It feels like they're using premium ingredients to justify the high price tag! Texture: Compared to other thick cica creams, this one has a light gel consistency that doesn't feel heavy even on my oily skin. It's not sticky and applies smoothly. Scent: Like its color, the scent is refreshing and pleasant, making me feel good every time I apply it. Effectiveness: Most importantly, its soothing effect is truly remarkable. As someone with atopic and acne-prone skin, whenever I get blemishes, applying this cream makes them subside incredibly fast. It's simply amazing!
ConsThe only downside is the small quantity for its high price.
TipHowever, since a little goes a long way and it's so effective, I usually use other creams for daily use and only apply a small amount of this cream occasionally when I need extra soothing.

As someone with acne-prone skin, I personally appreciate that it doesn't cause any irritation.
ConsWhile it didn't cause any blemishes for me, I think those with more sensitive skin than mine might find it challenging to use. The price is also on the higher side compared to other moisturizers, which is a bit disappointing. However, most people will likely experience positive effects.

It has a mild herbal scent reminiscent of mint, which isn't overpowering and makes for comfortable use. ✅ A gentle cream free from harsh additives, suitable even for sensitive skin. My skin usually reacts immediately with itching and burning sensations if there are ingredients that don't agree with extremely sensitive skin, but I experienced no such reactions. ✅ Absorbs quickly without leaving an oily residue or causing hair to stick. Used as a moisturizer, it provided better hydration than expected and didn't leave a sticky finish. ✅ The initial hydration feels good, but it dissipates rather quickly. It's great as a calming cream, but since the skin might dry out, I recommend applying a small amount (about 2 spatula scoops) twice before bed, followed by a separate cream (like Physiogel) to lock in moisture. This resulted in noticeably smoother and more hydrated skin the next morning. ✅ Used consistently for about a week without any skin irritation, increase in blemishes, or small pimples. While it didn't provide dramatic skin improvement immediately, it did a pretty good job of soothing the skin.
Cons❌ If I were to purchase this product instead of receiving it for free, I'd say the price is quite high for the amount you get. The brand isn't well-known either, which could make it a bit daunting for first-time buyers. ❌ Don't expect high levels of hydration as it's primarily a soothing cream. ❌ You might be disappointed if you're looking for instant skin improvement. It's best used on days when your skin feels sensitive or to calm redness.
TipWorks well when used in combination with Physiogel cream. I apply it after toner/essence, followed by a small amount of Physiogel for added benefits.

On the day I received this product and started using it, I had quite a few blemishes on my left cheek. After using this product for a few days, they started to calm down significantly. Of course, skin naturally has its own healing ability, and the effects of my consistent 7-skin method and modeling mask routine probably contributed too. But I believe this product itself played a role in the improvement! The absorption is also good, and it didn't cause any irritation or pimples. It felt incredibly gentle on my skin! I could use it during the day without any pilling under makeup. The texture of the product reminded me a lot of the B* moisturizer or Cli* moisturizer from before. Of course, this one is much gentler!
ConsThe downside is that it lacks enough hydration for winter use. I have extremely dry skin, so during dry winters like now, my face feels tight and about to crack just 20 seconds after washing. Because of this, when I used this cream alone, my skin felt drier as time passed. I even tried applying it twice based on some reviews, but it didn't make much difference. For nighttime use, I ended up layering a more moisturizing cream on top of this product.
TipIt definitely seems to have a calming effect, so if you're layering creams, I recommend applying this one first and then topping it with a more hydrating cream. This creates a barrier that seems to work better!

Texture: It's closer to a gel-type hydrating cream rather than typical cica creams. It spreads incredibly well and feels extremely soft on the skin, like a sorbet texture, possibly due to the placenta ingredient. After application, it leaves a slightly powdery yet moisturized feeling, similar to a makeup primer. No stickiness at all - it's fantastic! Scent: It has the familiar cica scent with a hint of herbal fragrance added. I quite like it. Effects: Despite my sensitive skin, I've used it for 10 days without any adverse reactions. My skin condition hasn't worsened from its original state! What I love most is that my acne scars seem to have faded. I'll need to use up the whole jar to truly judge its effectiveness on scars. Also, I usually wake up with very dry skin as if it's absorbed all the moisturizer overnight, but this cream has reduced that effect. In conclusion, it's great for brightening and hydration!
ConsFirst issue is the necessity of a spatula! It's a bit inconvenient, to be honest. After the first use, I applied it with my hands, which was much easier. A spatula might be more suitable if the product was thicker. The second point is the price. While it's effective, the cost is a bit burdensome...
TipI recommend using it at night as I noticed some pilling when applied in the morning under makeup!

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsI was lucky enough to be selected as a Hwahae Tester and have been using this product consistently. I'll give you my honest, objective opinion. Quick summary: Incredible ingredients, refreshing texture, and a holy grail for combating deep dryness. 1. Texture, application, and absorption: It has a light, watery consistency that feels refreshing. It's an incredibly hydrating moisturizer that also feels nourishing. Those with oily, combination dehydrated skin, or even dry skin in summer could use this alone. There's a slight cooling effect when applied, though not intense. Absorption is remarkably fast - even with a generous amount, it's fully absorbed in 5-10 minutes. 2. Ingredients: The ingredient list is stellar. It's packed with premium ingredients like bio-placenta and Centella Asiatica extract, with no harmful additives. As someone with extremely sensitive, eczema-prone skin who usually reacts to most skincare products including sunscreens, toners, and emulsions, I experienced zero irritation. It's truly impressive. 3. Scent: The fragrance wasn't unpleasant. In fact, it was barely noticeable with just a hint of freshness. 4. Packaging: It comes with a spatula for hygienic application. 5. Effectiveness: This is my holy grail. It's been amazing for me. I have a compromised skin barrier, extremely dry and eczema-prone skin, and have struggled even with medical treatments. While jojoba oil and Physiogel helped significantly, they're oil-based and didn't provide that hydrated feeling. This product, when used in conjunction, solved my deep dryness issues completely. It's incredible. However, using this alone might not be enough for very dry skin. I recommend applying an oil-based product on top for best results. I guarantee its effectiveness. Please check the before and after photos I've attached. I tried to maintain the same angle and lighting. Can you see the improvement in skin texture and complexion after just a few days of use? The photos don't do it justice - I'm not exaggerating when I say the results are outstanding!
Cons1. Price and small quantity: I used it generously without realizing and went through it quickly. Note that you only need a small amount for it to be effective. The price is a bit steep for me. Although it's a holy grail product I discovered through the Hwahae Testers program and I'll likely repurchase, the cost is a concern. However, I understand the price reflects the high-quality ingredients. 2. Potential dryness when used alone: It might feel a bit tight if used on its own, especially for those with dry skin. As mentioned earlier, applying an oil-based product on top of this works wonders!
TipThis review might be particularly helpful for those with sensitive skin who experience redness and irritation from most skincare products, as well as those with extremely dry or dry skin types. Here's my recommended routine: 1. Apply the Natural Derma Cica Bio Placenta Cream to clean skin. (You can also apply it to damp skin right after cleansing for added hydration.) 2. Follow with a mixture of 5 drops of Desert Essence Pure Jojoba Oil and a pea-sized amount of Physiogel. (If you don't have extremely dry skin, you might want to use less of this combination.) 3. Enjoy plump, bouncy skin that's deeply hydrated with no signs of dryness inside or out!

I thought a cica cream would have a thick or heavy texture, but I was surprised to find it had a gel-like consistency when I opened it. I prefer lighter products with good hydration over overly oily ones, so this really appealed to me. It even comes with a spatula, which seems much more hygienic. The application feels incredibly moisturizing. It's like applying water to your face - so hydrating and it absorbs really well. There's a ton of hydration. After applying, my skin feels bouncy when I touch it. However, the residue left on my hands feels a bit sticky, which I'm not a fan of. Usually, I apply minimal skincare before makeup to prevent pilling, but this product doesn't pill even under makeup and provides great hydration, which I'm really happy about. My previous cica cream would pill slightly after absorption, even when applied over toner and serum. I was worried this might do the same, but there's no pilling at all, even when I rub my skin! I had some small blemishes, and while I'm not sure if it's due to time or the cica cream, they've mostly cleared up! I'd say it's probably thanks to this product!
ConsIn this season, many people might find it a bit drying. Even though I tend to have oily skin, I think for now it needs to be used with a heavier cream. Also, I didn't notice any significant improvement in larger, more visible blemishes...
TipFor winter, since the texture is light, I apply it right after toner, then follow with serum or essence and a nourishing cream. This really boosts the hydration and moisturization! I'm also applying it a bit more generously on areas with small blemishes or acne, letting it absorb well!

The gel texture applies smoothly without any stickiness, leaving a refreshing feel. Its instant hydration is excellent. Being a gel, it doesn't feel oily at all, which means it doesn't trigger those pesky little blemishes. I couldn't be more satisfied!
ConsIt might feel a bit dry if used alone during winter. It's slightly disappointing that you need to apply another cream on top to finish your routine, but I think it would be perfect for summer use.
TipIt's great when used generously as a hydrating mask in the evening. It doesn't cause any blemishes, and aside from the somewhat steep price, it's a lightweight product that I'm very satisfied with for boosting hydration.

It glides on smoothly and feels refreshingly hydrating, which is quite pleasant. I thought I needed to apply it generously, so I used a spatula to scoop out quite a bit. When I did that, it took over 10 minutes to absorb. But when I applied a moderate amount, it absorbed into my skin quickly, within about 3-5 minutes. It doesn't feel sticky or tacky at all. Since I won the Hwahae Testers opportunity (and out of laziness), I decided to use only this product. I applied it twice a day - once in the morning and once before bed. After application, I noticed it helped calm my redness, which was great. I tend to get flushed when I'm too hot or too cold. When I woke up, my skin felt moisturized and soft, which was also nice. I have small bumps (like tiny blemishes that aren't visible unless you touch them) on the outer part of my cheeks extending to my jawline. While I'm not sure if they've completely disappeared, they definitely haven't gotten worse! And I didn't develop any new blemishes elsewhere.
ConsI had high hopes for its blemish-soothing effects, but maybe because I've only been using it for a few days, the small bumps on the outer part of my cheeks haven't disappeared yet. Still, I'm satisfied that no new blemishes have appeared! However, the price is 41,000 won...! It might be best to buy it when it's on sale.
TipI'm not particularly diligent with my skincare routine, so I'm not sure about the best practices. However, I think applying this product (or any skincare product) before getting a good night's sleep would be beneficial for your skin. Perhaps the ultimate tip is just getting quality sleep!
