Absorbs well. Doesn't sting the eyes.
ConsSigh... I couldn't use most sunscreens before due to eye irritation and acne. However, feeling the need, I researched and learned that ethylhexyl ingredients cause eye stinging. So I bought a few without this ingredient (Dr. G Calming Up Sun Stick?). Let me get straight to the downsides. I have dry skin, so I apply a thorough skincare routine. Usually, this prevents any tightness. But after applying this product, about 30 minutes later when I felt a bit warm, my forehead started itching like crazy... I thought I'd go mad from the itching. It subsided after about 10 minutes. I suspect it might be some reaction with sweat. But afterwards, my face felt as if I'd put it in front of a heater - extremely parched. Even my eyes felt so dry it was hard to keep them open. This was different from eye stinging. It felt like my face was turning into dried squid. I rushed home and washed it off immediately... Even with a solid skincare base, this happened. It's so drying that I don't have the courage to try it again...
Tip...For those who want to become mummies... or those with oily skin? People with skin like an oasis... might find this sunscreen beneficial. The absorption is top-notch, though...

Until now, I only used sunscreens and cosmetics that had zero red flags on the Hwahae app, but this product changed my perspective. Second, it has a soft, powdery texture. When I first tested this product at a cosmetics store, I was amazed - I'd never experienced a sunscreen with this kind of texture before. Third, it doesn't irritate the eyes. I have very sensitive eyes, so I always consider eye irritation when choosing cosmetics. This product caused no discomfort at all. Fourth, it's not sticky. My skin is dehydrated underneath but oily on the surface, so I usually avoid sticky products. I'm using this now in summer, and it's not sticky at all - my skin feels soft and smooth to the touch.
ConsIf there's one downside, it's that the price is a bit high. Other than that, no complaints.
TipWhether it's summer or winter, make sure to apply sunscreen 365 days a year! It's even beneficial for those with acne-prone skin!

It doesn't irritate my eyes at all.
ConsA few hours after application, it feels a bit drying. Surprisingly, this happens even though I don't have dry skin.

Absorbs beautifully into the skin 2. Doesn't cause any eye irritation 3. It's so gentle that it doesn't cause any blemishes
Cons1. I'm looking for a sunscreen that doesn't whiten my face at all... I didn't like how it made my face look lighter (though it's not a white cast)

The absorbs well is great... True to its 'mild' name, there was no skin irritation or eye stinging (may vary individually).
ConsWhile it absorbs well, the finish isn't great. It's too rich to use as the final step after sunscreen. There's an immediate feeling of dryness and a slightly heavy sensation. Usually, sunscreens are either matte or moisturizing with some richness, but this product is dry yet oily, making your face feel very uncomfortable.
TipYou can cover your whole face with less product than expected. If you use the same amount as you would with a typical cream-type sunscreen, it'll be way too much... Using about half the amount of other sunscreens seems to be just right.

I highly recommend it to those who suffer from eye irritation.
ConsI think my skin started to deteriorate rapidly after using this, even though I don't use it daily. The ingredients might not be as gentle as claimed. All my current skincare products have zero harmful ingredients, so my skin doesn't usually worsen suddenly. While it's not acne, I was shocked by how many blemishes appeared on my face. Also, I didn't get that powdery-soft feeling after application. It's more like there's a slight oily layer on my skin. I wouldn't recommend this to those with super sensitive skin like mine!

No eye irritation I used to use Biore sunscreen when I had dry skin, and if I accidentally applied it near my eyes, I'd be tearing up all day... This product causes absolutely no eye irritation! 2. Water-like texture Some people prefer thicker formulas, but I like products that spread thinly on the face. When I squeeze the right amount onto the back of my hand and apply it with my fingers, it spreads thinly, so my skin doesn't feel suffocated - I love it! 3. Matte finish I tend to sweat a lot, so in summer, sunscreen would always make my face melt off. But with this product, although it feels a bit oily at first, it finishes matte, so there's no worry about the sunscreen coming off! I have slightly dry to normal skin, and I didn't feel like it was too drying.
Cons1. Initially feels very oily I know I said it was matte, but when you first apply it, it's incredibly oily... If you don't like oil, please check the tip below. 2. Wicked price The price... Let's just say it's steep...
TipMake sure to shake it well before use. When I first used it without shaking, it came out as an oil+powder mixture. Also, if you don't like the oiliness, after applying the sunscreen, take a tissue and gently pat it over your face.

However, I was pleasantly surprised! There's absolutely no eye irritation or unpleasant scent, and it feels refreshing on the skin. Great choice! It has a skin-like texture that's non-sticky and easy to apply.
ConsAs someone with dry skin, I noticed a slight dryness when using it in winter. There's also a tiny bit of product leakage around the opening, but it's not an issue if stored properly.
TipFor those concerned about dryness, make sure to have a solid skincare routine and you should be fine! After reviewing various sunscreens, I've found that Anessa seems to cause fewer side effects like blemishes, redness, or irritation. That's why I picked it too!

More like ultra-hydrating! No eye irritation whatsoever
ConsIt's on the oily side, giving a distinct slippery feeling When applied before makeup, that slipperiness prevents good adherence
TipThis seems like it would only be suitable for the depths of winter

Anessa truly excels at sun protection! My skin tends to develop blemishes easily when I use sunscreen. Especially with CHA:LAB sunscreens, my whole face would break out. That's why I'm very careful when choosing. With this one, I've been blemish-free for 6 months!
ConsI apply a light moisturizer, then this Anessa Mild Sunscreen, followed by foundation. However, the foundation doesn't adhere well. It feels slippery, and my makeup seems to slide off.
TipThis would be great for those who only wear sunscreen or prefer light makeup.
