ConsAfter trying this product based on the positive reviews on YouTube, I'm really regretting it. I'm not sure what's wrong, but it seems cakey on my face. It's too matte and drying, and the makeup just doesn't sit well. I applied it thickly, but it feels too heavy. I definitely don't want to use this again.

Since opinions were divided, I was curious about what product it was. I was going to buy it, and then I found out it was during the Missha sale, so I bought it and tried it. First of all, the shade is exactly #23! It didn't come out too bright, so it matched me, the classic #23, well. It has good staying power, and the skin expression looks better over time. There was also little transfer.
ConsFirst of all... I don't recommend it to those who are expecting moisturizing. It's rather close to semi-matte. It was more matte than the most recent Missha cushion I bought, the Missha Signature Essence Cushion Watering. I'm not sure why it's called 'Glow Tension'..haha I liked the semi-matte finish, but since the product name is 'Glow', those who purchase this product will likely be drawn to the 'glow' aspect. The glow is not much, and even if there is some glow, it doesn't last long. If you don't have a solid skincare routine, you may feel some dryness inside. I also didn't particularly feel the coverage was good. But since some people prefer lower coverage, this isn't necessarily a downside, I just noted it as a downside for those who consider coverage important. It's not a thick-applying product, but the more you layer it, the thicker the coverage becomes.
TipIn summary, it's not great for those looking for a moisturizing product or high coverage, but it's okay for those who like a semi-matte finish even in the winter. And when I bought this product, the store staff recommended using it with a 'skin balm?' product, but I didn't buy that. I didn't really feel the need to. Anyway, I usually remove excess oil with a primer before applying base, so...! Since they say the two products work well together, it might be worth testing and considering for those with dry skin.

The adhesion was good, so there was no pore accentuation, and it didn't get patchy either. It didn't get patchy even when I did touch-up makeup. I liked that there was no special scent, and I liked the built-in puff. It has a bit of thickness and density, you could say... The 'dabbing' feeling was also good.
ConsFor me, who usually uses shade 21, it was a bit dark, and my mom, who uses shade 23, also said it was a bit dark, so the color seems to come out too dark. The adhesion is good, but it's a bit matte... The more you layer it, the thicker the makeup feels. The most important thing is the issue of trouble, and while it provided a certain level of coverage for my acne-prone and sensitive skin, small pimples came up after 3-4 days of use, and when I stopped using it for about a week, they went away again.. I already have sensitive skin, but this foundation doesn't seem to suit me either. I gave it to my mom, and she also doesn't use it often because she feels the skin expression becomes too thick.
TipI think it would be good for those who want a coverage-rich and semi-matte cushion, but I don't recommend it for those with trouble-prone or sensitive skin. I don't have the intention to purchase it.

With my dry and sensitive skin, it gives me a glowing complexion without any breakouts. However, the longevity is not great, it's quite oily, and you need to be careful with the application amount. The included puff is also not great. If I'm heavy-handed in the morning, it can easily look cakey. By lunchtime, my forehead becomes shiny and my original skin tone shows through. If I have bangs, they can get greasy as well. Despite these drawbacks, I keep using it because the skin finish is so beautiful. There's minimal emphasis on flakiness and pores, so it doesn't look dirty even when I touch up my makeup. And it's very gentle on my super sensitive skin - not a single blemish. While the included puff isn't great (it seems to absorb too much moisture), I found that using the 'Missha Tension Pact Puff (adhesive type)' works much better for me. I recommend trying a separate puff! -------------------- [Hwahae Trial Reviewer Feedback] * Unedited before and after photos for reference 1. Glow I thought it would have a more radiant, dewy glow, but the subtle luminosity is actually quite pretty, making the skin look beautifully lit from within. The glow becomes more pronounced over time. Not recommended for those seeking an intense 'wet' look. 2. Pores and Texture As shown in the unedited photo, pores and uneven texture are minimized right after application. It doesn't emphasize pores or cake up, so my skin still looks clean at the end of the day without touch-ups. 3. Packaging The pink/rose gold packaging is lovely and fits the 'glow' concept well. 4. Shade It's a bit lighter than the typical 23 shade, which is perfect for my 22 skin tone. The color correction is also quite nice. 5. Breakouts After a week of use, I haven't experienced any breakouts, and my sensitive skin hasn't felt irritated or itchy, which is great.
Cons1. Longevity By the afternoon, the beautiful finish has faded... My natural skin tone is shining through. The longevity is a bit disappointing. 2. Puff The puff feels like a powder puff. It has a stiff, dense texture, so it leaves a powdery, matte-like finish when applied to the skin. Personally, I prefer a more seamless, buffed-in application. 3. Hydration Despite the 'glow' claim, it lacks enough hydration for my dry skin. It actually has more of a semi-matte finish. Applying it thickly can make it even more matte. 4. Coverage If applied thinly, it barely covers blemishes... As you can see in the photo, the spot on my cheek is not concealed at all. Those concerned about imperfections will need to use a separate concealer.
TipYou should apply it by picking up just a small amount at a time to get a sheer, luminous finish. If you apply too much, it can become more matte. For covering blemishes, you'll definitely need to use a separate concealer.

I was worried that the 'Glow' name might mean it would be too shiny or transfer a lot, but it actually has a nice, powdery finish. The adhesion is not bad either, and most importantly, it doesn't emphasize my pores. The longevity is also decent. I'm satisfied with the value for the price.
ConsThe radiant glow is lacking, and it's closer to a semi-matte finish rather than a true glow cushion. I have dry skin and I really build up a solid base, so this finish works for me, but those looking for a more hydrated look might be disappointed.
TipIf you apply too much, it can get cakey. After picking up product with the puff, rub it on the lid or other areas to adjust the amount, then apply it - this helps with adhesion and application.
