It contains a key anti-aging ingredient at a great value. Some might consider it a drawback that it only contains Matrixyl without other ingredients, requiring you to use it with other products. However, that's perfect for me since I already layer multiple products in my skincare routine.
ConsIt feels a bit sticky, and if you don't apply enough moisturizer underneath, it can be difficult to spread evenly due to its thick consistency.

Pros: Ingredients: Contains an impressive 10% Matrixyl (I believe 'Matrixyl' refers to a liposomal form that enhances penetration of peptides, which are typically difficult for the skin to absorb.) The ingredient list shows three peptides right after purified water and glycerin. No Blemishes: Didn't cause any blemishes during use. Packaging: Unlike most cosmetic containers with smooth lids, this one has grooves for better grip. It's easier to open and close compared to other brands, even with slippery hands. Seems like all The Ordinary serums have this type of packaging.
ConsCons: Texture and Application: The formula is thick and sticky. Doesn't absorb well. Feels like it sits on top of the skin. Effectiveness: The official store claims it improves fine lines, but I'm not sure. Perhaps expecting results after just one bottle is unrealistic. Scent: Has a somewhat sickly sweet smell that's not particularly pleasant. No added fragrances, so it's likely the natural scent of the ingredients. Not unbearable, but definitely not enjoyable.
TipPro Tip: To improve application, I recommend mixing a few drops of this product with your hydrating serum in your palm. Blend well with your fingertips before applying for better absorption.
