  I'm really satisfied with this product and continue to use it regularly. First off, I have combination dehydrated skin. As the seasons changed, I felt like my skin lacked hydration even after applying ampoules and creams. That's when I started using this ampoule, and I could feel it protecting my skin. It doesn't feel too heavy either. Since I've been using this product, the deep dryness in my face has disappeared.

  Cons

  The scent is a bit disappointing. When I first smelled it, there was an artificial fragrance that made me wonder if it might not be good for my skin. However, I'm still using it because it's effective. You get used to it after a while.

  Tip

  In my routine, I apply this ampoule and a rich emulsion in the morning. In the evening, I use a hyaluronic acid ampoule followed by a hydrating moisturizer. I feel like my skin has become firmer since I started using it. I definitely recommend it!

  I was in need of a hydrating essence and was torn between this and the Laneige Water Bank, but ultimately chose this one. I used to have oily skin, but now it's combination dehydrated. Sometimes it gets so dry that foundation won't even stick. This essence isn't heavy, yet it keeps my skin moisturized for a long time and even tackles deep dryness. For extra dry areas or around the eyes, applying a second layer really boosts the hydration. Although I usually prefer fragrance-free products, I'm satisfied with this one. I'll definitely repurchase it.

  Cons

  The texture might be a bit sticky for some, which could be hit or miss, but it wasn't an issue for me.

  Tip

  I apply the ampoule twice, then immediately layer on a light oil thinly, followed by a sheet mask. This is my go-to routine when my skin's oil and moisture balance is out of whack.

  * Won a spot as a Hwahae Tester * 1. It's pleasantly hydrating, perfect for use during seasonal changes. 2. The texture is delightfully thick and bouncy, just the way I like it. 3. It absorbs well with continued patting, without sitting on top of the skin. This helps prevent that deep dryness feeling.

  Cons

  The scent is a major letdown. As I mentioned in the survey, while the functional aspects of the ampoule are excellent, the artificial medicinal smell seems poorly masked by fragrance. The cover-up attempt falls short. Every time I roll it between my hands, I'm hit with an intensifying scent that's reminiscent of paint with a layer of perfume on top. If they could eliminate the fragrance or effectively neutralize the base scent, this could become a best-in-class cosmetic product.

  I was lucky enough to win a sample of the full-size product in an event. After using it for two weeks, I can say the texture isn't too runny like a typical skin toner. The next day after application, my skin feels firmer, and it seems to provide both surface and deep hydration. It's an excellent product for dry skin. There's definitely a reason why premium products come with a higher price tag!

  While the absorption isn't bad, it does leave a slightly oily film on the skin, which I'm not particularly fond of. As someone with oily skin, it feels a bit heavy.

It also didn't cause any blemishes. It absorbs well, so I can gently pat a small amount all over my face and apply sunscreen without any pilling.

  1. It doesn't provide deep hydration from within. It's not an oily film either, but it's hard to explain. While it's not drying, it doesn't give that surge of moisture from the inside, and it feels too rich to be called just moisturizing. 2. The fragrance will definitely be a love-it-or-hate-it situation. It's a bit overwhelming. 3. It's quite sticky, so I only apply a tiny amount as a single 'coating' on my face to finish my skincare routine. When I sleep, I layer it two or three times, but it's a mess in the morning, so I always put a towel on my pillow.

  As soon as I used it, my skin reacted badly with tiny blemishes all over my cheeks, forehead, and chin. Now my skin is a mess, all red and irritated. I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. It might be suitable for people with steel-like skin who can use anything, especially if they have dry skin. Also, the scent is somewhat reminiscent of old-school men's aftershave.

  I strongly advise against using this if you have sensitive skin or if you're typically reactive to skincare products.
