Ugh... I usually couldn't use most sunscreens because they would sting my eyes and cause me to break out in acne. But I felt the need to use one, so I searched and found that ethylhexyl is the cause of the eye stinging. I found a few products without this ingredient (like the Dr.G Calming Up Sun Stick) and bought them. To just list the downsides: Since I have dry skin, I layer my skincare very thoroughly. Even then, there is no tightness at all. But when I applied this product, it felt slightly warm for about 30 minutes, and then my forehead started itching intensely... I thought I was going crazy. After about 10 minutes, it settled down. I suspect there was some kind of conflict with my sweat. But after that, my face felt as dry as a piece of jerky, to the point that it was difficult to open my eyes. This was different from the eye stinging. My face felt so parched that I immediately wiped it off as soon as I got home... Even with my thorough skincare, this happened... I really don't have the courage to try it again, it was so punishing and uncomfortable.

Pros
My oily skin used to get shiny and difficult to apply sunscreen just half a day after cleansing, but this product controls the sebum well without any white cast, which I really liked.

There's really nothing here. It's not even mild, it's sticky and oily - those who like that might like it... But there's no white cast. It's strong in water, but it clumps.
