My elementary school child, who occasionally gets blemishes, has been using this consistently for a few years now. It has a lovely scent, absorbs well, and isn't sticky at all. I can't think of any downsides. However, since it's not intensely moisturizing, those with dry skin might want to use a cream alongside it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 11, 2019
I tried a sample and loved how light yet hydrating it was, so I bought the full-size product. The pump dispenser makes it easy to use, and in summer this was all I needed for my skincare routine. The fragrance is lovely too. I didn't notice at first, but now that I've been using it for a while, I find it's a bit sticky. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 10, 2019
The scent isn't overpowering, and the texture feels a bit thin, so I thought my face might feel tight after using it. However, it left my skin feeling moisturized without any tightness. It seems perfect for summer use! Those with very dry skin might find it a bit lacking in hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 8, 2019
My skin type is combination, sensitive, and combination dehydrated. Here's what I liked: - As it's an essence-in-emulsion, it was convenient to apply when traveling or in a hurry. - It has a pleasant green tea scent. - It's great for those who don't like applying multiple products. - While it's hydrating and moisturizing, if you need extra moisture, make sure to follow up with a cream. What could be improved: - Using this product alone might not be sufficient for some skin types. Be sure to apply a cream afterwards for optimal hydration! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 27, 2019
The lasting hydration after application is a standout feature. I love how it leaves my skin feeling moisturized for hours. The pleasant fragrance is another plus, and it gives my complexion a beautiful glow. The product quantity is disappointingly small. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 21, 2019
My first impression was positive. I generally like all Innisfree products. The scent was also pleasant. I have such dry skin that even emulsions can pill if I apply them incorrectly. While this product is moisturizing, I think it's because I have super sensitive skin, but my face reacted badly. My cheeks turned completely red and irritated, and my skin overall just freaked out. I couldn't even use half of it and will have to switch to something else. If you have sensitive skin, proceed with caution. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 18, 2019
It's easy to apply and I love the subtle fragrance. It feels a bit lacking when used alone, but I'm still satisfied overall. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 27, 2019
It's gentle on the skin and works well. Absorbs nicely and has a pleasant scent. The hydration isn't exceptional. You might need to apply a separate moisturizer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 22, 2019
Overall impression: Recommended for summer! For other seasons, those with dry skin might want to reconsider. 1. Light and moisturizing when applied It feels like the lightest emulsion I've ever used. If it's summer and you dislike sticky products, this isn't a bad choice. 2. Pleasant fragrance The reason I keep coming back to Green Tea products! The Innisfree Green Tea line's scents are totally my cup of tea. Honestly, as a skincare product it's just okay, but if they released the same scent as a perfume, I'd buy it in a heartbeat! (Innisfree team, have you considered making a fragrance? Even a body mist would be amazing!) As for the rest, well... 1. The hydration is... While it's light and refreshing, it falls short on moisture. It feels hydrating only at the moment of application, but by afternoon my skin feels tight. I've tried many products to combat my dehydrated skin, and this one is particularly light. I probably won't use it before summer arrives. If you're using products from the same line, I'd say the Seed Serum might be a better choice. This is just my personal opinion, of course! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2019
I have sensitive, dry skin with small bumps on my forehead and inflammatory acne on my cheeks. 1) The texture is incredibly hydrating and refreshing! It absorbs quickly, and I love how light it feels on the skin. 2) The fragrance is reminiscent of the green tea line's signature fresh and pleasant scent! Beyond these points, I can't think of any other particular benefits.. 1) As someone with acne, I hope for products that either calm my breakouts or at least don't exacerbate them. However, after applying this product, I noticed my forehead acne worsened. I'm not sure which ingredient doesn't agree with my skin, but even with intermittent use, I consistently experienced breakouts. 2) It's not moisturizing enough... While it feels refreshing, the hydration level falls short for my dry skin. I'd recommend this to those with oily skin, but if you have dry skin, you'll need to layer it with a richer, more hydrating formula. This product alone might be sufficient to combat dehydration for those with oily skin. However, if you have dry skin, you should apply a more potent and heavier moisturizer on top.
