It's so hydrating! I've been using it for about a week now, and my skin feels much calmer. It's somewhere between moisturizing and sticky... I don't think I could apply it before makeup. However, it's great for slathering on generously before bed! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 8, 2021
My butterfly zone used to be extremely dry, red, and flaky no matter what I applied, but after using this, my skin has returned to normal! I'm so relieved. Even when I took medication for my skin, the effects were temporary, and my skin was so dry that I developed hyperpigmentation. But from the day I started using this cream, I gradually saw my natural skin tone coming back. This is truly a life-changing cream! Because the texture is quite thin, you end up using a lot of product, and it's quite expensive. You'll go through it quickly. - ye******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2021
My honest review after purchasing with my own money: First off, I have combination dehydrated skin, and this is the first soothing cream-like texture that doesn't leave my skin feeling dry! Usually, when I apply a rich cream, it pills or clogs my pores during makeup application, but with this one, I experienced none of that. Instead, my skin had a beautiful glow, and my makeup applied flawlessly - I was over the moon! It's as if the moisture doesn't evaporate but rather helps the skin retain hydration. Also, my skin tends to act up during seasonal changes, so lately, I've been applying aloe vera gel (Aromatica) and placenta cream before bed. Not only did this cream prevent potential blemishes, but it also reduced dead skin cells and made my skin incredibly soft. Wow, I just love it so much. I've switched to this after using another cream for two years, and it's become my holy grail. I wish everyone in the world could use this! Oh, and it even comes with a spatula, which is a nice bonus. There are no downsides. Absolutely none. While it's a bit pricey, I'm willing to accept that for the sake of my skin. Using this cream is a real pro tip! If you feel your skin needs soothing, definitely give this a try. (Of course, even though it has great ingredients, everyone's skin is different, so make sure to check the ingredient list!!!) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 9, 2020
The absorption and application were both excellent. I applied it generously before bed, and when I woke up, my skin felt smooth and supple. It's absolutely amazing! It seems suitable for all skin types due to its balanced moisture and rich texture. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 15, 2020
I received a sample and I'm using it. The texture is quite thin and it feels moisturizing. It's just a nice, easy-to-use cream. The scent isn't overpowering either, just a subtle, natural fragrance of the cream itself. It's quite oily, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin.... - sb******Combination SkinRecommendedJul 19, 2020
I got this as a sample and only used it for a few days, but I had to come write a review because it's so amazing! My skin isn't particularly sensitive or prone to blemishes, but it does react badly to heat. It quickly turns red, and even when I apply moisturizer or hydrating gel to cool it down, it takes a while to calm. However, this product is absolutely fantastic for soothing! I've tried a few affordable cica creams, but this one takes the crown for calming effects. I didn't even refrigerate it, just applied it as is, and my flushed cheeks quickly subsided. My face feels so much more comfortable! After trying this, I really wanted to buy the full-size product, but when I checked... The price is quite steep. I wanted to use it all summer, but it's too expensive for me right now. However, it's not outrageously priced, so it might be a great option for those who can afford it! - kd*****Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2020
Ingredients: Instead of purified water, it uses bio-water with placenta-like ingredients and Centella Asiatica extract as main components, which seems to indicate excellent quality ingredients. It feels like they're using premium ingredients to justify the high price tag! Texture: Compared to other thick cica creams, this one has a light gel consistency that doesn't feel heavy even on my oily skin. It's not sticky and applies smoothly. Scent: Like its color, the scent is refreshing and pleasant, making me feel good every time I apply it. Effectiveness: Most importantly, its soothing effect is truly remarkable. As someone with atopic and acne-prone skin, whenever I get blemishes, applying this cream makes them subside incredibly fast. It's simply amazing! The only downside is the small quantity for its high price. However, since a little goes a long way and it's so effective, I usually use other creams for daily use and only apply a small amount of this cream occasionally when I need extra soothing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJan 20, 2020
Of all the cica creams I've tried, many felt heavy and uncomfortable to apply. But this one is different - it's so lightweight, which I love! With consistent use, I feel like it's really helping to soothe my skin. I don't have any major complaints, but since I tend to use a lot of cream, I find myself going through it pretty quickly. It's a bit of a bummer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 31, 2019
It absorbs smoothly, giving a comfortable feeling. As someone with acne-prone skin, I personally appreciate that it doesn't cause any irritation. While it didn't cause any blemishes for me, I think those with more sensitive skin than mine might find it challenging to use. The price is also on the higher side compared to other moisturizers, which is a bit disappointing. However, most people will likely experience positive effects. - lh*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 27, 2019
My skin is oily, sensitive, prone to atopic dermatitis, and has large pores. It's also dehydrated, so after cleansing, my face gets incredibly flaky. That's why I bought the Cica Bio Placenta Cream for soothing and hydrating effects. After using it for over a week, I can definitely say it has a calming effect. I applied it consistently after popping pimples, and after a week, the redness was noticeably reduced. It seems you need to use it for at least a week to see results. After applying the cream, my skin texture became smoother, and it felt more hydrated. I noticed that small bumps and sebum-related blemishes started to disappear gradually. I apply more at night than during the day. If you use too much, it can feel like it's sitting on top of the skin, so I pat it in thoroughly to help it absorb. The cream spreads easily. Some reviews mention it forms a film, and I can definitely feel that - it seems to create a protective barrier on the skin. After application, my skin doesn't feel greasy, just soft and comfortable. That's why I like it. A month ago, I over-exfoliated and my skin was really irritated, but with consistent use of this cream, the redness has subsided and my skin texture has improved. I plan to repurchase! If you apply too much, it can pill a bit like dead skin. You need to be careful with the amount you use. Also, it's a bit pricey for the quantity you get. It seems that skincare always requires consistent use. You might think it's not working at first, but I recommend using it for at least a week to see results.
