First off, the ingredients are gentle! It seems to be great for sensitive skin with no irritation. While it's fragrance-free, there's a subtle petroleum-like scent that's not pleasant. The hydration level isn't high. Oddly, the smell makes it feel like it might be greasy, but it's not actually oily. It's frustratingly ambiguous - it feels like a cream that lacks both moisture and oil. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 1, 2024
As someone with combination skin, I've tried famous creams before, but they were too oily and actually caused more blemishes. The Lab by Blanc Doux Calming Cream, however, is perfect. It's so light on oil that even those with oily skin can use it, and its hydrating power is incredible. While the hydration and low oil content are great, and everything else is good too, the absorption could be a bit better. But I'm satisfied because this is somewhat unavoidable with oil-free cream formulations. If I apply serum and then slather on this cream generously at night, my skin condition the next day is absolutely flying high! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 22, 2024
Rather than having any huge standout features, this product seems to be gentle and easy to use for everyday skincare! Even with my super sensitive skin, I've been using it without any blemishes popping up. It feels more like a rich cream than a hydrating one, so I found the absorption to be slightly disappointing. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2023
This cream had excellent moisturizing properties. While it provided good hydration, it also felt quite rich in terms of oil content. It's perfect as a final step in your nighttime routine - after thoroughly hydrating your skin with other products, apply this cream to lock in moisture overnight. For someone like me with oily but dehydrated skin, it felt a bit too rich. The texture wasn't great either - rather than absorbing well, it seemed to create a film on my skin, sitting on top rather than sinking in. I'm not sure if it's because the high oil content slowed absorption, or if it just didn't play well with the hydrating products I applied beforehand... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinNov 14, 2022
The cream absorbed well after application. However, it didn't seem to provide much hydration. Compared to other creams, this one felt more rich than hydrating, which I didn't particularly like. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2022
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I think I've found a really great product! My skin used to get super dry, but when I applied cream, it would make my face look like an oil slick. I hated using creams because of that. But this one has a unique texture, and I feel like it's actually helping to build up my skin's moisture barrier. For me personally, it seems to leave a bit more of a rich feeling on my skin than I'd like. Also, I'd say it focuses more on hydration rather than soothing effects. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 18, 2022
I tried a sample, loved it, and now I'm already on my second jar! After cleansing, I apply toner, serum, and then slather on this cream. It leaves no tightness, and even in winter, my skin doesn't feel dry. I've been using it consistently! The gentle ingredients seem to agree with my skin - no tingling or blemishes. Highly recommended! The rich feel might be a bit lacking for those who want more oil in their skincare. However, the pros still outweigh the cons with this cream! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 6, 2022
The opaque white cream has a consistency that's not too thin, resembling a rich moisturizer, but if I had to categorize it, it feels more like a hydrating cream. It lacks hydration, and it's not particularly moisturizing either, making it awkward to use. It's like it can't decide whether it wants to be a hydrating cream or a rich moisturizer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 11, 2021
As someone with oily skin, I appreciated that it wasn't too rich. It really helps control excess oil. It lacks a bit in terms of hydration and richness, so it doesn't give that moisturized feeling. I'd recommend this to those with oily skin who are looking for a product that isn't too rich. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAug 23, 2021
As someone with dry skin, I usually need to apply multiple creams. But with this one, I only need to use an ampoule and this cream to avoid feeling dry. It seems to really help with deep dehydration. The finish isn't exactly sticky, but it does feel a bit heavy. There's a slight waxy sensation, which isn't typical for a regular cream. It's not overly rich, but has a slightly heavy, matte feel to it.
