I just use it because people say it's good. I think it might absorb better if applied after retinol or vitamin serums.
ConsI'm currently using three The Ordinary products: hyaluronic acid, retinol, and Matrixyl. However, all three are sticky and rich. If you have oily skin, think carefully. They might be better suited for spring, fall, and winter use.
TipThese products are quite rich, but if you apply a modeling mask after using them, you get an incredible glow. That's why I can't give up The Ordinary even in summer!

I heard this product not only improves wrinkles but also enhances the effects of niacinamide and centella. While researching Matrixyl products, I chose this ampoule because it's versatile - can be used alone or mixed with other products - and affordable. The texture reminds me of the high molecular weight hyaluronic acid that was popular before. It applies smoothly with a hydrating feel and leaves a slightly sticky finish that becomes silky when dry. No residue on the skin. I'm also using it to improve the spreadability of thicker creams while adding extra benefits. It contains hyaluronic acid, which doesn't usually agree with my skin, but I haven't experienced any discomfort with this product. Fragrance-free. While I can't speak to its wrinkle-improving effects yet, I'm using it more for preventative slow-aging rather than correction. My personal rating: * Blemishes ** Not great *** Average **** Usable ***** Good
ConsDue to its formulation, product residue builds up around the dropper opening with each use. I tried using it as a first essence for a few days since it's supposed to enhance the effects of other skincare products, but it made subsequent products feel slightly sticky. Occasional pilling occurs, so I avoid using it in the morning. Careful amount control is necessary.

The active ingredients are positioned towards the front of the list. Among the peptide components, it's said to be good for wrinkles and skin regeneration. Since peptides target wrinkles and regeneration, I think it might take a very long time to see results.
ConsThe texture isn't great - it's too sticky. I'm not sure if the blemishes are occurring because it's sticky or if the peptides don't agree with my skin. Personally, I feel like peptide ingredients don't suit me well. I remember not liking other peptide products I've used in the past either.
TipSince it's sticky, mixing it with other products might be a good solution.

I used all three without hesitation on the first day. And then it all went downhill. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ After about 4 days of not using it, it came back, and the buffet was the best rated, so I used it alone for dinner one night... but I saw my face flip over again after just a minute, so I immediately washed it off ㅠㅠ (Redness and acne popped up ㅠㅠ) After calming it down for a day, I tried the Matrixyl. On the first day, I didn't notice any obvious improvements, just a 'Huh? No change at all?' But on the second day, when I was doing my morning makeup, I noticed the wrinkles between my eyebrows were less noticeable than before! After using it for about 4 days, the wrinkles between my eyebrows and the fine lines at the corners of my lips when I smile have noticeably decreased!!!! They haven't disappeared completely (of course not, it's not a procedure) but they've visibly reduced!!! I'm in my second week of using it, and I can feel the elasticity returning to my skin.... It's really the best, I haven't had a single breakout while using it, and just when I think 'Well, it's nothing special,' a miracle happens......
ConsHmm.. not really anything bad! The finish is a bit sticky, but compared to the buffet, it's a minor issue... And it absorbs quickly, so you don't have to worry about it being too much.
TipI also have the Super Pure from Glossier, which has niacinamide + zinc. I use that one together, and it's the ultimate combo. I have dry, problematic skin, so using the Super Pure alone wasn't enough, even with the cream, it was still too drying ㅠㅠ These days I'm using toner + Super Pure + Matrixyl + cream, and it's really not drying at all.... (It's insanely dry here...) No breakouts either.... ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ If it could just stay like this, I'd have nothing else to wish for hehe <3
