Pros
I think it's great that the bad ingredients (humidifier disinfectant ingredients) were removed during the recent renovation, probably last year or the year before. I've tried many different hair treatments, and this one is definitely one of the top 3 for me. My hair becomes more calm and orderly (not in the sense of being completely flat, but more neatly arranged), and it feels incredibly soft. After drying, it's shiny and has a protective layer on the hair. There's not a lot of lather when rinsing, so it's easier to rinse out.
Cons
Aveda products generally tend to have very little fragrance. They're also on the pricier side.
Tip
After shampooing, it's more effective to squeeze out the excess water with a towel before applying the treatment.

I'm feeling more of a sense of healthy hair rather than just soft hair. I've been using it for about 4 months and my hair has definitely become healthier. Aveda products seem to provide dramatic effects with long-term use rather than short-term use.
Cons
The price was burdensome, but since I've seen the effects, I intend to continue purchasing it.
Tip
Instead of rinsing it off right away, I apply it to my hair after shampooing and watch TV for about 30 minutes before rinsing. Doing this seems better than the therapy I get at the salon. Wrapping my head in a hot towel for 30 minutes also seems to have a steaming effect. I highly recommend this product.

Once you use it, you can never go back. The difference before and after using the product is clear! Your hair becomes incredibly soft and smooth.

I've been switching up the shampoos I use, but I've only used this one treatment. Unlike one-time silicone-based treatments that just make your hair feel softer, this treatment makes my hair feel calmer and healthier. Most importantly, it doesn't cause any breakouts on my back, so I really want to keep using it even if it doesn't make my hair dramatically better. When I switched treatments, I immediately started getting breakouts on my back again ㅠㅠ
