I have absolutely zero intention of repurchasing this. It really didn't suit me at all. The only positive I can think of is that the packaging is pretty and shiny? First off, the scent is truly awful - it has that artificial cosmetic smell. It also pills terribly and causes significant darkening. It's like it emphasizes every bit of texture on your face. It also makes me look ashy. I'm not sure if it's just me, but when I apply it to my face, it turns ashy and looks dull, and with the darkening on top of that - wow! After using this, I started getting blemishes one by one. I'll never use it again. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 22, 2018
I've thoroughly checked and prepared everything! To provide a proper review, I deleted my previous one and am posting this new, comprehensive review. First, the coverage was medium. It effectively concealed redness around the nose and almost perfectly covered minor blemishes. However, it didn't work well on dark circles. Those with severe skin issues might need to pair it with a good concealer for full coverage. Given its coverage, it applies quite thickly, so it might not be ideal if you're going for a natural look. (Like me) The texture was surprisingly matte for a product called 'Glow'. Even when used with a skin balm, it only gives an intense shine initially, settling into a semi-matte finish after about an hour. Despite this, it didn't cause any uncomfortable dryness on my very dry skin. I personally prefer a glow-to-semi-matte skin finish, so I wasn't disappointed. The longevity was unexpectedly good! My nose area tends to break down easily, causing issues even with my holy grail Luna foundation. But with Glow Tension, that wasn't a problem. Overall, it held up well even after I had been sweating. I'd rate its staying power as medium-high to high. It gives that smooth 'egg-shell skin' finish. My skin isn't particularly smooth, but this made it look really good. As mentioned earlier, it's closer to semi-matte than glowy, so it looks more like makeup-enhanced skin rather than naturally radiant skin. Transfer was initially bad when it was at its glowiest, which frustrated me. But as it settled and became more matte, transfer reduced significantly and it didn't smudge as much. Just be careful during the initial glowy phase. Many people say the color is light, but it matched my skin perfectly. I'm usually shade 23 but prefer a brighter look, so I chose Sand based on reviews. It turned out quite natural. There was minimal breakdown and only slight darkening, which worked well for me. There's an overwhelmingly strong, artificial chemical scent that's hard to even call a fragrance. While it's slightly better than the Skin Balm, it's still a deal-breaker for those sensitive to smells or with high standards in this area. This aspect alone eliminated any chance of me repurchasing. Update 180929!! +) Surprisingly, the scent fades over time. I applied it while complaining, but by the time I got home, it was nearly unscented. If you can tolerate the initial smell, it becomes fine! It's like a complete transformation. Also, the included puff leaves noticeable marks. I'm not very skilled with this type of puff yet, but it leaves obvious streaks when applying foundation in delicate areas like under the eyes. I had to use a regular wedge puff afterwards to blend out the marks. It's quite inconvenient, especially since it's not even a brush. Make sure to test the scent in-store! If you want a bit more hydration, try patting it with a damp puff. Here's to making wise purchases!
