Pros
I'm a fan of runny textures, and this one really shines in terms of how it applies and absorbs. It's been great for layering with multiple serums during my evening skincare routine.
Cons
While it's nice that it doesn't cause any blemishes and applies well, I can't say I've noticed any remarkable effects beyond that. I've been using it with the hope that it's doing something good for my skin, even if I can't see it.

Pros
I bought this to use with retinol as recommended. It applies smoothly and absorbs well into the skin.
Cons
For my skin (thin and super sensitive), when used alone, it caused a tingling sensation and my face was noticeably swollen the next day.
Tip
Since it seemed a bit harsh, I found it worked better when I mixed it with a gentler cream during application.

Pros
I'm really satisfied with how it absorbs and applies! First off, the price seems reasonable, which I like, but I think I'll need to use it more to know for sure.

Pros
Here's my review after using two bottles. While it's said to have wrinkle-improving effects, I used it preventatively. So, I didn't personally experience the wrinkle-reducing benefits. However, I'm extremely satisfied with the product's performance. I mainly used it during the day since I use retinol products at night. Despite having a slightly viscous texture, it absorbs well and spreads easily. I could even apply it twice without feeling heavy on my skin. It's convenient to use and feels light, making me reach for it often. After using two bottles, I'm satisfied and plan to continue using it consistently.
Cons
There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It might be nice if there was a larger size available, but I think the current price and quantity are excellent.
Tip
I used it alongside the same company's Argireline product, and it worked well. The Argireline is much thinner, so I applied it first, followed by the Matrixyl. I also tried adding Pycnogenol to my cream, and it paired nicely with this product too.

Pros
The Ordinary is a brand I love for its great value and focus on ingredients. While some of their products can be hit or miss in terms of how they apply, this one is a dream to use. It has a slightly runny texture that feels packed with nourishment. I always keep a few stocked up. Just applying this alone gives me that coveted 'glass skin' effect!
Cons
While it's marketed as effective for fine lines and firmness, I'm not sure about the wrinkle-fighting claims. However, it does seem to make my skin feel more supple when applied. To be honest, I don't have any major complaints about it.
Tip
This product pairs well with retinol, so you can mix it with a retinol cream in the evening. For mornings, a simple routine of toner, followed by this product, and then a hydrating or nourishing cream works great!

* I have combination dehydrated skin with blackheads, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and blemishes. I heard this product not only improves wrinkles but also enhances the effects of niacinamide and centella. While researching Matrixyl products, I chose this ampoule because it's versatile - can be used alone or mixed with other products - and affordable. The texture reminds me of the high molecular weight hyaluronic acid that was popular before. It applies smoothly with a hydrating feel and leaves a slightly sticky finish that becomes silky when dry. No residue on the skin. I'm also using it to improve the spreadability of thicker creams while adding extra benefits. It contains hyaluronic acid, which doesn't usually agree with my skin, but I haven't experienced any discomfort with this product. Fragrance-free. While I can't speak to its wrinkle-improving effects yet, I'm using it more for preventative slow-aging rather than correction. My personal rating: * Blemishes ** Not great *** Average **** Usable ***** Good
Cons
Due to its formulation, product residue builds up around the dropper opening with each use. I tried using it as a first essence for a few days since it's supposed to enhance the effects of other skincare products, but it made subsequent products feel slightly sticky. Occasional pilling occurs, so I avoid using it in the morning. Careful amount control is necessary.

Pros
I bought this because peptides are said to help with the moisture barrier. It absorbs well, feels hydrating after application, and doesn't pill under my cream. It's great for morning skincare routines.
Cons
Be careful not to use it with AHA or BHA products, as that combination isn't recommended.
Tip
Personally, I find it works even better when mixed with my regular moisturizer or other products I'm using. It gives an extra boost of hydration that leaves my skin feeling plump and nourished.

There are no downsides! I really can't think of anything negative to say about this product.
Tip
I use niacinamide on my nose and butterfly zone, while applying this product to other areas of my U-zone, forehead, and neck wrinkles. It's effective and I love it. I apply one layer all over, then spot-treat smile lines and neck wrinkles with an extra layer. I'm currently on my second bottle. Even after trying more expensive products like Aio*, I keep coming back to this one. That's how much I recommend it.
