Pros
I think it's great that the bad ingredients (humidifier disinfectant ingredients) were removed during the recent renovation, probably last year or the year before. I've tried many different hair treatments, and this one is definitely one of the top 3 for me. My hair becomes more calm and orderly (not in the sense of being completely flat, but more neatly arranged), and it feels incredibly soft. After drying, it's shiny and has a protective layer on the hair. There's not a lot of lather when rinsing, so it's easier to rinse out.
Cons
Aveda products generally tend to have very little fragrance. They're also on the pricier side.
Tip
After shampooing, it's more effective to squeeze out the excess water with a towel before applying the treatment.

Wow, this product is great! So far, Amos and Emu Enriched products have been my top-ranked hair treatments, but this one deserves to be tied for first place. I've been so busy that I couldn't even do a rinse, let alone a treatment... But after coloring my hair, I used this and even though I only left it on for about 5 minutes, my hair felt so soft. It doesn't make my hair thicker, but it smooths the hair surface nicely. The scent is not too strong, just subtle, and the fragrance lasts until the next day, which I like. To be honest, the shampoo and conditioner from the same line didn't impress me much, but as someone with dry hair, I really like this treatment. Even when I'm busy, I think I should use it twice a week. I think hair needs more care than skin because damage shows up so easily if you neglect it. The ends of the hair, which are furthest from the scalp, are bound to get damaged, and no matter how much nourishment you provide, it won't be absorbed properly. That's why hair packs and essences are necessary to continuously replenish the hair. Those blessed with thick, healthy hair may be the exception, but for someone like me with fine, slightly wavy hair, this is the case. This is definitely softer than a regular treatment. Due to frequent dyeing to cover grays, my hair was dry, frizzy, and stressful, but on the days I used this, my hair was calmer and less tangled even without an essence. The dense texture means a little goes a long way, so the effects are great.

I bought it at duty-free while traveling abroad this summer. My hair was in poor condition due to dry hair and frequent bleaching, but it has improved a lot in the past 2 months. This is the best treatment I've used so far! My hair was so damaged from coloring that it was impossible to brush, but after using this, I was able to brush my hair.

When rinsing it out daily, the lasting power is lacking.

Wrap in a shower cap for over an hour!!! Highly recommend 2 times a week.
