Pros
Lately, my lip flakes have been at a scab-like level, so I decided to purchase this product. While showering, I soak the lip flakes a bit and gently exfoliate, and the larger flakes seem to disappear. Even without immediately applying the lip balm after exfoliating, there is still some level of moisturization.
Cons
While the larger flakes disappear, the really small flakes don't seem to get removed, or they even worsen. And the peppermint scent is quite strong... my lips end up feeling a bit stinging. I only used it about three times before I couldn't use it anymore, but I didn't want to waste it, so I've been using it on my elbows instead.

Pros
The product has a minty scent that is not too strong, and it felt good. When I rubbed it on my lips, it exfoliated the dead skin and at the same time, I could feel the moisturizing effect!! The moisturizing effect was really outstanding!! I usually apply lip balm before putting on lipstick because my lips tend to be dry, but with this product, I didn't need to apply lip balm separately, which was great!

After using it once or twice, my lips don't stay moisturized for a long time. It seems like it would be better to use it consistently. Pros
1. It's so refreshing!! You can really feel the presence of peppermint the moment you apply it. 2. The moisturizing power seems to be decent. To put it into words, it's like the feeling when you apply a thick layer of lip balm and then blot it with a tissue. 3. Unlike other exfoliators that peel off, this one doesn't seem to remove the dead skin in clumps. So I'm not sure if it's working or not, but 'my lips feel lighter!!' The key point is that your lips feel lighter, if you know what I mean!! Hmm.. yeah, that's the best way I can describe it - they just feel lighter. 4. I was going to mention this in the second point, but I'll talk about it separately. Your lips get a nice sheen to them! And after using it, your lips aren't completely dry, but have a soft, non-greasy feel, unlike when you apply oil or lip balm. Your lips just have this beautiful glow to them (see the photo).

1. In trying to combine exfoliation and moisturizing, it ends up being mediocre at both. I'm not sure if the dead skin is actually removed, and it's not like my lips are super moisturized either. People who normally have a lot of dead skin and dry lips might not feel too satisfied with this product. 2. The granules are quite large, so it could be irritating for people with sensitive lips. Using it daily might not be a good idea either! It's not bad, but it's not something I'm super excited about using either. For the two reasons above, I gave it 3 stars. If half-stars were possible, I would have given it 3.5 stars! It's an average product.
Tip
Before applying matte lipstick, wet your lips and apply the product. Also, wet your fingertip and gently massage it in a circular motion for 30 seconds to a minute, then rinse. This way, you don't need to blot with a tissue or apply lip balm afterwards - you can just go straight to the matte lipstick! I found that letting it sit for a bit and then rinsing seems to enhance the moisturizing effect. The photo sequence is: product photo -> my normal bare lip condition -> after applying the product and rinsing as per the tip -> when I applied the matte lipstick (applied a bit haphazardly).

It seems to last longer than expected. It's a gel type and has a strong peppermint or mint chocolate scent, but I personally liked it. It feels refreshing, almost like brushing your teeth. As you use it, you start to taste it too (?) and it's quite delicious.. After rinsing it off, there's a moisturized feeling left behind, like applying Vaseline. It seems to have an oil component, but it doesn't dry out, which I liked.

Hmm.. While the scent and moisturizing were good, it wasn't great for its main function of exfoliating. The granules just irritated the dead skin without effectively removing it, and the moisturizing effect was probably from the oil. I felt like I could just use lip balm or Vaseline instead. Pros
My lips are usually dry and prone to peeling, but this scrub feels moisturizing while still exfoliating. I used to use an Innisfree product, and the granules in this Chapstic product seem a bit smoother, so it works better for me. The peppermint scent is also refreshing.
Cons
The granules are a bit coarse and large for a lip product, so it can be a bit irritating. Also, the thick, vaseline-like texture with oil content means it doesn't rinse off completely with just water.

The scent is so refreshing and pleasant that I can't wait to apply it on my lips! My lips are usually very dry, and even after removing the tint with a lip and eye makeup remover, the stained flakes don't come off easily. Trying to peel them off would just cause more damage... 😢 But when I used this product, the visible flakes were removed, and I was really pleased with the performance. The product melts smoothly on the lips and gently exfoliates, so the application feels nice. And the best part is that those small, rough sebum-like bumps along the lip line also get removed!! This was such a source of stress for me, but now that they're easily removed, I feel so relieved...!!
Cons
If you apply too much, it can be a bit irritating, so it's better to just lightly roll it on. After using it, there's some dryness, so you must follow up with a lip balm or Vaseline for hydration.

I previously used the Vanillaco lip scrub product, and compared to this product, the exfoliation was more effective and the moisturization felt sufficient!!! As shown in the photo, the particles seem a bit larger than Vanillaco's, which may be the reason. And Vanillaco has a slightly runny formula that disappears quickly, but this one is not like that, which I liked better!! Anyway, the lip exfoliation effect was excellent, so I was happy with it👍

*Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review* -Case First of all, when I received it, I liked the simple design. I had also used other lip exfoliating products, but when using them, the case would get messy with the product. But this one, the contents inside are transparent, so that won't happen, and I liked the overall appearance. -Scent & Moisturization There may be some who like or dislike it, but personally, I found the peppermint scent to be very refreshing and nice. Pros
First, I really liked the gentle ingredients, and the subtle peppermint scent was nice. It effectively exfoliates lip flakes without being too harsh. However, it's better to use it after applying lip balm, as it works better on slightly moisturized lips to remove dead skin more effectively. Even after scrubbing, my lips still feel moisturized, so sometimes I just use a small amount instead of lip balm when my lips are dry.
