I'm quite satisfied! I think I use it about once or twice a week.
ConsIt stings a lot when it touches my tongue... Be careful not to let it get inside your mouth.
TipDampen a cotton pad with water, hold it against your lips for about 10 minutes, then gently rub it - this will remove the flakes completely!

ConsThe scrub particles are not small enough, so scrubbing too hard is painful, and the peppermint scent didn't suit me.
TipIf your lips are severely dry, applying it twice a week would be good, but for those without serious dryness, once a week should be sufficient. Don't scrub too hard, and apply it a couple of hours before bedtime, then put on lip balm - this will make the color look nicer when you apply it the next day. Also, slightly damp lips before exfoliating will reduce irritation a bit.

First, I've never used a lip peeling gel before. I do a facial peeling about once every 2 weeks..? Other than that, I don't have any special lip care routine! My lips are not usually very flaky, but I do like matte lipsticks, so there's a bit of visible peeling on the surface. 1. Easy to use. The only thing I can compare it to is the peeling gel I normally use, but(...) anyway, the peeling gel requires applying it to a dry face and gently rubbing it off after a certain time. But this product can be used right away just by wetting the lips, which is more convenient. I mostly used it in the evenings during the 2 weeks, but tried it a couple times in the morning after brushing my teeth. Just rub and rinse, and you're done! 2. The mint scent is nice. This is just my personal preference, but I do enjoy mint scents. So I really liked using this product:) The scent also lingered afterwards. Though I'm not sure about the lasting power since I (as mentioned below) had to rinse it off. 3. The granules are not too irritating. There are granules, but they're not too bothersome. But this can also be a matter of personal preference, and I may not be as sensitive as others, so be cautious.
Cons1. Difficult to control the amount. As you can see from other people's photos, since it's in a pot-type container, it's not easy to control the amount. I didn't know any better at first and used a generous amount, only to end up wasting half of it. 2. Leaves a slippery residue Even though I failed at controlling the amount the first time, I diligently rubbed and rinsed it off. But there was still a slick, glossy feeling left behind, like I had a thick layer of lip balm on. And I really dislike that kind of sensation... So in the end, I rinsed it off with soap. After that, I was able to control the amount better, but I still didn't like the lingering feeling, so I washed it off separately with soap or something. But this may just be a personal preference, and it might not bother others as much.
TipThe best part is that it's so easy to use, so I can even use it in the mornings or times like that! My slightly chapped lips have noticeably improved, so I'm planning to repurchase once I finish the one I currently have. I couldn't find the product photos I took, so I've only managed to upload a before picture and the current after picture. While it's not very noticeable, my lips used to feel rough after applying lip products, but now the surface is smooth. The area where I apply lip products feels nice and smooth:)

So I would always apply Ruby* and bite my lips, but since using this product, the lip biting and bleeding have completely stopped haha. I used to use other lip scrubs, but after scrubbing and rinsing with water, there was an unpleasant slippery and sticky feeling. However, with this Chaptick, after scrubbing and rinsing with water, it feels just like applying a lip balm - so moisturizing and nourishing!! I used to always apply a lip scrub followed by a lip balm, but now, even when I'm feeling lazy, I can just go out without applying anything, and my lips stay smooth all day. It's amazing, I highly recommend it. For those of you who love matte lipsticks like me but struggle with lip peeling, you should definitely have this product on hand - you won't regret it haha. By the way, I'm 100% sure I'll repurchase once I finish this one. I attached before and after photos of my lips when they had peeling and after using the scrub and applying Ruby*, but the difference is not very noticeable... I'm disappointed. I took the photos without any filters too, can you see the difference?
ConsI didn't have any major complaints about the product. The only thing is that it has a bit of a grainy texture, and I'm the kind of person who likes a good amount of grittiness to feel like the exfoliation is really working. It was still fine, but for those with sensitive lips or any kind of lip damage or blisters, it might not be the best fit. And this product has a peppermint scent, right? When you're rolling it on, you can definitely feel a bit of a tingling sensation. The peppermint aroma is quite noticeable too! Personally, I really enjoy peppermint, so the whole time I was using it, I just kept thinking about how much I wanted to eat some peppermint candy haha. But for those who don't like peppermint, this might not be the best option for you. (The grains are a bit coarse, but they crumble easily, so as long as you're not scrubbing too aggressively, it should be fine!)
TipThis may not be a groundbreaking tip, but... For those of you who love matte lipsticks like me and struggle with lip peeling, here's what I recommend: Before applying your makeup, exfoliate your lips with a scrub and then apply a lip balm. Finish off by applying your matte lipstick, and then gently blot your lips with a tissue. This way, your lips will stay moisturized underneath while having a nice, velvety finish on top. Those of us who deal with chronic lip peeling can definitely relate - whenever you go out and have a drink or a snack, you always have to reapply your lipstick, right? And then the peeling makes it such a hassle. But if you do the scrub-and-blot routine, your lips will stay smooth and soft, even when you need to reapply your lipstick. It makes the whole process so much easier!
