I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive. I've been using The Lab by Blanc Doux's newly renovated toner with great results, so I decided to try this cream. However, it's a bit of a mixed bag. - It doesn't cause any blemishes - It doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy - As it absorbs into the skin, the surface feels dry. This dryness gradually seeps deeper... - But if I try to apply a second layer, my skin still feels dry and it seems to clog my pores. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 16, 2024
It feels great when you apply it on dry skin - you can really feel the hydration being replenished! Given its creamy texture, it's inevitable that it clogs pores. Apart from that issue with the pores, everything else about it is good. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 5, 2023
- The texture is not too thick and absorbs smoothly. - It's nearly fragrance-free. - It pairs well with most skincare products. - The soothing effect is not very significant. - When applied to the nose area, it feels greasy and heavy, which might not be good for pores. - Not recommended for oily and combination skin types. - It provides decent hydration when applied to dry areas like the neck and collarbone. I've found other cream products that work better for me, so I don't plan to repurchase this one. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 29, 2023
While it didn't suit my skin, this product is gentle and effectively controls oil. I'd recommend it to those with thicker skin and fewer clogged pores. As someone with easily clogged pores, I need to use lighter formulas. This product wasn't suitable for me, so I couldn't continue using it. If you have thin skin with small pores, try applying just a single layer of a lightweight emulsion or cream skin. If you experience blemishes when applying multiple layers or using richer formulas, you might have a skin type similar to mine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinFeb 7, 2023
Packed with hydration. Truly moisturizing. Absorbs quickly. Gentle enough to prevent blemishes. Lacks sufficient hydration for dry skin. Absorbs fast but doesn't form a barrier, allowing oil to surface from pores. Works well when used with other creams. Would repurchase. Likely better for summer use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 26, 2022
It's fantastic for deep dryness and absorbs well. I'm planning to buy it again. I've been keeping an eye on The Lab brand and looking at their other products. I'll be ordering this one after I finish using it. The only slight drawback might be that the texture isn't very runny? But honestly, there's not much to complain about. As I have combination dehydrated skin, I'm just a bit worried about clogged pores. To prevent clogged pores, I deliberately use a mineral water mist spray while applying this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 7, 2022
It absorbs quickly and applies smoothly. I love how it doesn't feel sticky and leaves my skin with a soft, matte finish. Even though it doesn't contain pore-clogging ingredients, I noticed a few small blemishes appearing after use. I've been using the ampoule successfully, so I tried the cream too, but unfortunately, the cream doesn't seem to agree with my skin. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMar 31, 2022
The ingredients are gentle on the skin. There are no obvious drawbacks, and it seems to be a product that I've used without any issues. It feels quite thick and gives the impression of clogging pores. This is purely based on sensation, so I'm not sure if it actually clogs them, but that's the impression it gives. Lastly, the price isn't particularly budget-friendly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 10, 2022
I'm using this as a winter night cream for my combination dehydrated skin and it's working well. I love that it's fragrance-free. If I apply a bit too much, I get small bumps on my skin. I noticed it contains shea butter, which might be clogging my pores. For those with oily combination dehydrated skin, use sparingly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2021
I used a mini version I received as a gratis with another purchase. It's hydrating and has decent moisture retention. It absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling greasy, leaving a fresh finish. I liked that it wasn't sticky or oily. The tube packaging is hygienic and convenient! I'm not sure if it's due to the dimethicone, various oils, or moisturizing ingredients, but my skin feels slightly suffocated. It's as if my pores are getting clogged. I didn't particularly notice any soothing effects.
