I liked that it wasn't greasy and was quite gentle on the skin. Anessa is famous for their sunscreens, so I trust its sun protection ability. I was disappointed by the alcohol smell, and having to shake it before use was a bit inconvenient. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedJul 27, 2022
It absorbs well and doesn't leave a heavy white cast, so I've been using a bottle every year. It's difficult to cleanse off completely. Unless you use something as strong as Senka, it doesn't feel thoroughly clean. - we************Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 9, 2022
The scent isn't unpleasant, but it might be polarizing. While there's some white cast, it's manageable if applied properly. When applied, it definitely feels like you've put on a product rather than feeling lightweight. There's also a slightly oily sensation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 2, 2022
It absorbs really lightly and feels hydrating, yet leaves the skin surface feeling soft and velvety It tends to produce a bit too much excess oil, and when makeup starts to break down, it clumps up quite badly - lh******Dry SkinAcne SkinJul 1, 2022
Almost no white cast! Absorbs well. Doesn't sting the eyes. Sigh... I couldn't use most sunscreens before due to eye irritation and acne. However, feeling the need, I researched and learned that ethylhexyl ingredients cause eye stinging. So I bought a few without this ingredient (Dr. G Calming Up Sun Stick?). Let me get straight to the downsides. I have dry skin, so I apply a thorough skincare routine. Usually, this prevents any tightness. But after applying this product, about 30 minutes later when I felt a bit warm, my forehead started itching like crazy... I thought I'd go mad from the itching. It subsided after about 10 minutes. I suspect it might be some reaction with sweat. But afterwards, my face felt as if I'd put it in front of a heater - extremely parched. Even my eyes felt so dry it was hard to keep them open. This was different from eye stinging. It felt like my face was turning into dried squid. I rushed home and washed it off immediately... Even with a solid skincare base, this happened. It's so drying that I don't have the courage to try it again... ...For those who want to become mummies... or those with oily skin? People with skin like an oasis... might find this sunscreen beneficial. The absorption is top-notch, though... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJun 25, 2022
It applies smoothly without any white cast, making it easy to use The price seems a bit high compared to other similar products - br******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 21, 2022
This is the sunscreen I've used the most. Above all, it provides powerful UV protection and doesn't cause any blemishes on my skin. That's why I've stuck with it for so long. It's my go-to sunscreen for summer. It worked well when I was younger, but as I've gotten older, it feels a bit drying. Since the formula absorbs quickly and leaves a matte finish, it's best to apply a good moisturizer underneath. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2022
It controls excess oil on the face effectively. The UV protection is excellent. It brightens and evens out the complexion nicely. For those with oily skin, this product seems unbeatable. Being a Japanese product, there's a slight uneasiness about using it. I've tried other products, but I always end up coming back to this one... It's a bit of a dilemma. - 12*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 5, 2021
Reliable sun protection, quick and easy application, no eye irritation. The Mild Milk Sky Blue version might be better for combination dehydrated skin during seasonal changes, though it can feel a bit dry for oily skin types. The texture seems more about the formulation than providing moisture. After application, skin types other than oily might feel quite dry. This unique formulation subtly helps improve skin texture. It reminds me of using the Mild Milk Sky Blue version. - a0**********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedNov 4, 2021
First off, I didn't buy this with my own money - I received it as a freebie at a concert. Initially, I didn't use it much because it felt too oily. But after giving it another shot later, I've really fallen in love with the formula! The Hwahae Testers would appreciate: 🖤 Texture At first application, it might seem overly oily and runny, making you think it's too rich. But once you spread it out, it becomes completely matte! It leaves your skin feeling velvety smooth, creating a really clean complexion. 🖤 Brightening Effect This is perfect for those who don't wear makeup or need a good base. It gives a subtle brightening effect that makes your skin look fresh and clean! (It's not overly white, more like it evens skin tone nicely) 🖤 Staying Power While I can't speak to its UV protection longevity, I can rave about how long the brightening effect lasts! It's seriously impressive - it works hard all day long! For example, if you apply it at 7 AM, it stays put until about 6-7 PM. If you love a brightening effect, I highly recommend this! 🤍 Scent Honestly, don't expect much in terms of fragrance. It just smells like alcohol, really... If you're sensitive to scents, you might want to skip this one... I always pat products into my skin for better absorption. With this sunscreen, avoid applying too thick a layer - it's not beneficial. If you have time, try dispensing small amounts and gently patting it in for better adherence and longer-lasting effects!
