Pros
First of all, I tend to have extremely chapped lips. Especially in the winter, my lips would crack and peel, and the dead skin would just make things even worse - a real double whammy that really bothered me. People around me would say 'Hey, you really need to start using some lip balm!' But the thing is, I was already using lip balm all the time! I was using my holy grail product, the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, but I thought it might be good to try something new. That's when I was recommended the Avène Cold Cream Lip Cream, and I decided to give it a shot! At first, my lips were really cracked and peely, and I even ended up picking at the dead skin, causing them to bleed and scab over. But when I applied the Avène cream, something amazing happened - my lips just calmed down so nicely, and they looked and felt so smooth and supple. Even the deep lip lines that had been bothering me improved significantly.
Cons
I tend to prefer unscented products, so the fact that this has a slight fragrance and feels a bit tacky is a bit of a letdown for me.

I had used up the previous product and wanted to try something different, so I bought this lip cream... It was really moisturizing and I liked it!
Cons
The sweet scent was not great and it didn't remove lip flakes..ㅠ

Pros
Applying it at night and sleeping results in your lips feeling moisturized and supple the next morning - it has the best moisturizing power.
Cons
The scent is quite strong, and personally I don't recommend it as it feels too waxy and greasy, like Vaseline. When you touch your bangs after applying it, it feels sticky.

Pros
My lips were very dry, and regular lip balms didn't work at all. But I bought this one based on a recommendation, and it made my lips feel moisturized and helped reduce flakiness.

It feels good that it doesn't feel too sticky and applies at a nice, medium thickness. I get a sense of good moisturization! :)

Pros
I bought 2 lip balms with 8 months left on the expiration date from Lohbs for 7,000 won, as I was tempted by the deal. To provide some context, my lips need to be moisturized with lip balm 365 days a year. While they don't get severely chapped or irritated anymore since I apply lip balm regularly, I still need to apply it after meals, after brushing my teeth, before bed, and throughout the day. If I don't, my lips get dry, tight, and can even become painful and reddened. The upside is that it provides good moisturizing power.
Cons
It contains mineral oil and fragrance ingredients. Even though it has fragrance, the scent is quite lackluster (just my personal preference, but I prefer unscented products). Personally, I don't prefer mineral oil, but I've heard that mineral oil has large particles and provides high moisturizing benefits, so it can be good for quickly hydrating severely chapped lips by forming a protective barrier and preventing moisture loss, as explained in a video by Director Pai. The application is also a bit heavy. It doesn't absorb cleanly, leaving a lingering feel on the lips. I wouldn't recommend it for summer use. However, it doesn't make the lips feel greasy.
Tip
They seem to have 1+1 sales often. I'd recommend this for those with severely chapped lips. I suggest using it as a winter lip balm. Please share any recommendations for good lip balms or lip creams!

Since my lips tend to get very chapped and cracked, I tried using the gift I received, and it definitely provided great moisture, so I had no worries about my lips drying out at all. Haha.
Cons
The texture, if I may say so, felt a bit too thick and sticky after application, and the cream's unique scent (though unscented, it didn't quite smell unscented) lingered in my mouth, so the overall experience wasn't great.
Tip
I think applying it a little at a time, more frequently, is the best approach. Haha.

Pros
My lips were always terribly chapped, so I used Nivea religiously for about 10 years. But then I saw that Avène products were on a 1+1 sale at Olive Young, so I decided to try them. The scent is less intense, and if I apply a generous amount before bed, my lips feel so moisturized when I wake up.
Cons
I used to blindly trust that Avène products were paraben-free, and I finished one of their lines about 15 years ago. But the lack of scent made me not want to repurchase. This time, I bought their lip cream and optimal cream, and when I checked Hwahae, I was disappointed by the ingredients. I thought they were good at the time, but now I'm feeling anxious about it.
Tip
If my lips have a lot of flaky skin, I apply a generous amount and then use a cotton swab to gently remove it. Before, I used to pick at the flakes, which would cause bleeding, but this method allows me to remove it cleanly. It's a quick process that I can do even right before applying my makeup.

The actual feel is not too sticky or too heavy. After application, my previously dry lips become more comfortable (but this is the case with most tube lip balms).
Cons
The moisturizing power is too short-lived, so the moisturizing effect is lacking. As someone who has to be careful about dry lips and uses lip balm, this is quite unsatisfactory for me.
