The fragrance is also quite pleasant. It would be better to use it occasionally rather than daily, as it seems more beneficial for the scalp!!
ConsIf you don't control the fermentation well, it all just flows out. So it feels like you're using it up really quickly.

You can definitely feel its cooling effect when your scalp heats up. On days I use this product, there's less oil buildup on my hair. My hair feels less greasy and doesn't get weighed down as much. It also seems to delay that scalp odor for about half a day, based on my experience. Even when I wash my hair at night and touch my scalp in the morning, I can hardly detect any smell. Above all, I love the scent the most. Although the product name mentions vinegar, it doesn't have any sour smell at all. Instead, it has a fresh, invigorating aroma. The refreshing scent lingers long after you've washed and dried your hair. Its fragrance lasts longer than most shampoos or treatments.
ConsI wish they had made the container opening narrower. As it is, it's difficult to pour onto the scalp without it running down your face, which is inconvenient. Because it's so effective at removing scalp oil, the hairline area can get dry and occasionally itchy. It's a bit too harsh for daily use. Also, the price is surprisingly high.
TipIt seems the cheapest time to buy is when Olive Young has their 1+1 deals.

ConsThe watery, runny texture makes it a bit tricky to dispense and use directly in your hands
TipFor easier application, try transferring it to a foam dispenser bottle from Daiso. It comes out like a foam toner, making it convenient to apply directly to the scalp and rinse off

It's fantastic for eliminating that unpleasant scalp odor from my husband. Highly recommended!
ConsThe only downside is that it tends to run a bit too easily. That's why I've started using it with a foaming dispenser!
TipYou can get a foaming dispenser for just $2 at Daiso!

It adds a refreshing feel without any burning sensation, making for a satisfying experience. Noticeable effects - In summer, everything can feel unpleasant, especially the thought of odor from your scalp or greasy hair is irritating. After using this product, those feelings significantly decrease. It's a product I bring out every summer. If we compare it to facial care, shampoo would be like a cleansing foam, and this hair vinegar feels like a toner. Just as you'd use toner to refine your skin after cleansing, this product seems to refine the scalp, adding an extra layer of freshness. After use, you can really feel a reduction in scalp odor and oiliness in your daily life.
Cons✓ Inconvenient packaging / Ingredients The packaging is straightforward but inconvenient to use. It's difficult to open the cap with wet, slippery hands, and pouring it directly onto the scalp feels like it's just wetting the hair without reaching the scalp. The amount that spills out wastefully is also considerable. Moreover, fragrance is listed too high in the ingredients list. It's a hair product, and many people might be satisfied with its ability to eliminate scalp odor, but knowing the ingredients, I no longer feel like I'm 'caring' for my scalp with this product, despite its good performance. I think using a hair tonic with better ingredients and more convenient application might be more beneficial.
TipMany people transfer it to a foam container or spray bottle. Choose whichever container suits you best and decant the product for easier use. I use a foam container - I shake it before use, dispense the foam, apply it to my scalp as if shampooing, leave it for a while, then massage and rinse it off.

Reduces oiliness on the scalp.
ConsToo runny, most of it drips away. You can expect to lose more than half of the product.

Personally, I found the Yves Rocher raspberry scent more appealing and longer-lasting. There's a slight cooling effect on the scalp, but it's not intense. Since I usually use shampoos with more oil due to my hair texture, this is great for when my scalp feels congested! It gives a sensation of thoroughly cleansing the scalp, leaving it feeling squeaky clean.
ConsBeing a hair vinegar, it's a runny liquid, which makes it challenging to apply evenly and massage into the scalp. However, the container does allow for some control over the amount dispensed, which helps. Don't expect a dramatic cooling effect or scalp transformation - it's best to think of it as more of a basic scalp cleansing treatment. The biggest drawback is definitely the price tag - it's on the expensive side.

The moringa scent is also lovely.
ConsIt's so watery that I can't use just a little - it all runs down quickly. If I lean forward to spray it on the back of my head and it gets in my eyes, it's awful! Still, I'll probably buy it again when I run out.

That's why I always follow up with conditioner and vinegar rinse! The vinegar doesn't necessarily add moisture, but it does leave my hair feeling more settled and manageable. ✔️ Scalp I expected a cooling sensation on my scalp, but that wasn't the case. However, it seems to help with scalp itchiness and reduces odor at the crown. The vinegar rinse has a water-like consistency, so it didn't irritate my scalp at all! ✔️ Scent It has a subtle herbal scent with a hint of vinegar. After use, I don't notice the scent lingering in my hair. ✔️ How to Use Shake the vinegar rinse well, then apply it directly to your scalp. Gently massage for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
Cons✔️ Price At 11,900 won for 150ml, it's a bit pricey. You might get it cheaper during sales, but because it's a liquid, it's easy to use more than intended and run out quickly. The price point is slightly disappointing. ✔️ Packaging Needs Improvement Both the Yves Rocher shampoo and vinegar rinse have a watery consistency, which makes them prone to spilling and difficult to use. Many people transfer them to different bottles for easier application. I really hope they improve the packaging design.

Initially, I was loyal to the raspberry scent, but curiosity led me to try the moringa version, and I ended up making the switch. The moringa variant, like its raspberry counterpart, has a fresh and sweet aroma. However, it's noticeably more intense, almost to the point of being potent. At first, the strong scent caught me off guard, but after rinsing, I was pleasantly surprised. The fragrance isn't overpowering, and the lingering scent actually lasts longer, which I really appreciate. While the raspberry version does a good job at controlling scalp odor, the moringa formula takes it up a notch. When I use it in the morning, my scalp stays fresh for nearly half the day. I came to write a review on Hwahae and was a bit surprised to find that the ingredients aren't as impressive as I thought. However, considering I've used it for a while without any blemishes on my scalp, I'd say it works well for me.
ConsOne downside is that there's more product waste than I expected. When applying it to the scalp, a significant amount seems to drip off, which feels quite wasteful. Unlike the raspberry version, which left my hair feeling soft, this product tends to make my hair feel a bit stiff. However, I believe this is because it's more effective at cleansing the scalp, which explains why it's better at controlling odor. To balance this out, I've been using it in combination with a hair treatment.
TipHere's a tip: Purchase a sauce bottle or spray bottle from a dollar store and transfer some of the product into it. This method significantly reduces waste. I highly recommend this approach for those who find they're wasting too much product when using it directly from the original bottle.
