Hourglass is known for their excellent primers, and they have quite a variety. I've been using the Veil Mineral Primer, and it's definitely a repurchase! While I don't use it daily, I bought the travel size and it's perfect. Just a tiny amount helps my makeup last longer and smooths out the texture of my cheeks (which have huge pores), as well as the fine lines around my forehead, mouth, and eyes. Unlike silicone primers that clog my pores and cause blemishes, this one is incredibly lightweight. It feels like you're applying a thin layer of mineral powder! It adheres to the skin with a blurring, silky effect, maintaining a velvety, luxurious finish that's perfectly matte. I avoid applying it on my nose where oil tends to make makeup clump, but I focus on my forehead, cheeks, around the mouth, and under-eye area. It even subtly brightens the complexion by about half a shade! This is an absolute must-have for weddings!
Cons
While it's great overall, I noticed some cracking and deep dryness when I was in a very dry environment for a long time. Avoid powder at all costs in dry places! Also, if your skincare is too heavy or oily, it can cause pilling and won't give that silky finish. For best results, use a moisturizing base that leaves the skin surface feeling fresh.
Tip
To really see this primer's magic, apply small amounts and gently press it into your pores using a spatula for a smooth finish. The particles are so fine that if you apply it carelessly or unevenly, it might not penetrate the pores and could actually make them more noticeable. Make sure to use a spatula or your fingers to evenly spread and press it into the skin for the best results!

Hwahae is always a concern for me due to uneven pores, so I've tried all sorts of primers, but this is truly the top product. I thought that if this makes my skin a bit better, how much better could it get, but this product shattered my expectations like Cuckoo. Definitely, when I apply this and then the cushion, the skin expression itself is different. It's not thick, but it's amazing how thin yet it covers the uneven pores and pores so naturally and beautifully. And the longevity is also surprisingly good - there's no lifting or sliding. Highly recommended!!
Cons
There is none ใ ใ While I have a highly personal wish for the price to be a bit more affordable, considering the product quality, I become quiet..
Tip
A small amount is more than sufficient! Apply it gently with your fingertips, and never apply it too thickly! A small amount is the key!

Blurring is really the best. The moment you apply it, your skin becomes as soft as if you've applied powder, and it's really great.
Cons
The radiant foundation cushion doesn't really suit me. I'd recommend a matte foundation instead.

In the summer, I become an oil-prone person, and when I use a primer, I get acne or it gets cakey, so I didn't use it. But this summer was so hot, and after applying makeup, my pores became very prominent due to excess oil, and the makeup got cakey, so I bought this. It's not a thick, creamy primer, but more of a runny, lotion-like texture. Surprisingly, it really helps the makeup last longer! Even though I have large pores and acne scars, the makeup applies beautifully, and my skin looks much nicer. A little goes a long way, and if you use too much, it can get clumpy and make the makeup look patchy. I recommend starting with about 1/3 of a pump on each cheek and nose, and gently spreading it out without rubbing too much. Start with a small amount and find the right amount for your skin. I traveled a lot and was very active outdoors, so I sweated a lot, but my face didn't get as oily and messy. Even though I sweated, the makeup still looked nice and didn't break down. I don't wear makeup every day, but I've used this for up to 3 days in a row, and it didn't cause any breakouts. However, make sure to cleanse thoroughly to unclog the pores. For people like me who use a small amount and don't wear it daily, I recommend getting the travel size. The full-size can be expensive, and it might go bad before you finish it.
Cons
The price is too expensive! I buy it when I'm at the duty-free shop.
Tip
When wearing makeup in the summer, it's easy to get excessively oily, so even if the makeup product is great, you should always apply it thinly and sparingly to look your best. In that regard, I recommend using a brush over a spatula and puff.

The skin expression is expressed very smoothly. It is certainly good as it is expensive.
Cons
For oily skin types, it is fine for a few hours after use, but after that, the pores become visible again.
Tip
When I use this product, I apply it after applying BB cream, and then finish with a concealer. When I use it that way, the skin expression seems to become smoother.

Skin type: Dehydrated oily, acne-prone, acne scarring and enlarged pores concentrated on the forehead and cheeks, with excessive sebum in the T-zone. There is a slight redness and flushing on the cheeks, and I tend to have a high body temperature. The formula is white and watery, and it applies smoothly and softly. I did not experience any pilling, and while the pores were not dramatically covered, the coverage was satisfactory enough. Comparing before and after application, the side with the product has better oil control, and the difference becomes more noticeable over time.
Cons
The only downside is that the price is a bit burdensome.
Tip
The before photo in the image was taken after applying sunscreen. I saw this product on YouTube and was swayed, but I'm satisfied with my purchase as it's my own money.

The product helps increase makeup longevity... If you want to reduce excessive oiliness or creasing in certain facial areas, especially around the forehead, you should use it!! I don't apply it all over my face these days as my skin has been quite dry, but I use it only on my nose and forehead area to boost the staying power. Even a small amount, about the size of a bean, works wonders - it's a great deal! I really like it.
Cons
The downside? None, really. The small size is a bit pricey, but since you only need a tiny amount, it should last a long time. Using it all over the face might only be suitable for very oily skin types... Not recommended for dry skin.
Tip
You should apply it and lightly dab it with a sponge to ensure even coverage.

I'm a person with large pores (with acne scars) and I think I'll use this well in the fall and winter. As I got into my 30s, my butterfly zone pores got bigger and I got more fine lines, so after a lot of thought, I bought this. !! The satisfaction is the highest !! First, the texture is a thin, spreadable liquid formula, and even a small amount is enough to cover one side of the face. Haha I was worried it might be too thin and just sit on top, but when I applied it, it didn't feel like there was an air layer and it adhered smoothly. Rather, as it adhered, it also helped control the dryness. !!!! Lately, my skin has been getting very dry, so I was debating between this and a moisture primer, but I'm glad I chose this. ๐๐๐ There's a moderate oiliness, but it doesn't feel at all on the skin's surface and it finishes powdery soft and silky. In this kind of weather, it doesn't feel stuffy at all, and it's easy to apply without any special techniques. !! It pairs perfectly with the Armani Fabric Foundation. To be honest, when you first apply it, you're not sure what's good about it or if it's effective. ๐ But after setting the makeup and waiting an hour or two, your face looks incredibly beautiful. ๐๐๐๐๐๐ It really looks so smooth. ๐ซถ๐ป๐ซถ๐ป It's clearly not going to fill in acne scars or large pores, but aside from a few spots like that, the rest of my skin looks so smooth. It's really amazing. ๐๐๐๐ As I've gotten older, I understand why primers are necessary. Now, a more natural and soft skin expression that suits my age looks prettier than an overly dewy look.
Cons
It's quite expensive, huh? ๐ข But even though it's pricey, you can use a small amount and it lasts a long time! The large pores or holes don't get covered up. Rather than having a clear function like that, it gives an overall canvas-like effect, densely filling in the skin texture, fine pores, and fine lines. The true value of this product is proven over time. !! I'll definitely get it when it's on sale!
Tip
Normally, I used the Clio primer all over the T-zone area, and the Benefit primer on the larger pores. But now I just use this one and leave the larger pores as is. Since my skin just looks better, I don't feel the need to cover them up anymore. Controlling the amount is essential though. Because it's a runny formula, make sure to shake it well to mix it properly, and then dispense it directly onto your face. That makes it much easier to apply. Just a small amount, like one pump per side of the face. For long outdoor activities, I apply it in this order: skincare, sunscreen, mineral primer, then foundation. The true value of this product becomes more apparent over time. When you use it, you may not notice much, but when you don't use it, the longevity and pore coverage decrease. !!In short, this is the best primer I've found for achieving an incredibly beautiful skin finish.

Among primers, the best Pore cover plus makeup lasting power is the strongest Even after wearing makeup for more than 12 hours, there is no crumbling at all, it maintains the look of just having applied the makeup
Cons
It can feel a bit dry and powdery when applied

This is a very famous product, so I had high expectations. I have dry skin with a few small pores (not large) and some reddish blemishes on my cheeks. When I apply it, it feels moisturizing at first, and then it becomes silky and powdery over time. The finish is quite nice.
Cons
I usually use a dewy foundation since I have dry skin. But this primer didn't seem to work well with the foundation I use. It's hard to explain, but let's just say it works better with a more matte foundation. With the dewy one, the primer kind of shows through. The matte foundation lasts longer and looks great, but over time it can emphasize dryness and make my foundation crack along the lines on my face. This product might be better suited for oily skin types.
Tip
Avoid dewy foundations, focus on building a good skincare routine
