After using it for about two days, I could clearly see my blemishes disappearing. I was a bit worried because it has a watery texture, thinking it might be sticky, but it's not at all. It applies smoothly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. It's definitely a product I'm happy with.
ConsI've gotten used to it now, but at first, I wasn't a fan of the scent... It has a strong skincare smell.

Here's my review after using about half the bottle. The texture looks like thin mucus, but it feels heavy like oil when applied. It spreads easily, but it feels like it's creating a heavy layer, so even with my dry skin, I can't use it in summer. The ingredients seem focused on hydration. It's great to use before bed during seasonal changes or in winter. It's often on sale, making it an affordable ampoule option. I'm satisfied as it hasn't caused any irritation or blemishes.
ConsThe fragrance is quite strong. The intense scent makes it off-putting, so I don't reach for it often.

I highly recommend it to those with extremely dry skin who struggle with foundation flaking off even after applying layers of skincare in the cold autumn and winter months. Application: The texture is quite nice. At first, you might think 'Oh, this ampoule is quite thick', but when you apply it, you'll feel a perfect balance of hydration and richness. There's a slight sticky feeling, but not enough to make tissues stick to your face. The stickiness mostly disappears after a while. Absorption: While some reviewers mentioned that absorption could be better, I find that about 30 minutes after application, it's completely absorbed with no stickiness left. This might be because I have very dry skin, but from my perspective (as someone with deep dryness and extreme dryness), I think it absorbs well. Hydration: Do I even need to say it? I can apply foundation right after using this. It's absolutely fantastic for hydration and protecting the skin barrier. I've tried many ampoules, but the Laneige Waterfall's hydrating power is unbeatable. Price: I believe I purchased it for around 20,000 won during an Olive Young sale. Laneige always seems to be on sale when I run out!
ConsScent: The fragrance is quite strong and very floral. Not recommended for: To be honest, I'm not sure. I recommended it to my friend with very oily skin, and she said it helped reduce her acne. Even my friend with sensitive skin said it wasn't bad.
TipFor those with extremely dry skin, definitely mix this with your toner before applying makeup. I promise your foundation won't flake off! Applying it before bed is a must.

It absorbs well and gives a nice, firm feeling to the skin. I really like that. My skin tends to get very dry and flaky in winter, but after using this ampoule, I've noticed significantly less dead skin cells. While many people mention a strong scent, I personally didn't find it overpowering.
ConsFor an ampoule, it's a bit on the watery side, so it seems to run out quickly. I'm also slightly disappointed with the ingredients.

I applied it between my toner and cream, both morning and night. I started using this ampoule with confidence, given the brand's renowned reputation, and sure enough, it absorbed well. It provided good hydration, preventing my dry skin from becoming too parched overnight. I could even skip the cream step. It should work well for most people, except those with extremely dry skin.
ConsThe fragrance was a bit strong. Also, there was a noticeable oily residue, even on my dry skin. Reading other reviews, I noticed some people described it as sticky. It's like there's a layer of oil left on the skin. Personally, I didn't find it sticky, but I did notice the residue.
TipAfter applying a hydrating toner, you can use this product and potentially skip the cream. However, it might not absorb as well if you're planning to apply a cream afterward.

Many serums I've tried left my skin feeling dry when I woke up, but this one doesn't. It also didn't cause any blemishes. It absorbs well, so I can gently pat a small amount all over my face and apply sunscreen without any pilling.
Cons1. It doesn't provide deep hydration from within. It's not an oily film either, but it's hard to explain. While it's not drying, it doesn't give that surge of moisture from the inside, and it feels too rich to be called just moisturizing. 2. The fragrance will definitely be a love-it-or-hate-it situation. It's a bit overwhelming. 3. It's quite sticky, so I only apply a tiny amount as a single 'coating' on my face to finish my skincare routine. When I sleep, I layer it two or three times, but it's a mess in the morning, so I always put a towel on my pillow.
TipLayer it using very small amounts.

This is a review from a Hwahae Tester. I used the product for about 3 days. I couldn't bear to use it any longer than that. The application is smooth and moisturizing. It feels like it creates a protective moisture barrier. It didn't cause any blemishes.
ConsIn my opinion, the fragrance is not pleasant. Rather than deeply hydrating, it feels like it's just coating the surface. It seems to sit on top of the skin. Instead of being pleasantly rich, it feels heavy and sticky.
TipI think it might work better if mixed with a water-based toner.

Although it's an ampoule, it's not as runny as water - more like a perfect balance between a hydrating cream and a liquid. I also appreciated that it's transparent with no added pigments. It feels more rich than hydrating, so it might be worth trying for those with dry skin. The moisturizing power is definitely good. I received this as a sample from an event win, so the amount wasn't huge, but a little goes a long way. It should last quite a while.
ConsDespite being called a 'Waterful Ampoule', it feels much more rich than hydrating. For someone like me who was expecting more hydration, this product wasn't a good fit. Also, the fragrance is too strong - you can smell it as soon as you open it and dispense some onto your hand. While the scent isn't unpleasant, I wonder if they really needed to add so much fragrance. It feels like applying perfume to your face. While I didn't experience any blemishes after using this, I didn't notice any benefits either, so I can't really recommend this product.

With the cold winds lately, I applied it in the morning before going out and noticed less tightness on my face, keeping it hydrated. It seems like a good option for those dry, windy days.
ConsIf only it didn't contain fragrance and phenoxyethanol, I would have felt more comfortable using and testing it thoroughly. I was cautious about using it, fearing skin reactions. While it's moisturizing, it's slightly sticky, causing my hair to cling to my skin.
TipTry mixing the emulsion with the ampoule for best results.
