It subtly applies with a pink tint, which looks lovely in winter. Mixing it with other light shades creates an even more natural look. Given its deeper shade, it's not a color I reach for frequently. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 26, 2020
As someone with a cool undertone and deep complexion, I found this shade perfect for creating a naturally sun-kissed look with a beautiful hint of redness! It's versatile - looks great whether applied lightly or built up for more intensity. I didn't experience any itching, tingling, or blemishes where I applied it. With the right brush, it doesn't cause pilling or caking with my base makeup. The case is sturdy and survives drops well. Despite being a hard-pressed formula, it picks up easily on brushes, making application a breeze. While it's great overall, the price point is a bit steep. It doesn't pick up well on soft cheek brushes or powder puffs, so choosing the right brush can be tricky. I found that a dense, angled foundation brush with a large surface area works best. I'd also recommend trying a toothbrush-style makeup brush for application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 24, 2020
1. No blemishes appeared on the areas where I applied it! I was worried about powder getting stuck in my pores and causing small bumps, but there was none of that - it was great! 2. The color payoff is incredibly vivid, even with minimal application. 3. When applied over foundation with a brush (as long as you control the amount), it blends naturally without leaving any harsh lines or marks. 1. Unlike other shades, Black Honey Pop has such intense pigmentation that it requires some skill to control the amount applied. 2. The price is quite steep, unfortunately... While Innisfree's Lip and Cheek products were fine to apply with fingers, this one has such great color payoff that it's best to use a brush and apply it gently with careful control - that's the way to go! - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 2, 2019
For skin around shade 22, this looks truly natural and beautiful! My skin is naturally yellow without any redness, so using this to add a bit of life to my complexion really changes the whole vibe! Among Clinique's cheek products, this one falls into the red family. Think of it as a deep red with a drop of pink, rather than a pure pink shade. So far, it's flawless! If I had to nitpick, I'd say it might be a bit dark for those with lighter skin tones below shade 23. The color can look quite intense if you apply too much, so controlling the amount is crucial! Try this technique: Swirl your brush once in the product, tap off the excess, then alternately dab it on each cheek. This method ensures an even, beautiful application! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 20, 2017
The color is so beautiful! I love this reddish tone that suits my fair skin so well. It looks so natural on me since I'm a bit on the fairer side. They said it applies well with a puff, and it does - it glides on smoothly and the color payoff is great. The color payoff is good, but the longevity... well, it doesn't last long on my skin. I was worried it would make me look like a baked sweet potato if I applied too much, so I used just the right amount. But it wears off quickly, and after some time, it's barely noticeable. I used the Benefit Hoola bronzer to contour from my cheekbones to my jawline, and highlighted the front of my nose, chin, and forehead naturally. Applying this on top of that looks really nice! I just learned that if I use foundation and powder first, it doesn't wear off as much. ^^
