ConsIt's expensive. The product seems to have a bit of oiliness and is quite thick, so there may be mixed reactions to it.
TipThis product is extremely rich and creamy, so it's best to apply it in the evening before bedtime rather than in the morning. This way, it's more comfortable to use and the effects are likely to be more beneficial.

It has the color and texture of an ointment.
ConsTo be honest, it felt too sticky and greasy, so I didn't use it a few times.. I wonder if such a thick and heavy cream is really good for acne-prone skin... but since everyone else seems to like it, I'm just envious.

The ingredients are also kind, and when I used other madecassoside or centella-based cosmetics before, my skin seemed to improve a bit, but I always had one or two inflammatory acne that popped up. When I looked up the ingredients after learning about Hwahae, it seemed that those products contained pore-clogging ingredients or shea butter that didn't suit my skin, which is why I always had acne. However, this product is simple and only contains centella ingredients, which I found much better. The texture is slightly oily ointment-like, a bit sticky and tacky at first, but it absorbs well. Using this centella ampoule together, it seems to be calming my skin well. This past winter, I had a hard time finding the right cream for my dry face, and I wish I had known about this cream sooner.
ConsFirst of all, the price is a bit disappointing, but I purchased it through a group buy for around 32,000 or 35,000 won. At this price, it's still usable, but if not on sale, it would be a bit too much of my own money to spend. Also, the tackiness and greasiness are a bit disappointing... For a while, the oil(?) that hadn't been coming up for a long time started coming up, which I think may be due to this product or the change in season. However, I was okay with this oil coming up, as my skin was drying up and dying during the winter.

I used it for about two days, but it didn't seem to work well. In fact, it seemed to make my skin more red, so I just left it aside. But about a month ago, my skin got really bad - I had milia, dryness, inflammation, and intense itchiness, and I was even considering taking prescription medication. But then I just didn't feel like trying anything else, and I thought it was a lost cause, so I gave this product another try. For the first two days, it seemed to make things even worse, but from the third day, I started seeing improvements. The redness significantly calmed down, and the milia started going away. It's not like 100% of my issues were resolved, and I still get the occasional breakout, but I'm really satisfied with how it helped soothe my skin. I thought the centella ingredient wouldn't work for me, but this product was actually quite good.
ConsThe only downside is that it's only available online. For oily skin types, it might be a bit too rich. It seems to be a highly concentrated cream, and when applied, it has a bit of a balm-like (vaseline-like) feel to it. But for my dry skin, it was perfect. The price is a bit on the higher side, though.
TipI think using this product along with an ampoule would be even better. Apply a thin layer and gently pat it into the skin when your skin is slightly damp.

The good thing is that it's in a tube form, so adjusting the amount was easy.
ConsFirst of all, my skin is combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry V-zone, and occasionally I get a pimple or two on my chin or nose area. But while using this cream, pimples really popped up on my nose and chin again. The pimples on the sides of my nose hadn't appeared for a long time, so I wonder if it's because of this cream. At first, it seemed like it had good moisture, but the more I used it, the more I felt an oily film on the surface and a tightness. Even though I apply a lot of toner, that didn't help. The tightness didn't go away even if I applied more cream, so I think it's a lack of moisture rather than excess oil. Before using this cream, I used the Kiehl's Ultra Moisturizer Cream, and I can definitely feel a difference in moisture. With Kiehl's, I didn't feel any dryness even 24 hours later. Kiehl's has a thinner texture, so it was easy to apply generously, but this cream has a slightly thicker texture, so I couldn't apply it as generously. At first, I thought I applied it too thinly, so I applied it twice, but the amount didn't seem to be the issue. And when I apply foundation on top of this cream, it cakes up badly, so I can't use it in the morning. Some people said it worked well with their foundation, so I guess it just doesn't work with my Guerlain foundation.

My skin is so sensitive that even a change in water is immediately noticeable, and I have to take preventative medication before traveling, which still doesn't prevent my skin from flipping out. I have atopic dermatitis, so I have severe internal dryness, but the T-zone is oily. My skin is so good that the dermatologist said I don't even need exfoliation, and that's about all I can say about it. Now, let's get to the real review. 👉🏻👉🏻 1. Long-lasting Hydration: In the winter, my skin would get dry after skincare, and I'd have to apply more before bed, but this product doesn't do that. It maintains the moisture until bedtime. 2. Lightweight: Personally, I don't like heavy products that feel weighty on the face, and this applies lightly and nicely. 3. Refined Skin Texture: I started using this during a time when my skin was rough and bumpy due to hormonal changes, and I noticed a visible improvement in my skin texture. My skin tone also seemed brighter. 4. Balanced Oil: It feels like a light moisturizer when applied, but then leaves a healthy glow and oil balance on the face, unlike a typical moisturizer.
Cons1. Outrageous Price: The price is too high. I checked, and it's 43,000 won, which is a lot considering the small amount. Honestly, if I hadn't won it in a giveaway, as an unknown brand, I probably wouldn't have tried it due to the steep price. 2. Sticky: The oil content builds up, so while it applies lightly, it can feel sticky later on, which some people may dislike. 3. Scent... : It seems unscented, but unscented products still have a certain smell, right? Well, this one had an extremely strong 'unscented' smell, almost like an old cosmetic product. I actually wished it had a added fragrance instead.
TipNormally, I use different creams for morning and night, but this time I tried it in the evening. Personally, I think it works better when applied during the day before makeup. I'd recommend using it in the daytime rather than just before bed.

It's been a total disaster. Texture: The texture was like a soft, moisturizing cream. As someone with sensitive skin that's prone to breakouts, I usually have to be really careful about what I put on my face, but this felt really gentle. In fact, my skin actually seemed to improve a bit. It felt like it was replenishing the moisture in my rough, flaky skin. Application: At first, when I tested it on the back of my hand, the texture seemed a bit thick, almost like an ointment. But when I actually applied it, it went on so smoothly and softly, without any irritation to my skin.
ConsAbsorption: The absorption into my skin was a bit slow, which was a bit disappointing. I really dislike any oily or greasy feeling, and while this wasn't super greasy, it did leave a bit of a film on my skin that I wasn't crazy about. But it did still provide a good amount of moisture.

First of all, I applied this cream very thickly before going to bed, and it kept my skin moisturized until the next day. And since I have oily skin and don't usually apply basic skincare products, my skin became rough and dull, but after using this, my makeup didn't flake off the next morning! And when I touch my skin the day after using it, it feels so smooth and supple.
ConsThe downside is that it felt a bit more oily than I expected. And it definitely doesn't have a lightweight feel. Since I tend to have some blemishes, I didn't really see much of a blemish-care effect.
TipIf you apply it thickly like a sleeping pack before bed, your skin will be so moisturized and smooth the next day. Also, just squeeze out a small amount and spread it thinly all over your face before makeup, and your makeup will apply much better!

First, my skin type is: oily T-zone, especially dry and flaky in the winter, and I've had severe closed comedones before, so I'm quite sensitive to skincare products! 1. Texture: The texture is like an ointment, with a slightly thick and dense feel, but I was able to apply it to my entire face with just a small amount. 2. Fragrance: The fragrance is similar to that of an ointment, and I didn't find it particularly bothersome or overwhelming. 3. Spreadability: Although the thick texture made me think it might feel heavy or sticky, it actually spread well on my skin and had a suitable oily feel. 4. Absorption: While I could still feel some oiliness, it didn't feel overly sticky or greasy and absorbed reasonably well. 5. Effectiveness: During the dry winter season, especially around my lips and chin, I've been struggling with severe dryness and have tried various products. I found this to be very effective in terms of hydration! My peeling skin has definitely decreased, and I noticed less tightness in the mornings. 6. Ingredients: I'm really pleased that it doesn't contain any harmful ingredients.
Cons1. Price: I think the price is the most disappointing aspect of this product. It might be a bit burdensome for students to afford. 2. Oiliness: While the oily feel was suitable for my skin, it might be too much for those with very oily skin types.

There are no harmful substances, and it contains centella extract and panthenol which are good for acne, so I liked that. 💚 Texture, Fragrance At first, when I squeezed it out, it looked like an ointment and I thought it might be thick, but it spread very smoothly and softly on the skin. The fragrance is just like an ointment, but unless you specifically smell the fragrance left on your hands, you won't really notice it, as it's not very strong. 💚 Hydration, Moisturization As someone with dry skin, I felt this cream has a 40:60 ratio of hydration to necessary oils. When applied, the hydration is absorbed very quickly, and about 30% of the oils evaporate or get absorbed, leaving the remaining 30% to moisturize. It feels a bit lacking in winter's cold winds, but might be too much for summer. 💚 Soothing I had high hopes for the soothing effects due to the centella extract, but there wasn't any dramatic soothing. However, it didn't make my acne worse either. When I used it on the reddened areas after grooming my eyebrows, the quick absorption seemed to help it calm down quickly, but I don't think it can be expected to soothe troubled skin.
Cons💚 It's a bit ambiguous whether it's a moisturizing cream or a hydrating cream. 💚 The soothing effect is not definite, just a subtle feeling that it doesn't make acne worse. 💚 I think it might be a bit burdensome for oily-skinned people to use. I was a bit surprised at first to see the remaining oils.
TipIt's good to apply other hydrating toners or essences like a sheet mask, and then layer this cream on top. You can also apply a small amount to trouble spots or dry areas.
