Some products with similar designs can be too runny and drip, but this one stays put when applied directly to the face, making it super easy to use. It's great value for money, and for a cream, it absorbs quickly without causing makeup to pill. It's labeled as slightly acidic, which seems accurate as it doesn't irritate the skin. It balances oil and moisture well without making the skin overly shiny.
ConsThe scent isn't particularly pleasant. However, products with added fragrances often cause more skin irritation or negative effects, so this can't be considered a major complaint.
TipThis cream isn't overly rich, so it might be good for acne-prone skin. If you're prone to blemishes or have sensitive skin that reacts badly to oily products, this one shouldn't cause breakouts. I typically get blemishes from products with high oil content, but I didn't experience any issues with this one.

The ingredients are indeed simple, and with a pH of 5.5, it's mildly acidic. It didn't cause any irritation or blemishes on my skin. The cream isn't thick, so it absorbs well and is perfect for light application during summer.
ConsThe 40ml size runs out quickly, and the hydration could be better. The level of moisture it provides seems only suitable for summer. It leaves the skin feeling more matte than dewy, which can sometimes lead to dryness. While it's gentle, the hydration is lacking for a cream. You might be better off layering multiple emulsions instead.

ConsI didn't notice at first, but after daily use, my skin suddenly became extremely dry and rough

It absorbs well and spreads easily. It has a slightly acidic pH, which is good for the skin. It doesn't cause blemishes. It's not overly rich or greasy.
ConsThe product volume is 40ml, which is a bit less compared to other creams. Its hydrating power is somewhat weak.

Lightweight formula. Doesn't leave an oily residue even in summer.
ConsOnly suitable for summer use. For combination dehydrated skin, it feels dry inside but looks moisturized on the surface. Best used exclusively during summer months.

The oil and moisture balance also seemed quite good!
ConsIt gets used up quickly and tends to evaporate fast, so it might be challenging for those with dry skin to use during winter.

I use it with peace of mind because it doesn't contain ingredients that might trigger sensitive skin. Personally, I feel like my skin is a bit more soothed the day after using this product. I bought it as part of a set (toner, emulsion, cream) at a good price. At first, I didn't have high expectations, but after using it, I was pleasantly surprised by its lightweight texture that doesn't feel heavy. It works even better when used together with The Simple Toner and The Simple Emulsion. If you have the chance, I recommend trying the whole set. I'd also recommend this cream for those with oily skin as it can be applied lightly.
ConsI wouldn't strongly recommend this to people who are looking for a product that completely calms their skin. It feels more like a lightweight daily moisturizer.
TipI don't apply more of it when I have blemishes, but always use a thin layer. I've found that applying it thinly actually makes my skin feel better.

Since I'm using products from the same line, I feel like the soothing effects are more noticeable. I've been using it for a month now, and the red marks on my skin have faded somewhat. When I apply it twice on areas with blemishes before bed, they're calmed down by the next morning! Of course, we can't expect miraculous results from skincare products, but there's no harm in using it consistently, right? That's why I'm sticking with it.
ConsThe packaging is good for targeted application on blemish-prone areas, but the amount is quite small. I always buy it when it's on sale, though...
TipUsing products from the same line might have a boosting effect...? At least that's how I'm approaching my skincare routine.

If you're not particularly sensitive to ingredients, I highly recommend it!
ConsI can't say I've found anything particularly disappointing about it! I'm using it happily!

It feels great when applied after cleansing - no tightness! I didn't experience any deep dryness, and this cream alone with a hydrating toner provided ample moisture. 2. It didn't cause any additional blemishes. 3. The fact that it's slightly acidic is a plus. It helps soothe dead skin cells, and when applied thinly under the eyes, it prevents concealer from creasing over dark circles.
Cons1. As someone with acne-prone skin, I found it a bit too rich. While it's expected for a cream, I wouldn't recommend it for those with acne or oily skin. 2. It tends to pill when applied under makeup.
TipRecommended for those with dry skin!
