Although it doesn't quite match my warm undertone, the color itself is lovely. Being a velvet formula, it applies smoothly and feels great on the lips!
ConsI'm a bit disappointed that the ingredients aren't as good as I had hoped. The staying power is also somewhat weak.

I can pull off both light and deep undertones, but this one has a gorgeous gray-tinged rose hue that's especially flattering for lighter skin. The subtle blend of gray and pink is truly stunning. The application is incredibly smooth! The pigmentation is above average, though it doesn't go on as vibrant as the color in the tube. Instead, it creates a delicate, watercolor-like effect that's absolutely my style. The finish starts off moisturizing, but as it settles, it becomes very similar to the velvety, powdery finish of the Bourjois Rouge Velvet lipsticks. It dries down to a soft, velvety texture that I absolutely adore. I was honestly hesitant about trying Bourjois tints due to their reputation for strong scents, as I'm quite sensitive to fragrances. However, I took the plunge and found it wasn't as overwhelming as I feared. Of course, this can vary from person to person. But the color is truly beautiful - I have zero regrets!
ConsIt can slightly emphasize dead skin cells, and the longevity could be a bit better.

I snagged it on sale for around $20. While I usually prefer completely matte finishes, this product is more of a semi-matte? True to its 'velvet' name, it has a soft, powdery finish that keeps your lips feeling hydrated.
ConsI was hoping for a slightly more muted pink, but on my lips, it seems to have a stronger pink tone than I expected, which was a bit disappointing. Compared to my usual S* matte lip product, it doesn't adhere as well and the staying power isn't quite as impressive. Despite that, I think it's great for everyday wear.
TipInstead of applying it all over with the applicator tip, try dabbing it in the center of your lips and blending outwards with your fingertip or a cotton swab. This creates a natural, your-lips-but-better look with a touch of vitality. It's perfect for days when you're rocking a bold eye look or just for everyday use!

It has a low-saturation grayish tone that looks natural even on a makeup-free face. (I usually find makeup bothersome and just use lipstick for a pop of color, but this product is so natural it almost looks like I'm not wearing anything... which ends up making me want to add some eye makeup.) True to its 'velvet' name, it glides on smoothly. The color payoff is decent, and it doesn't feel sticky at all. It's more semi-matte than glowy.
ConsIt's a champion at highlighting dead skin cells! Despite being 'velvet', it becomes dry over time. The staying power is weak. Those who dislike lip stains might appreciate this, but it's disappointing that it doesn't last on the lower lip after drinking coffee or eating. (Can you see in the photo how it easily wipes off with a tissue, even when it's a bit dry after some time?) The scent and taste are awful. The fragrance smells like a mix of chemicals and every strong scent imaginable. I wish they had left out the fragrance altogether... And the taste that sometimes comes through when applying is even worse.
TipBuy this when you're curious to try a lip color that matches your skin tone! And when it's on sale!!!!

ConsScent: - Chemical or artificial soap-like fragrance - Those sensitive to scents should consider before purchasing Longevity: - Velvet formulas offer a light, powdery texture, but often lack in color retention and pigmentation - While better than Peripera's Airy Velvet in color density and staying power, 3CE still outperforms in the same formula category
TipRecommended for: - Summer and autumn muted skin tones - Those who've avoided MLBB shades due to dark lips not suiting them - Pairs well with semi-matte skin rather than dewy looks due to its velvet texture - Complements soft pink eye and cheek makeup better than smoky or deep tones - Beautiful on its own, but can create richer color when layered with other nude velvet lip products (e.g. 3CE New Nude)

The color payoff is great for the price. A little goes a long way. The staying power is good, and the texture feels nice. The applicator shape makes it easy to apply. The scent isn't bad either. It has a pleasantly matte and velvety finish!
ConsWhen applied to the lips, the color is brighter than expected. It has a slightly fluorescent undertone. If you're expecting a truly muted dusty rose shade, you might be disappointed. As it has good staying power, it tends to stain quite a bit. It can be a bit drying, so you need to apply it based on your lip condition.
TipMake sure to exfoliate your lips and apply lip balm before using this product.
