
