To be honest, it's a decent cream that's not bad at all! I have skin prone to blemishes and severe atopy, so usually when I apply any cream, it stings, itches, and worsens my atopy. However, this product has gentle ingredients, so I trusted the Hwahae app and tried it. I'm happy to say I used it without any side effects! The texture isn't thick but rather thin and fluid. After applying, instead of feeling sticky, it leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft... It's a bit of an unusual sensation. When I first applied it, I thought it might be a bit oily and worried about blemishes, but my skin condition didn't worsen. Oh! And I had some scabs from popped pimples, but after applying this generously before bed, maybe because it's so moisturizing...? The scabs came off easily. It was quite surprising! Anyway, it seems really good for scars. I think it would be great to apply generously on nights after popping pimples! All in all, I didn't get any pimples, it's moisturizing, and just gentle and nice, so I think I'll continue using it happily. Oh, and the scent is nice too, it's a bit fresh, similar to lime.
ConsMy skin is extremely dry after washing, but becomes very oily over time. When I first applied this, I felt some deep dryness...? There was some tightness deep in my skin. For those with dry skin, it might be better to apply toner generously first to address the deep dryness before using this. (For me, if I completely address the deep dryness at first, I end up with an oil explosion later, so I prefer products that just provide a light protective layer on my skin, which is why I liked this...)
TipI find that it's best to apply all creams thinly in multiple layers. Of course, with this cream too, applying it thinly about four times was perfect!

I have combination dehydrated skin that occasionally gets one or two blemishes on my chin or cheeks due to my menstrual cycle or overall condition. I started using this product on December 7th and used it with every cleanse, except for two occasions over the past 11 days (once when I used a different cream due to extreme dryness - I'll elaborate on this in the cons section / and once when I used my regular sleeping pack routine). The most impressive aspect was the noticeable improvement in my complexion. I had just squeezed two pimples before using this cream, which left some discoloration. I was able to observe how the discolored areas faded, and after a week of use, they had lightened to the point where I didn't need concealer! Other existing discolored areas also faded, evening out my skin tone enough that I could apply foundation thinly. Usually, I have to layer foundation multiple times and use concealer on heavily discolored areas, but for the past few days, I've been able to apply just one layer of foundation! Even the cica gel I used before (which has quite good reviews on Hwahae) didn't show such results, so I can't praise this cream enough for its effectiveness in this regard. Here are some more positive points, though they're mixed with a few drawbacks: The transparent and lightweight texture makes it easy to apply. It absorbs quickly when you pat small amounts on your forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin for about 10 seconds. This is both a pro and a con for me. The pro is that it absorbs to a matte finish, eliminating oiliness and completely resolving deep dryness! As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I usually get shiny after a while no matter what foundation I use, but this product prevented that entirely. Even with an oily foundation, my skin stayed matte, and when I used oil blotting paper, there was much less oil! Surprisingly, my face wasn't oily at all even after waking up. I usually wake up with very oily skin, but since using this cream, my skin has been matte in the morning and all day long. I've touched my face multiple times in disbelief - it's the first time in my 28 years that my face doesn't feel oily to the touch! However, the intense oil control became a drawback - I'll elaborate on this in the cons section. Personally, when choosing a cream, I prioritize one that feels like it's deeply nourishing my skin, and this cream does exactly that! The downside, oddly enough, is that the outer layer of skin feels dry. I'll explain this further in the cons section. Summary: Improvement of discolored areas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Resolving deep dryness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Oil control ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ConsWhile this product is primarily a 'skin soothing improvement cream' and deserves endless praise for that purpose as mentioned above, there are a few minor drawbacks I'd like to carefully point out. Surface dryness - As mentioned earlier, it perfectly resolves deep dryness. However, strangely, the surface of the skin feels dry... It's definitely matte to the touch with no oiliness, but the facial skin feels slightly dry. This is a peculiar sensation, and I'm not sure if you'll understand, but to explain: while the deeper layers of skin don't feel dry and feel firm, the surface feels dry and initially even tight, requiring me to apply multiple layers of cream. Even after 4 days, I couldn't get used to this feeling, so I applied my previous heavier cream once before returning to this product. It took several more days to get accustomed to the feeling, and now I only apply one layer. It's difficult to expect a moisturizing effect from this product alone. No oil - Perhaps due to the low oil content, I felt the product was matte but dry, which led me to change my foundation midway. I was temporarily using a matte foundation as my previous cream made oil-based foundations feel heavy, but with this cream, my skin became so oil-free that using a matte foundation made my skin too dry, emphasizing pores and wrinkles. Switching back to an oil-based foundation seemed to work better. Comparing skin appearance, my previous heavy cream + matte foundation gave a more glowing look, while this cica cream + moisturizing foundation results in a clean and matte appearance. I received more compliments about healthy-looking skin with the former, so I might avoid using this during the dry winter months. Quantity - Due to the dry feeling, I used quite a lot and went through half the product in about 10 days. Considering it's not a department store brand, the quantity is slightly disappointing. Because of this strange surface dryness, I think I'll only use this product in late spring, summer, and early fall. Its extreme oil and moisture balancing effect, which makes even my combination dehydrated skin feel dry, might be too much for winter use. I imagine it would be even more challenging for those with dry skin.
TipIt might be best to use this cream for deep hydration and add an additional oil or cream for surface moisture. Even for combination dehydrated skin, there's a noticeable dryness, so this product will likely be much more useful in summer.

On the day I received this product and started using it, I had quite a few blemishes on my left cheek. After using this product for a few days, they started to calm down significantly. Of course, skin naturally has its own healing ability, and the effects of my consistent 7-skin method and modeling mask routine probably contributed too. But I believe this product itself played a role in the improvement! The absorption is also good, and it didn't cause any irritation or pimples. It felt incredibly gentle on my skin! I could use it during the day without any pilling under makeup. The texture of the product reminded me a lot of the B* moisturizer or Cli* moisturizer from before. Of course, this one is much gentler!
ConsThe downside is that it lacks enough hydration for winter use. I have extremely dry skin, so during dry winters like now, my face feels tight and about to crack just 20 seconds after washing. Because of this, when I used this cream alone, my skin felt drier as time passed. I even tried applying it twice based on some reviews, but it didn't make much difference. For nighttime use, I ended up layering a more moisturizing cream on top of this product.
TipIt definitely seems to have a calming effect, so if you're layering creams, I recommend applying this one first and then topping it with a more hydrating cream. This creates a barrier that seems to work better!
