If there is a feeling of heat on the face, it is considered flushed skin, so it is important to lower the heat. But when you do it once in a while, the skin feels refreshed, so it's still good! The next day, you feel like your makeup applies well!!

Although this is not my own purchase, I decided to leave a review just for fun. When you first apply it, it feels a bit cool, and right after application it's lukewarm, but after 1-2 minutes, it feels like your skin is glowing intensely, like a pain relief patch. This is an area where opinions may differ, so you should research it well before purchasing. The price is not exactly cheap, so I'm a bit hesitant about buying it again after using it up. These days, my skin has been in turmoil because of masks... sensitive skin.. I was very curious about this product, so after reading the Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I decided to purchase and try it! Before using, I stored it in the refrigerator, then washed my face and applied the mask. It was so cool, almost to the point of feeling painful and chilling... but my skin felt so plump and bouncy! It didn't dry out over time and stayed refreshing the whole time!! I let the essence absorb, then applied my cream and went to sleep. When I woke up, the redness and blemishes had subsided... My skin became smooth, and my makeup applied beautifully in the morning. Even though I don't use it every day, I think using it 3 times a week with the temperature lowered will be great! There are a lot of ampoules inside, so I applied the leftover ampoule on top of the mask as well.
Cons
The only downside is that you shouldn't go out in the wind after applying the mask... your face will get extremely chilled.. Haha

Here is my honest review after participating as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer! My skin type is extremely dry in the winter, with my skin even cracking around my nose. When I apply products with oil before makeup, my skin tone becomes darker and it quickly becomes irritated and stinging, so I almost daily use a gentle pack or toner pack. I was both worried and excited about trying a cooling mask, but I will write an honest review to help those with similar skin types. What I liked: 1. It lowered my skin temperature! I had never tried a product that lowers skin temperature, so I was worried, but after applying the pack and gently removing the tackiness with water, the redness that usually appears when I do my skincare routine has calmed down. Honestly, this was really amazing to me. I always struggle with redness and peeling skin (my epidermis flakes off in the winter) when doing my skincare, but this was one of the top 3 packs I've tried. That's why I realized that having a cool face is important for makeup to apply well. And for those of you who get flushed in the evenings after removing your makeup, you should definitely try this. I used it in the evenings when the redness was worse, and after the pack and applying a light moisturizer, the flushing calmed down and the heat on my face went away! 2. Adherence Other packs can be a hassle to unfold and apply, but this one has a mesh that makes it easy to spread out. This small detail made me very satisfied using it. And when I peeled it off with the mesh, it barely damaged the mask and stuck well to my skin. I even did some yoga and it didn't fall off, which was very convenient. 3. Mask sheet Compared to other products, there was no pilling, which I liked. My skin is sensitive, so pilling in packs can be irritating, but this pack had no pilling and was just clean and nice. I saw in other reviews that people said the essence amount was lacking, but personally I don't prefer products that just drip all over. I thought the product had enough essence in it. If you don't like essence dripping down to your chin or ears, you might want to try this out!

1. Mask size I thought I was the only one, but the lower part of the mask seems to be a bit small, even for the eyes. The forehead and nose area fit well, but the eyes and mouth area were a bit too small and would sometimes get in my eyes or mouth when I applied the mask. Bummer. (Please refer to the last photo!) 2. Eye irritation It seems like all Hwahae products cause some eye irritation. The adherence was good everywhere except around my eyes. Since I have wider-set eyes, the mask sheet would touch the corners of my eyes and cause a stinging sensation. Be careful with that! 3. Tingling sensation It feels like diluting toothpaste in water and applying it. It feels refreshing and nice after taking it off, but about 10 minutes later, the tingling sensation from the actives kicks in. For those with extremely sensitive skin, it would be better to apply a moisturizing cream or serum first, and then use the mask.
Tip
The combination of a moisturizer (or serum) and the cooling mask pack leaves your face looking radiant the next day!!!!

My skin is so sensitive that I only use products labeled as gentle, but even then, my skin has often become irritated. Also, my redness is so severe that even when I apply makeup, the redness still shows through when I'm in front of a heater or when I come inside from the cold wind.😂 I've always thought that cooling products would be too irritating, so I've never used them before. But since I was selected for the Hwahae trial, I decided to try it out! ⭐️Here's what I experienced using the First Cooling Mask: ⭐️There was absolutely no irritation or redness at all!❗️ ⭐️I felt the cooling sensation as soon as I applied the mask, and it lasted for about 30 minutes even after removing the mask. The cooling effect felt more like putting a refrigerated mask on my face, rather than a harsh, stinging sensation. ⭐️I liked that the essence was fully absorbed into the sheet mask. Compared to other masks, this one seemed to have more essence absorbed into the sheet, making the mask feel quite substantial when applied to my face. ⭐️I appreciated that the essence absorbed quickly. This is a personal preference, but I like masks that absorb quickly, and this one didn't leave a sticky residue on my skin.

✔Cooling Sensation It really lives up to its name haha. The cooling sensation of this cooling mask is just incredible. When you put the mask in the fridge and then apply it to your face, the cooling sensation lasts from start to finish! And even after removing the mask, the cooling effect lingers for a long time. It seems to really lower the skin temperature itself👏👏 ✔Adherence Oh my, the adherence is just so good. The sheet itself isn't that thin, but it clings so snugly to the skin that you can move around comfortably without it falling off!! Masks with poor adherence make you stay still because you're worried they'll fall off, but with this one, you don't have to worry about it falling off at all👍 ✔Effectiveness Since I have a tendency towards flushing, my skin temperature goes down and the flushing subsides after using this mask! So when I do my makeup after using this mask, it just applies so well ㅠㅠ If you have an important appointment, doing this mask before makeup can give you that flawless complexion!

The box has perforated lines for easy storage. I took it out of the refrigerator and stuck it on, and at first I was like 'Huh..? It's not that cold??' but after a little while, I could feel it getting colder and colder. It really does get colder and colder haha. It's great for lowering skin temperature. The pack is incredibly moisturizing. As my skin was lacking moisture the more it got cold, after using this pack and going to bed, my skin became very moisturized. The remaining essence also absorbed quickly after removing the pack.
Cons
Personally, the texture was a bit sticky. And it gets so cold that my face actually felt stinging cold..haha The nose, mouth, and eye holes seem smaller than other products. The mask pack touched the corner of my eyes a bit, and after about 15-20 minutes, my eyes started to sting and hurt a little...
Tip
There's a mesh-like protective film, and when you press the pack on, this mesh creates a bubbly, foamy effect. If you don't re-press the pack after removing the mesh, the bubbles remain, and personally, I felt these bubbles helped more in lowering the skin temperature.

🐳This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review🐳 I have the type of skin that often has pimples, acne, and various allergies. When I put the mask on after keeping it slightly in the refrigerator, it felt wonderfully cool! If your skin suddenly gets irritated, this would be great to quickly soothe it... Of course, my skin wasn't irritated in the winter when I used it! But during the time I used it, my skin felt moisturized and good.

The moment I put the mask on my face, I felt something strange... Huh? What is this... While it's true that my chin is a bit short, it just didn't fit my chin at all 😢 The mouth hole was too small, so I felt uncomfortable the whole time. The cooling sensation is too strong, making my eyes feel irritated. I wonder if I'm just sensitive? Also, the sheet mask shape doesn't fit me well at all. * My skin is combination (oily T-zone, dry cheeks) + flushed cheeks First of all, the name itself says 'Cooling', so the cooling sensation is really great!!!! It's more of a refreshing sensation like applying a medicated ointment, rather than an icy coldness. The more you use the pack, the longer the cooling effect lasts even after removing it! And the texture is best described as slightly bouncy overall. Rather than being soaked in essence like other packs, it has a rich ampoule-like consistency. So those with dry skin who want an immediate moisturizing effect may find it slightly lacking. When you peel off the pack, it's like 'Whoosh!' and your face feels tightened. Unlike other packs, there's not much essence left on the face, and it doesn't take long for the remaining residue to be absorbed. Plus, the redness and flushing are significantly reduced, and the cooling sensation lasts even after removal, so I'd recommend this to those with redness issues! The hydration level was sufficient for me, but those with severely dry skin may find it slightly lacking.
