  I bought the Scinic Skin Emulsion as a lightweight option for winter night care. I usually avoid heavy creams that leave a greasy residue, but I felt my skin needed extra hydration in winter. Compared to other creams, this one is light and barely leaves any oily feeling - it's almost unnoticeable. When I applied the emulsion and followed with a cream before bed, I definitely woke up to skin that felt more hydrated than when using the emulsion alone.

  Please make the size larger. It's so small that I use it up very quickly.

  As expected from a Scinic product, its gentleness and lack of oiliness are definite advantages. Because it's not greasy, it leaves my skin feeling pleasantly matte after application, which I really appreciate.

  Cons

  Although it's marketed as a moisturizing product, when I apply this cream over my hydrating layers, it doesn't feel like it's locking in moisture. Instead, it seems like the hydration is escaping. Unfortunately, if I try to layer it or apply a thicker amount, it feels heavy and leads to blemishes, which is quite disappointing.

  Tip

  I find it works even better when used with other products from the Scinic The Simple line! Also, when you need extra moisture, try mixing it with a more hydrating cream for better results.

It balances oil and moisture well without making the skin overly shiny.

  The 40ml size is perfect for carrying around. It's lightweight and doesn't feel heavy on the skin, with low oil content, making it a great option for summer use.

  Cons

  I absolutely wouldn't recommend this to those with dry skin. It dries out instantly, requiring multiple applications. Oddly, it seems to irritate my blemishes, so I've resorted to using it on my body instead of my face. It's disappointing, as The Simple skin toner and emulsion didn't cause this irritation.

  Tip

  If it doesn't suit your face, you can always use it as a hand cream. Its compact size and lightweight formula make it perfect to carry in your handbag.

  Pros

  The user experience is quite satisfactory. The tube packaging is convenient and hygienic. I found the richness to be just right, and the finish is perfect! It's not drying, yet not too oily - it's just right. I used to use Etude's Cica Balm, but I heard the formula changed, so I switched to this. I'm so pleased because I could feel my skin texture improving and blemishes calming down the very next day after using it. I've never experienced both texture improvement and blemish soothing before, so I was really impressed. I always manage my blemishes with separate ointments, and while I still use them, this cream definitely provides a synergistic effect - it's a miracle... The fragrance-free formula is also a plus. It feels a bit sticky right after application, but after a while, it settles to a perfectly hydrated finish, not quite matte but comfortably moisturized. I really hope they don't change the formula. I wish it stays on the market for a long time without any changes to its composition or being discontinued.

  Cons

  Since it's not very well-known, the offline accessibility is limited. It wasn't available at Olive Young, only this product. I bought it at LaLa Blah, but I wish it was also sold at Olive Young!
