  ❗️This is a product I used a long time ago, and I'm sharing the exact review I posted on my blog back then. + Clean ingredients: The Simple line has fewer ingredients overall and doesn't contain any harmful, controversial, or cautionary ingredients. So you can feel at ease using it! Just make sure to check if there are any ingredients that don't suit you personally. + Not too heavy: As someone with oily skin, I appreciate that it doesn't contain shea butter and isn't too rich. + Seems to balance oil and moisture...? Here's why I think so👇🏼 After applying, I felt a bit of deep dryness and thought I might need to apply more. It felt somewhat lacking. At night, after putting on hand cream and getting under the covers, I found myself wondering, 'Should I apply more or not?' I ended up not applying more because I was too lazy to wash the hand cream off my hands to reapply the moisturizer. I have oily skin and usually wake up with a lot of excess oil, but for a while, there was no oiliness on my face at all! Normally, when your skin feels dry, it produces more oil, right? But even though I felt dry before bed > I woke up without any excess oil This was so strange to me. I'm not sure if it's because the oil-moisture balance was achieved or if I just got lucky. 👆🏼That's what I thought back then...

  - Might not be enough for dry skin: You might need to mix it with an oil, especially during seasonal changes. As it gets colder, this alone won't be sufficient for winter. - Feels dry underneath: After evening cleansing and applying this before bed, I found myself wondering if I needed to put something else on my face. - Not ultra-hydrating: It doesn't provide that super moisturized feeling.

  The photo shows the truly empty container. I cut open the tube to use every last bit of the product.

  Pros

  I love how gentle it is. The scent isn't overpowering, and it absorbs beautifully. I've found that the emulsion from the same line is also great.

  Cons

  Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to help with deep dryness, and my skin feels like it dries out quickly.

  I noticed it works better when I layer it with the emulsion from the same line.

  Pros

  The tube design with a long opening makes it easy to control the amount and maintain hygiene, which is great. Its most significant advantage is probably how moisturizing and gentle it feels, making it worry-free to use. Although I've only used it for less than a week and can't give a definitive opinion yet, I can certainly feel it strengthening my skin barrier.

  Cons

  The quantity is slightly disappointing, but I suppose there's a reason for that. Another minor drawback is that it doesn't seem to address deep dryness effectively.

  Tip

  As someone with dry, blemish-prone skin that often feels oily on the surface but tight underneath, I've found that applying a gel-type hydrating cream first and then layering this on top like a coating leaves my skin feeling smooth in the morning, with dead skin cells and texture issues seemingly resolved.

  Pros

  When my skin was at its most sensitive and my usual CPI cream wasn't working, I turned to this. The clean ingredients were incredibly gentle, and the price was very reasonable. It felt more hydrating than oily.

  Cons

  This alone wasn't enough to combat deep dryness. It's hard to say whether it was this product or another one I was using at the time, but I had to stop using it when I developed blemishes.

  Wow, this product is absolutely amazing! It perfectly balances oil and moisture, doesn't leave a greasy feeling, absorbs well, and has great ingredients. It's got everything you need. This is the ideal product for combination dehydrated skin.

  Cons

  It might be a bit lacking for winter use. There's a slight dryness, and you can feel some deep dryness after application.

  Tip

  There's also an emulsion version of this, which I used a lot during summer. I think this one could work well for summer use too.

  Pros

  As someone with extremely oily skin, a weakened skin barrier, and persistent redness and blemishes, I bought this cream hoping to improve my skin barrier. The clean ingredient list and my positive experience with the toner and emulsion from the same line gave me confidence in this purchase. I planned to use the toner and emulsion in the morning, and the toner and cream at night. The tube packaging makes it incredibly convenient to use. The cream absorbs well without leaving a greasy feeling, which I really appreciate.

  Cons

  I've never experienced facial dryness in my life, but after switching to this cream, my skin started cracking and feeling tight! It was incredibly drying. Even applying multiple layers or reapplying after a couple of hours didn't help, so I couldn't even use half the tube. If it's drying for my super oily skin, I can't imagine how it would be for those with dry skin. I definitely don't recommend this product.
