There is a nice warm sensation on the lips And after using it, my lips do become very moisturized, but I'm not sure about the exfoliating effect.

Pros
This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review I'm someone with very dry and flaky lips, so I've tried all sorts of products, but this is my first time using a scrub product. I was worried, but the formula turned out to be gentler than I expected, which I really liked. The scent is peppermint, which I recognize from somewhere... Ah, that's right, it's exactly the same as the Furabono scent! As I used it, some of the product did end up going into my mouth, but it wasn't a disgusting taste or anything like that. Haha.
Cons
Since this is a scrub type product, I found it a bit too much to use every day. My lips also felt a bit irritated, so I think people's preferences on this will be quite divided.
Tip
I usually slather on lip balm before bed, but when using this product, I'd gently massage it in with my fourth finger while watching dramas, without rinsing it off. I'd just use a wet wipe to remove the exfoliating bits, and then fully rinse it off the next day during my morning cleansing routine. Overall, this was an so-so item for me! I'd use it if I had it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to specifically buy and use it.

Pros
After using it and rinsing with water, my lips felt moisturized and conditioned, just like when I apply lip balm.
Cons
To be honest, I was really disappointed. I tend to have very dry, flaky lips regardless of the season. So when I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and received the lip scrub, I had high expectations. At first, I felt a tingling sensation when I applied it, and thought it might actually work. But in the end, it had no effect whatsoever... For the full 2 weeks... I'm glad I only received it as a sample.

※Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review※ First, I was supposed to write this before 12pm today, but due to a huge assignment overload, I ended up writing it late. I've been under a lot of stress lately because of the overwhelming assignments, and my combination skin has gotten even worse. The weather has also gotten colder and drier, making the flakiness on my skin much more severe. This is not just on my skin, but also on my lips. In the winter, matte lipsticks look so much prettier, but I couldn't do that look and had to go for a more moisturizing lip makeup instead.. But!!! I won the Hwahae Trial, and this is the first time I've ever used a lip scrub, and this product is really amazing. It doesn't peel off like a peeling gel when you rub and rinse it, but your lips feel so moisturized after using it! At first, I was wondering if it even removed anything, but after using this and applying the Tony Moly matte lip, it went on so beautifully!! I really want to do the matte lip look in the winter, but have been hesitant because of the lip flakiness, so I'll recommend this to anyone who's been struggling with that!
Cons
It's not that it's bad, but people with more sensitive skin might find the peppermint in this product a bit irritating and tingling. Just be mindful of that, but other than that, it's all good!>< (Personally, I actually like that tingling sensation..haha)
Tip
For those who have tried peeling gels before, you'll know that you can use this just like a peeling gel!! Just use it as directed in the instructions! But since this is also an exfoliator, it's best not to use it too often, maybe 1-2 times a week would be good.

1. It's so refreshing!! You can really feel the presence of peppermint the moment you apply it. 2. The moisturizing power seems to be decent. To put it into words, it's like the feeling when you apply a thick layer of lip balm and then blot it with a tissue. 3. Unlike other exfoliators that peel off, this one doesn't seem to remove the dead skin in clumps. So I'm not sure if it's working or not, but 'my lips feel lighter!!' The key point is that your lips feel lighter, if you know what I mean!! Hmm.. yeah, that's the best way I can describe it - they just feel lighter. 4. I was going to mention this in the second point, but I'll talk about it separately. Your lips get a nice sheen to them! And after using it, your lips aren't completely dry, but have a soft, non-greasy feel, unlike when you apply oil or lip balm. Your lips just have this beautiful glow to them (see the photo).

1. In trying to combine exfoliation and moisturizing, it ends up being mediocre at both. I'm not sure if the dead skin is actually removed, and it's not like my lips are super moisturized either. People who normally have a lot of dead skin and dry lips might not feel too satisfied with this product. 2. The granules are quite large, so it could be irritating for people with sensitive lips. Using it daily might not be a good idea either! It's not bad, but it's not something I'm super excited about using either. For the two reasons above, I gave it 3 stars. If half-stars were possible, I would have given it 3.5 stars! It's an average product.
Tip
Before applying matte lipstick, wet your lips and apply the product. Also, wet your fingertip and gently massage it in a circular motion for 30 seconds to a minute, then rinse. This way, you don't need to blot with a tissue or apply lip balm afterwards - you can just go straight to the matte lipstick! I found that letting it sit for a bit and then rinsing seems to enhance the moisturizing effect. The photo sequence is: product photo -> my normal bare lip condition -> after applying the product and rinsing as per the tip -> when I applied the matte lipstick (applied a bit haphazardly).

Pros
My lips are usually dry and prone to peeling, but this scrub feels moisturizing while still exfoliating. I used to use an Innisfree product, and the granules in this Chapstic product seem a bit smoother, so it works better for me. The peppermint scent is also refreshing.
Cons
The granules are a bit coarse and large for a lip product, so it can be a bit irritating. Also, the thick, vaseline-like texture with oil content means it doesn't rinse off completely with just water.

※Event Winner Review※ 1. While others said the volume was disappointing, I actually liked that the volume was small. When you buy larger cosmetic products, you often end up having to throw some away because you can't use it all before the expiration date, but I don't think that will be an issue with this product. 2. It's convenient. The usage is simple, just like the lip scrub products sold in the market. 3. There is some moisturizing effect after scrubbing. I was very satisfied that there was enough moisturizing effect that I didn't need to apply lip balm or vaseline separately.

1. Personally, I wish they had included a small spatula. Having to scoop it out with my fingers every time felt a bit unpleasant. 2. This is really a love-it-or-hate-it kind of thing... the scent. I absolutely hated it. Hated it so much that I lost the desire to use it further. It felt so sharp and irritating that even after wiping the area around my lips, there was still a stinging/irritating sensation left behind, which I really disliked personally. 3. The granules are too coarse and large. I was surprised at how large and coarse the granules were for a lip scrub. Rubbing it in caused the granules to keep escaping to the skin around my lips, and as I mentioned, my skin is sensitive so this was quite irritating. 4. It doesn't provide an amazing exfoliation. I had high expectations, but the exfoliation, while present, was not as dramatic as I had hoped given the large, coarse granules and the irritation I had to endure while using it.
Tip
1. Use an extremely small amount! Don't start off using a lot like I did, which ended up shocking me. Adjust the amount little by little as you scrub, and that will likely result in less irritation to your lips and the skin around them. 2. I have dry lips, so after scrubbing I just lightly applied some lip balm, and that left my lips feeling great for the day.

☆Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review☆ Just brushing my teeth leaves my lips feeling dry and parched, so I have to apply lip balm several times a day. Even though I have a lot of flaky skin, I've never tried a lip scrub before, but I was surprised to find that it actually provides good moisture. My lips don't feel dry even after brushing my teeth, and the moisture lasts for about two days. It's amazing... Using it 2-3 times a week means I don't need to do any other lip care, which is really convenient!
Cons
As soon as I opened it, I thought 'Ooh, this is going to sting.' And it really did irritate... Personally, I don't like the mint scent at all, it feels like I'm rubbing coarse salt toothpaste on my lips... After using it for a while, I got the hang of it and got used to the irritation, but I still don't think I'll use it often... I'll probably only use it when my lips are really flaky and gross. It doesn't completely get rid of 100% of the flaky skin. It just makes it somewhat presentable, I guess?
