The UV protection is excellent. It brightens and evens out the complexion nicely. For those with oily skin, this product seems unbeatable.
ConsBeing a Japanese product, there's a slight uneasiness about using it. I've tried other products, but I always end up coming back to this one... It's a bit of a dilemma.

It's not sticky at all. Among the sunscreens I've tried, this one probably has the best absorption.
ConsI was so exhausted that I passed out without removing it... The next day, my skin reacted badly, and now I'm seeing a dermatologist. While it's my fault for not removing it, I'm upset that my once-decent skin has become problematic since then. Please make sure to thoroughly cleanse before bed. The scars from that incident are still visible. As I have super sensitive skin, I plan to try a different sunscreen once this is finished. I wouldn't really recommend this...

Natural brightening effect. Unique texture - feels rich yet surprisingly lightweight and silky-smooth. Seems to be Anessa's proprietary technology. Incomparable to Korean sunscreens. Simply the best. No words needed. Just buy it, seriously. No, don't buy it. It's my secret. Actually, do buy it... Please buy it... This sunscreen turns me into a Jekyll and Hyde... That's Anessa for you. What's so great about it, you ask? 1. How it absorbs 2. Innovative texture 3. Natural, beautiful skin finish! Superior sunscreen from every angle. I used to reluctantly use that mediocre Innisfree from the corner store, but I've finally found the prince of sunscreens. I've been extremely stressed about dead skin cells showing up on my nose whenever I applied various sunscreens (partly because I applied them on bare skin). I thought it was just my skin's fault. Like blaming myself when dating the wrong guy, I'd given up, thinking the problem was me. Then I met this Mercedes. Carelessly slathering it on, I thought, 'Huh? No pilling? I'm not easy to please, but let's give it a shot.' Wow! It's like a Photoshop blur effect - silky yet natural skin texture! It confidently embraces flaws as if they're no big deal, with this bold inclusivity and stability! It's a perfect match! All the losers I've dated before nitpicked every little thing, but this... I'm so happy. After all this time, I've found my prince. I realize now I've been a frog in a well. Maybe there's even a Lamborghini out there... Anessa gives me this reassurance and excitement of facing a whole new world. Long live the prince!
ConsThe price, that's the downside. Being Japanese, it seems to cost more due to shipping and import fees. But it's worth it. Having tasted the flavor of quality, I feel like I've crossed a river of no return. Level up!

(It didn't create any excess oil.)
ConsWhile it did leave my skin feeling matte, it also felt a bit dry. The dryness caused some minor blemishes to appear.
TipIt's probably best to apply this after thoroughly moisturizing your skin.

Then I heard Anessa products were good for oily skin, so I gave them a try. My goodness, it doesn't feel greasy at all, absorbs well, and even provides a nice brightening effect. I've been using it ever since and plan to continue using it in the future.
ConsThe main drawback might be that it's a bit pricey for a sunscreen.

I received it as a gift after finishing my previous products... and I'm still using the same bottle after several months! In the past couple of years, I've experienced skin flare-ups once a year, so this year I've been going out with just sunscreen and no makeup. This product impressed me with its clean application and slight brightening effect, which was perfect for someone who doesn't wear makeup. I used to need oil blotting papers in the afternoon, but with this product, that wasn't necessary. Occasionally, depending on my skin condition, it would fade or darken a bit in the afternoon, but that's just day-to-day variation. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the product's performance!
ConsBeing a Japanese product, I couldn't help but have concerns about the ingredients. I received it as a gift and planned to use just this one bottle and stop, but the spread of the boycott movement makes me think I don't really need to use this product anymore.
TipMake sure to shake well before use. It might not be suitable for those with very dry skin. The product has a strong pore-covering effect which might feel a bit heavy for some.

If you don't shake it, it comes out watery and can cause dead skin cells to pill on your face. I thought I'd made a mistake buying it, but I just hadn't shaken it enough. It has a powdery finish that leaves your face feeling fresh with a slight brightening effect, but without any white cast. There's no stickiness, making it perfect for summer use.
ConsI don't have any complaints about the product itself, but there's only a sticker with the expiration date on it. Since I usually throw away the packaging box right away, I only realized I was using it incorrectly after seeing the Japanese instructions saying to shake well to mix the two types of ingredients.

It's perfect for quick outings when you don't want to wear full makeup. โ๏ธ Blemishes: While it may feel a bit heavy on the skin, it doesn't cause any breakouts.
Consโ๏ธ Skin tone: It does brighten the complexion by a shade, but it doesn't look natural. It's as if you've just slapped on a white cream, making your skin appear artificially pale. โ๏ธ Fragrance: It has a strong cosmetic scent that's quite overpowering. I prefer products with minimal fragrance for my skin, so the intense smell was off-putting during use. โ๏ธ Rich feeling: It feels somewhat powdery yet slippery at the same time. If I had to describe it, it's like applying a mixture of powder and oil. After using this product, I realized it's possible to feel both dry and oily simultaneously. The sensation is really unpleasant. It's not a cream type. The texture is rather thin, but the application feel is poor. I bought this to try something new after finishing my previous product. I'd heard good things about Shiseido sunscreens, but everything from the texture to the rich feeling is disappointing. It's not even cheap, so while I forced myself to use it, I wouldn't buy it again even if it were less expensive.

I'm so happy it didn't make my eyes water profusely. The application is nice. It absorbs well, quickly sinking into the skin and leaving it looking neat. It has a slight primer-like effect and also helps even out skin tone.
ConsFor me, the texture feels... powdery, like there's powder particles rolling around. It's a bit unsettling. When layering, you can feel the little granules, which makes it difficult to apply multiple layers. On days when my skin isn't at its best, foundation tends to slide off and easily rub away when applied over this.
TipMake sure to cleanse well. It tends to pill if you've applied too much cream beforehand. You should apply it after your skincare has been somewhat absorbed.
