It's really refreshing. Even 30 minutes later, I can still feel the cooling sensation on my face. It was stored at room temperature.
Cons
I applied this and let it fully absorb, then put on a mineral sunscreen. But it came off like dirt... Ugh, I can only use it in the evenings. 🥲

I'm not quite sure... For those who are not sensitive, the cooling sensation might be fine. As for me with sensitive skin, it felt like applying toothpaste on my face, which startled me at first. However, my skin didn't get red or irritated. While using it, I was debating whether to remove it because it bothered me so much. The finish wasn't overly sticky, and it did feel refreshing.

It just spreads everywhere, all over my face and hands. It's a mess, like a peeling gel. Definitely don't use this in the morning. I wish the cloth wasn't there - it makes it harder for the mask to adhere to the face. Also, the mask is too big, covering more area than needed.

🌿This is a review of the Hwahae Trial Reviewer! The best part was the cooling effect. I have sensitive dry skin and my skin tends to get flushed easily. I've used a lot of sheet masks in my life, but I've never come across a product that cools the skin as well as this one. It truly lives up to its name as a 'Cooling Mask'. Usually, when I put sheet masks in the fridge and then use them, they start off very cold but then become lukewarm after a while. But with this mask, even without refrigerating it, my skin stayed refreshed and cool for a long time after application. I was really amazed by this!😀 I used the mask when my skin condition was not great, and the heat and irritation just melted away, leaving my skin soothed. I think people with skin that tends to get heated up like mine would really enjoy this! Also, I have sensitive skin, and using the wrong products can lead to puffiness, itchiness, and redness the next day. But with this product, I didn't experience any issues at all, either immediately after use or the next day. The ingredients must be very gentle.😊 Personally, I would definitely continue using this even if I had to pay for it.

Even those with prominent cheekbones can use it comfortably. (Seems suitable for men as well) It's a double-layered mask, with the cotton side attached to the face and the mesh layer peeled off. This makes it easy to remove without touching the mask much. The essence has a rich, creamy texture, so it doesn't drip down while wearing and doing other activities. I have atopic, sensitive dry skin. My current skin condition As the weather gets warmer, my skin is shifting from dry to combination. In other words, the products I've been using don't feel as good anymore. It's the seasonal change, so my skin is quite unsettled. Objective user experience This mask seems to focus on lowering skin temperature and soothing. So I had some expectations for it. Essence amount The essence itself is not too thin, but it doesn't look like there's an excessive amount either. However, the essence feels very dense and concentrated, so even though it doesn't look like a lot, the sheet is thoroughly soaked in it. And unlike regular essences, if there's leftover essence, it feels a bit odd to apply it elsewhere. Soothing effect The first thing I thought when I put this mask on was 'Wow, this is really calming.' For sensitive people, 'calming' may feel more like 'unsettling' than pleasant. I thought the same, but after waking up, I realized that 'calming' isn't always bad. I used this product before bed, and the stubborn pimple on my forehead seemed soothed, and my overall skin texture also improved a bit. So the soothing part is a thumbs up! Does it suit your skin? Of course it was great. It calmed my skin well, and my skin felt a bit less dry overall. And interestingly, there's a mesh on top of the sheet, and when you peel that off, there are tons of bubbles on the sheet.
