The absorbs well and the scent isn't that typical sunscreen smell - it's more like aloe? So I didn't mind it at all.
ConsProbably because it's waterproof, I did feel like there was a layer on my face after applying it. But since I don't use it every day, it wasn't a big deal.

Personally, I prefer the renewed version - it feels more powdery and the curved applicator shape is better too. Since it's aloe-based, it doesn't smear much. The aloe scent is subtle and pleasant, not overpowering, making it comfortable to apply. I bought another one for my boyfriend, and he's using it without any complaints!
ConsTo prevent drying out and minimize dust, it comes with a cap-like cover. However, I'm worried my boyfriend might easily lose it, which is a bit of a shame.

It has a fresh, powdery scent that's really pleasant. Shape: As you can see in the photo, there's a curve when viewed from the front, and from the top, it's designed with both wide and narrow surfaces. This new shape seems more convenient for applying to the face compared to the previous version! It looks like it will conform well to facial contours and allow for precise application in smaller areas, even without rubbing it in during water activities. Hygiene: While tube-type sunscreens are often considered more hygienic for everyday use, this stick format is actually much more sanitary for water activities. You can apply it directly to your face or body without getting your hands, which may be wet or dirty, involved. Considering its waterproof properties, I'd say this Sunproof product is optimized for use during water activities. Texture: It glides on smoothly without irritation and leaves a soft, powdery finish! However, those with dry skin like me should make sure to apply a good moisturizing base underneath.
ConsI have sensitive eyes, and this does cause a slight stinging sensation. The ingredients list is a bit disappointing, possibly due to its waterproof properties.

The product packaging is a cheerful yellow color that looks fresh and pretty! The flat shape with a curved top makes it easy to apply smoothly on the face or body in one swipe. It has a protective cap to prevent the product from drying out. The size is about as big as a palm. The product has a pleasant, refreshing scent. It's not overly sweet, so it should be nice to apply even in summer. While I found it fine, those sensitive to fragrances might find it a bit strong. This sunstick truly lives up to its name as a powdery sunstick! Unlike other products that claim to be powdery but end up feeling sticky, this one applies smoothly and feels truly powdery (the formula isn't too soft). Amazingly, you can definitely feel that you've applied it, but it still feels powdery! It works well even when applied lightly over makeup. Interestingly, this sunstick seems to control excess oil and leaves the face feeling powdery, so it definitely has a primer effect! Just be careful not to rub too hard over makeup, as any sunstick can cause some pilling if you do. I would repurchase this! I want to recommend it to others. This product was actually recommended by the YouTuber 'Office Worker A'! It's a trusted item that I've grown to love even more!
ConsAs mentioned earlier, those sensitive to fragrances might find the scent a bit strong. However, I found it fine since it's a refreshing scent rather than an overwhelming one!
TipIt has an oil-controlling effect! It's great to swipe on in the afternoon when oil starts to build up. And wow, this summer has been incredibly hot! Make sure to diligently apply your sunstick, and let's protect our precious skin together!

It's not sticky at all. I used it during my Jeju trip and it was so good that I used it instead of the sunscreen I brought. It's especially nice when you're sweating since it doesn't feel sticky. * Convenient to use. Being a sun stick, it's definitely easy to apply. * Aloe scent I loved the aloe scent. It didn't seem artificial at all!
Cons* It runs out really quickly. After just a few swipes, it's used up as much as you've applied. I wish there was a larger size available. * Sometimes it pills when you rub it in. The adherence to the skin isn't that great.

When I lifted the cap, there was this natural aloe-like aroma that wafted up - it wasn't artificial at all. I'm not usually a fan of perfumes with synthetic scents, so I was pleasantly surprised that a sunscreen could smell this good! It really hit the spot for me. I think most people would enjoy this fragrance without any complaints. This definitely made a great first impression! Portability: I was intrigued by its compact size when I first received it. It has a nice grip and despite being small, it seems to contain a decent amount of product. Sunscreen needs frequent reapplication, and I always worry about tube-type containers leaking in my bag, but this one seems secure! It's slim and long, making it easy to apply over your face while also being bag-friendly. It takes up almost no space at all and is incredibly lightweight. Once you see it, you'll understand - I think this has the best portability among all the sunscreens I've tried. They didn't just make it small for the sake of portability either; the horizontal design makes application quick and easy, so I didn't find it inconvenient at all. This aspect gets full marks! Waterproof Feature: This would be perfect for water activities! While it might seem too nice to use casually for swimming with its lovely scent and great details, the waterproof feature makes it ideal for places like water parks. When I washed my face, I noticed the water beading up without the product dissolving - pretty cool! Convenience / Dual Use as Primer: I love that it doesn't get on my hands when applying - that's a huge plus! I used to squeeze sunscreen directly onto my face and pat it in with a puff because I hated getting it on my hands, and brushes were too harsh. But with puffs, it was hard to tell how much product was actually on my face, leading to over-application. This applies directly to the face, making it not only convenient but also reassuring about coverage. It seems to save time too! And the fact that it doubles as a primer is amazing! Primers are essential, especially in summer, but layering too many products can cause makeup to slide off. This dual-function product lightens my routine and improves my makeup's staying power - I love it! For reapplication on-the-go, cushion types are handy but can get dirty with sweat, dust, and impurities, potentially causing skin troubles. With this, you can just wipe it clean with a tissue - so convenient! Grip: The grip is fantastic - it fits perfectly in your hand! The slight curve makes it even more comfortable to hold. The cap closes securely too, making it great for travel or keeping in your bag. Skin Appearance: Some sunscreens can make your face look flushed and hot, or overly greasy, but not this one! The stick format applies smoothly and leaves your skin looking natural. Previously, I'd have to cover up with foundation or powder even when I didn't want to wear makeup, but now I can confidently go bare-faced! Though I still use a bit of coverage, I feel comfortable just using a cushion over this, skipping primer thanks to its dual function. Suitable for Thin, Sensitive Skin: Even with my thin, sensitive skin, this worked well! Aloe is known to be gentle and soothing for all skin types, and I think its inclusion helps with hydration and calming. It glides on smoothly without feeling dry or irritating, and unlike some sunscreens that make your skin feel hot, red, and oily in the sun, this one felt much more comfortable. Eco-Friendly Packaging: The shipping box, tape, padding, and product packaging were all made of eco-friendly paper materials! This will be a big plus for those who prioritize environmental consciousness.
ConsWhile it's easy to dispense the sunscreen, it's a bit tricky to retract it. It takes about 2-3 times more turns to put it back in compared to getting it out. This isn't a major issue since you'll be using it more than retracting it, but it could be inconvenient in certain situations. Application on Dry Skin: I have dry skin and dislike stickiness, so I tried applying it with just serum underneath. It didn't spread well at all. However, when I used an emulsion first, it glided on smoothly! Difficulty Retracting the Product: If you don't have any oily products on your skin, it doesn't spread well, so you need to apply something like an emulsion first. The problem is, when your hands are slippery from skincare products, it's hard to retract the sunscreen stick after use. While it's easy to twist up, putting it back in is challenging. There's an inner cap, but it's short, so you really need to fully retract the product to close it properly. This is the most inconvenient aspect. Invisible Application: It applies quickly and easily, even over large areas! However, because it gives such a natural, transparent finish without clumping or whitening, it's hard to tell if you've applied enough. It can be a bit worrying not being able to see it clearly! I just trust the smooth application feeling and hope for the best. I'll update as I use it more! I buy sunscreen every year, and stick types are definitely better than hand application! While it's convenient that it can be used on the body too, I'm not sure yet if it will leave marks on clothes. So far, so good though! I only have photos from when I first received the product as I'm out right now. I really recommend this - it's honestly the best among all the sunscreens I've tried recently!

It truly captures the essence of summer. The vertical stripe design on the plastic container provides an excellent grip. As someone who loves vertical stripes, even in kitchenware, this really appeals to my personal taste! ✔️ Scent: While I don't usually expect fragrances in skincare or makeup products, this one has Nature Republic's signature aloe scent. When applying, it gives the impression that it will soothe tired skin with aloe. The scent is pleasant and subtle, not lingering as long as a perfume would. ✔️ Texture: The formula is so lightweight, you might wonder if you've applied anything at all - there's absolutely no white cast. Surprisingly, it leaves your skin feeling powdery soft. It's delightful how it makes your skin feel like a baby's! With the humid summer and the need to wear masks, this product's powder-like finish makes me want to buy more just for the texture. Plus, it's quite solid, so you won't find it melting away unexpectedly. As someone who can't live without sunscreen sticks, I've gone through countless tubes, and I'm finding myself liking this product more and more as I use it. ✔️ Other features: Notice the contours? They're not just for show. Our faces aren't flat, they have curves - and this stick fits those curves perfectly! I was amazed at how well it conforms. I wouldn't be surprised if other companies start copying this design soon. ✔️ Overall: As a sunstick enthusiast, I always keep a stock and go through multiple tubes. I apply it daily, even if I'm staying home. My sensitive eyes mean I can't use just any product - I've had to throw out quite a few! This doesn't irritate my eyes, and it covers a good amount of skin quickly. The contoured shape makes it easy to apply without having to rub it in too much. With no white cast, it's great for use before or after makeup, and it's not sticky at all. My rating? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I might just repurchase this when I run out! Interestingly, I've been reaching for this more than my usual products for about a week now. I'll keep using it diligently and observe carefully before making a final judgment.
ConsEven with a keen eye, I can't find any flaws in the product itself. If I really had to nitpick, I might worry about the cap potentially breaking easily if rolled around, which could lead to it opening unexpectedly. (This is just a concern because the cap is transparent and pretty, but so far, even the inner cap is still in perfect condition despite frequent use!) Another minor point could be about the fragrance. Some people might dislike aloe or cucumber-like scents. While I personally enjoy it, this product isn't unscented, so there could be some preference issues. It's hard to call this a downside though, as fragrance is always subjective - even the world's best scent would have its critics. That said, I do wonder if they might consider releasing an unscented version of this product.
TipHere's a pro tip: Make good use of those contours when applying! Swipe it across your cheeks, glide it over your nose bridge and sides, sweep it across your forehead, and don't forget your philtrum and chin. You can even apply it to your neck with those contours - you'll be fully protected in no time! This product is great because it doesn't feel sticky even when applied to the back of the neck. Additionally, it's good to apply on the back of your hands and wrists. For drivers, applying to the back of your hands is a must!

Usually, sunsticks are either powdery or moisturizing with an oily feel when applied, but this one feels incredibly soft after application - it's a game-changer! - I have combination skin and typically break out when using products with high oil content, but after continued use, this barely caused any blemishes! - It's completely colorless, with an aloe soothing gel scent that I personally find pleasant! - Not only is it great for the face, but it's also non-sticky when applied to the body - absolutely love it! - The sunstick has a wide surface area, making it easy to apply! (As you can see in the photo, it takes up quite a bit of space when placed on the palm, showing its generous size)
Cons- There were hardly any downsides... If I had to pick one, it might be that some people could find the thick aloe soothing gel scent a bit overwhelming!

I love that it doesn't have that typical sunscreen scent, but instead has a subtle, pleasant fragrance. Best of all, the stick format makes it incredibly convenient to use!
ConsThe one aspect that's both a downside and an upside is how smoothly it applies when you rub it in. It's so gentle that it's hard to tell the difference between before and after application!
TipSince the stick covers a wide area, make sure to apply it thoroughly for complete protection!

Unlike other sunstick products I've tried before, which claimed to be non-sticky but still left an oily or tacky feeling, this one truly finishes with a soft, velvety touch. Despite the powdery finish, I didn't experience any dryness, which was great for the summer season. The scent is a fresh aloe fragrance, not overpowering or harsh like some cosmetics, so it wasn't an issue during use.
ConsThe size of the stick felt a bit too large for comfortable facial application. I experienced some minor blemishes after use. While it could be coincidental and I'll need to use it more to be sure, I hadn't had any recent skin issues until a couple of small bumps and pimples appeared after using this product. It also tends to cause some eye irritation, so those with sensitive eyes should be cautious. It's a shame because aside from the blemishes and eye sensitivity, I really enjoyed this powdery sunstick.
TipFor even application, apply the sunstick over a large area, then use your hands to spread it out thoroughly.
