First off, it's thinner compared to other emulsions, making it easy to apply. Overall, I had a decent experience using this product. While using it, I felt it didn't fully absorb into my skin. It's hydrating, but I didn't get the sense that it deeply moisturized my skin. The wide opening made me worry about hygiene since I had to touch it with my fingers. I think using it with a cotton pad like a toner might be a good alternative. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 13, 2019
It's lightweight and gentle, making it easy to apply. My husband and I are using it together. The hydration isn't as good as I expected, leaving my skin feeling a bit tight. I need to apply a moisturizer on top. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 24, 2019
Those of us with dry skin are crying in this weather! My skin was so parched, and after finishing my usual emulsion, I decided to try the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum. It's wonderfully hydrating for my dry skin. While some people mention skin reactions, I personally didn't experience any blemishes or irritation! Unfortunately, it absorbs rather slowly, which is disappointing. I'm the type who dislikes feeling residue on my skin, and this leaves a bit of an oily film. I don't think I'll be repurchasing this product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 16, 2018
I could feel some hydration, which was nice! As I used it, I noticed blemishes appearing on my face. It feels like it's sitting on top of the skin and brings up a lot of excess oil. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2018
Summary: Hydration: ★★ Rich texture: ★★★★★ Absorption: ★ Lasting power: ★★★★ Gentle: ★★★☆ Finish: Oily, sits on top of skin Scent: Amber Recommended for very dry skin / Not recommended for oily & acne-prone skin 'I realized for the first time that even an emulsion can cause deep dryness...' ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - The only good thing is the ingredient list... - This product essentially fails to function as a proper emulsion. It's incredibly greasy and just sits on top of the skin! Although it contains green tea oil, it doesn't seem to absorb into the skin at all. I applied an emulsion, but... why does my skin feel so oily on the surface yet so dry underneath?! A good emulsion should be lightweight and provide deep hydration, but this doesn't do that at all. - Due to the lack of proper hydration, I'm getting small blemishes. And because it feels dry even after application, I keep using more product. This only leads to a vicious cycle of more greasiness and the product sitting on top of my skin... Worst of all, when I use this, my sunscreen and foundation also start to pill. - It's neither an essence nor a proper emulsion - it's in a weird in-between position. As a result, I never reach for it. - The scent is really like old-fashioned men's aftershave and gives me a headache. I'm used to this smell from the green tea line, so I try to ignore it. But since I don't like the product itself, the scent bothers me even more...
