This is my holy grail blush! As a beauty junkie, I have tons of blushers, but this one takes the crown. The color is a deep MLBB (My Lips But Better) shade, as you can see! Being shade 23, when I sweep it across my cheekbones with a blush brush, it creates this gorgeous deep pink or reddish hue that's absolutely stunning. It complements both muted and light makeup looks beautifully! I usually pair it with rose-colored eyeshadow, and the color coordination is just perfect. The watercolor-like pigmentation means it doesn't create patchy or clumpy application. I've never once thought this blush was too intense while using it. While it's often touted as a winter cool-tone's must-have, I have a deep undertone and it works wonderfully for me. Regardless of whether you're warm or cool-toned, it looks beautiful when applied to the cheeks. There's nothing bad to say! I initially thought this blush, with its deep reddish MLBB color, leaned more warm-toned and might clash with cool-toned eyeshadows. So I was surprised to hear it described as a cool-toned blush. For application, sweep the blush across your entire cheek area, then focus on blending from the outer cheekbones inward. Gently pat a bit onto the apples of your cheeks for a natural gradient effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 9, 2019
Despite being a powder type, it's not drying at all. I love that it doesn't make my base makeup look patchy when I apply it with my fingers! The pigmentation is so intense, almost like eyeshadow, so you'll need to be careful with the amount you use. I usually prefer cream blushes and dislike powder ones because they're drying, but this one isn't drying at all, which is great! The color is a beautiful dried rose shade. The photo came out a bit bright - it was taken with the default camera on my Galaxy S9. While it's unavoidable for color cosmetics, it's a shame that the ingredients aren't the best... As you might expect, applying it with your fingers gives a more intense color payoff than using a brush. Since it doesn't pick up well on a brush, I gently blend it out with my fingers. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 28, 2018
The texture of Clinique Cheek Pop is truly amazing - you can apply it with a sponge like a cream blush or with a brush like a powder blush. The staying power is pretty good by my standards. I highly recommend it for a dewy glow cheek look. The toned-down pink-brown shade creates a sophisticated look when applied in harmony with your lip color. There aren't really any downsides. Honestly, opinions on the longevity seem to vary widely among users. I'm using it well. Just be careful when applying, as it can look like redness if not done properly. I love these so much that I own four different shades. There are also subtle colors available, so make sure to visit a store and try the testers before deciding. Be warned - after reading reviews and thinking 'this color looks nice', you might end up becoming a blush enthusiast like me, spending money on various shades!
