It doesn't work well for my acne-prone oily skin. I'd recommend this for those with dry skin. Same as above. I'd suggest this for people with dry skin. For me, I noticed a few blemishes starting to appear. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 1, 2019
Perfect for those with dehydrated skin. True to its name, this essence feels like it's overflowing with hydration... It feels extremely rich. If you have oily skin or during summer, it might lead to excess oil and blemishes... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 18, 2019
I really like this product! It doesn't make my face feel tight and keeps it nicely hydrated. The amount is a bit small, unfortunately. Also, I think it might be causing some blemishes. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 30, 2019
This product is perfect for seasonal transitions. It has just the right balance of moisture and hydration, so it doesn't feel heavy. After showering, applying this makes my skin feel soft and supple while giving it a boost of hydration. It really puts me in a good mood! This product feels too heavy for summer or hot days. If you're not careful with application, it can lead to excess oil and cause blemishes. For summer use, try mixing it with a soothing cream for better results. If you have dry skin or need more moisture and hydration, try applying an extra layer or two. Adjust the number of applications based on your skin type for best results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 21, 2019
My first impression was positive. I generally like all Innisfree products. The scent was also pleasant. I have such dry skin that even emulsions can pill if I apply them incorrectly. While this product is moisturizing, I think it's because I have super sensitive skin, but my face reacted badly. My cheeks turned completely red and irritated, and my skin overall just freaked out. I couldn't even use half of it and will have to switch to something else. If you have sensitive skin, proceed with caution. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 6, 2019
I'd say it's somewhat moisturizing... I guess? It's too watery, and feels too heavy for oily skin. Also, I used it without knowing better and ended up with small blemishes popping up... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 13, 2019
It doesn't feel heavy and seems to be oil-free. This emulsion is perfect for light summer application. It might not be enough on its own during winter. I'd recommend this more for those with oily skin rather than dry skin types. I've been dealing with acne for 3 years now. I bought this without really checking the ingredients, as I originally went to buy the green tea serum. My acne had been improving lately, and with the weather getting warmer, I went to Innisfree to get a summer emulsion. It felt fine when I applied it in the morning, but after about a day, I noticed small bumps appearing. While I didn't get any major blemishes, tiny pimples started showing up. As I went about my day, it became irritating, and the emerging pimples were itchy. Apparently, the shea butter ingredient can trigger acne, which seems to be the case here. I don't think I'll be repurchasing this. 1. Morning Routine: I cleanse with Acnes Foaming Wash. I mix Innisfree Essence in Serum Emulsion with a drop of tea tree oil and apply it (though I won't be using it anymore). I used to mix Round A'Round Green Tea Relief Cream with tea tree oil, which worked fine back then. I apply Nexcare stickers to areas with larger blemishes. 2. Evening Routine: I cleanse with Acnes Foaming Wash. I use Dokdo Toner as a mask on my cheeks, then wipe my face with the remaining toner. I apply Round A'Round Green Tea Relief Cream. I spot-treat acne-prone areas with 23years old Badecasil Original. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2019
The staying power is impressive. It seems like it would be excellent for those with dry skin. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this for oily skin. It actually made my blemishes worse and increased oil production. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2019
I have sensitive, dry skin with small bumps on my forehead and inflammatory acne on my cheeks. 1) The texture is incredibly hydrating and refreshing! It absorbs quickly, and I love how light it feels on the skin. 2) The fragrance is reminiscent of the green tea line's signature fresh and pleasant scent! Beyond these points, I can't think of any other particular benefits.. 1) As someone with acne, I hope for products that either calm my breakouts or at least don't exacerbate them. However, after applying this product, I noticed my forehead acne worsened. I'm not sure which ingredient doesn't agree with my skin, but even with intermittent use, I consistently experienced breakouts. 2) It's not moisturizing enough... While it feels refreshing, the hydration level falls short for my dry skin. I'd recommend this to those with oily skin, but if you have dry skin, you'll need to layer it with a richer, more hydrating formula. This product alone might be sufficient to combat dehydration for those with oily skin. However, if you have dry skin, you should apply a more potent and heavier moisturizer on top. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 13, 2019
The way it absorbs feels a bit heavy for summer use, but it would be perfect for winter skincare. After using this, I noticed two or three blemishes appearing on my skin...
