ConsIt doesn't spread well. There's a bit of a greasy feeling, and I have to use my hands to finish applying it after putting it on, which is a bit of a hassle.

ConsIt runs out too quickly haha... You have to bring two when you go on a trip. And since the absorption is not immediate, when I wear black clothes, it gets all over them in a white mess, ugh.

ConsHowever, it doesn't feel like it's absorbed into the skin, but rather sits on top, so when my arms touch the desk while working, it slips and slides around ㅠㅠ!!

It has a slightly noticeable weight compared to stick sunscreens. It has a faint, refreshing aloe scent. - Regular sunscreens need to be squeezed onto the hands and then applied to the face, which inevitably leaves a sticky residue on the hands. But the Nature Republic Sun Stick can be directly applied without getting the hands messy! It's really convenient and easy to carry around! - The stick is curved, making it a bit more comfortable to apply on the face. - The application is smooth without disturbing the skin care layer underneath. When applied alone after skincare, the product spreads well and leaves no white cast.
Cons- It doesn't seem to have great absorption. After applying, foundation felt like it was sitting on top of the skin. When using powdery cosmetics like eyeshadow or powder, they tended to clump up. - The oiliness seems to build up over time. As time passes, the greasiness increases significantly, so it may not be suitable for those with extremely oily skin. - It may be a bit irritating. Although I've only used it for a week, the skin on my cheeks seemed to become more sensitive and flushed. It's not recommended for those with very sensitive skin.
Tip- It's recommended to allow sufficient time for the product to absorb before applying makeup, rather than applying it right before makeup.

I felt that it was a necessary product, especially on hot days like these. When I applied it, I felt a light, film-like layer that protected my skin, and I didn't experience any skin troubles or worsening of skin condition, so I felt it was gentle. The product applies very thinly and transparently.
ConsIf you dislike sticky products, you should avoid this one! As I mentioned in the positives, it forms a thin film, but because of that, I personally felt like it sat on top of my skin rather than being absorbed. It didn't have the soft, powdery feel that the name suggests. So I use it more on my body than my face. And since it's a sun stick, it seems to be used up quickly... About a week in, I've already used around 1/5 of it.

The texture is exactly as described - incredibly soft and slightly creamy. That's probably why the protective cap came with the sunstick slightly attached to it.🥲 When applied, it feels very soft but has a slight oily feel? It's not completely slippery, though. And as for whether it pills under makeup, I'm not sure since I haven't been wearing much makeup lately..!! The scent is like soothing gel? Cucumber? It has a rather mysterious aroma. I'm not a huge fan, but I don't dislike it either - it's just usable. However, those sensitive to scents or who dislike cucumber may not enjoy it. The curved shape also makes it easy to apply, and the lack of white cast is great! But after checking the ingredients on Hwahae, it seems they're not the best, so I'll probably use this more for my body.
ConsThe scent and ingredients seem a bit disappointing. And when I apply the sunstick, it doesn't feel like it's absorbing into the skin, but rather sitting on top? It has a slightly slippery feel.🥲
TipThe photos below are all taken after applying the sunstick!

However, the annoying part is that when you open the product, the middle cap remains attached to the lid, so you have to remove it.😅 And as the name 'Aloe Vera Soft Sun Stick' suggests, it's moisturizing but powdery. It's moisturizing when applied, but the moisture disappears quickly, leaving a powdery finish. So if you apply it thinly, there's no stickiness at all and it feels lightweight. The scent is quite strong, with a prominent aloe vera smell. I personally like the aloe vera scent, but those sensitive to fragrances may not be able to use it.
ConsThe most disappointing part was the eye irritation. After about 2-3 hours of applying it, my eyes started to sting quite a bit. I tried changing up my skincare routine and using it a couple more times, but the eye irritation made me unable to use it on my face after that. And it doesn't absorb into the skin well, leaving a greasy feeling on the surface of the skin, making my face look oily. Also, while it doesn't feel sticky when applied thinly, it does have a noticeable sticky feeling if you apply multiple layers.
TipI don't think I can use this on my face, but I think it would work well as a body product! It's easy to apply, and the best part is that you don't have to spread it with your hands.

My skin type is oily and combination. The T-zone and nasolabial folds are at a genetic level ㅜㅜ The number one priority in sunscreen selection is definitely a matte finish. I mainly use Cla*ss and Doc*or. Spreadability Since it's a stick type, it's easy and convenient to apply on the face and body. I have a few freckles and blemishes on my cheeks, so I tend to apply sunscreen very thoroughly. I find it great that I can evenly cover the areas around my cheekbones and nose. The stick itself is quite firm, so even after applying several layers, it doesn't get clumpy or slide around. Yet, it's not overly thick and spreads smoothly, so the spreadability is satisfactory. The firmness means it doesn't run out quickly, and I can swipe it on repeatedly. Fragrance This is something that may divide opinions. The aloe scent is very strong and pronounced. It's like applying a generous amount of aloe vera soothing gel. The fragrance is very noticeable upon application and lingers for quite a few hours. Personally, I don't find it particularly pleasing or unpleasant, but those sensitive to fragrances may find it bothersome. It would be better if the scent was a bit more subtle. Portability Absolutely fantastic. The size is just right. It fits comfortably in the hand. However, the amount seems quite generous. There's a silicone-like cap inside the lid, which allows for hygienic and neat opening and closing. It's well-made to prevent any mess or clumping. The design is slightly dated, but it's perfect for carrying around and reapplying. This is probably the biggest advantage. Efficacy I haven't used it long enough, only 2 weeks, to see significant effects. But so far, it's been easy to apply and convenient to carry around. That seems to be the product's greatest strength! I can confidently reapply it whenever sweat wipes it off, without worrying about sun exposure. When I'm not wearing makeup, this alone is enough to take care of my sun protection needs. Swiping it on here and there is the best! So if applied thoroughly, the efficacy should be good.
ConsThe biggest downside is that it doesn't suit my combination skin type... As someone who prefers a matte finish, this product just makes my oily T-zone even greasier ㅜㅜ It's not extremely sticky, but after application, it doesn't really sink in and just sits on the surface of my skin. That slightly shimmery feeling when first applied remains for hours. The shiny parts on the back of my hand stay that way even after some time. Luckily, it doesn't cause any breakouts. On days when I don't wear makeup, I just have to accept that part and slather it on for sun protection purposes. I think this product would be more suitable for dry skin types. And as a pure sunscreen, it has zero coverage or whitening effects. My freckles remain completely uncovered. In the end, this product is a pass for my combination skin. I'll likely use it to protect my body going forward. Since it's waterproof, I'll keep this with me during outdoor activities this summer to provide full-body sun protection. I think I can get good use out of it throughout the summer season without any issues with quantity or functionality.

With sunscreens that have a white cast, the makeup can sometimes look unnatural if not absorbed properly, but this one doesn't have that issue so the makeup looks natural. ❗️It's convenient! It takes much less time and is more efficient compared to applying regular sunscreen. ❗️The waterproof feature is a big advantage. As summer is just starting, it's great that it doesn't run off from sweat. ❗️The cap doesn't open easily, so it's good for carrying around. Products with caps that open easily can make a mess in the bag, but this one won't open unexpectedly in the bag.
Cons‼️ When I applied the sunstick, I felt like it was sitting on top of my skin rather than sinking in. It felt like there was a lot of oil in the product. ‼️ The aloe and cucumber scent lingers for a long time! The smell isn't unpleasant, but with the mask on, the scent stays around for a while. ‼️ Compared to regular sunscreen, it feels less hygienic. Since it's a stick, any dust that sticks to the skin can also transfer to the product, which is a bit concerning.
TipYou need to pat it a few times with your palm after applying to make it more powdery! Otherwise, it can look oily and greasy on the skin. The first photo is after applying, and the second photo is after patting it with my palm.
