First and foremost, the best thing about using this product is that it is gentle. The ingredients are also kind, and when I used other madecassoside or centella-based cosmetics before, my skin seemed to improve a bit, but I always had one or two inflammatory acne that popped up. When I looked up the ingredients after learning about Hwahae, it seemed that those products contained pore-clogging ingredients or shea butter that didn't suit my skin, which is why I always had acne. However, this product is simple and only contains centella ingredients, which I found much better. The texture is slightly oily ointment-like, a bit sticky and tacky at first, but it absorbs well. At first, I bought it because I heard so many good things about it on SNS. I used it for about two days, but it didn't seem to work well. In fact, it seemed to make my skin more red, so I just left it aside. But about a month ago, my skin got really bad - I had milia, dryness, inflammation, and intense itchiness, and I was even considering taking prescription medication. But then I just didn't feel like trying anything else, and I thought it was a lost cause, so I gave this product another try. For the first two days, it seemed to make things even worse, but from the third day, I started seeing improvements. The redness significantly calmed down, and the milia started going away. It's not like 100% of my issues were resolved, and I still get the occasional breakout, but I'm really satisfied with how it helped soothe my skin. I thought the centella ingredient wouldn't work for me, but this product was actually quite good.

The only downside is that it's only available online. For oily skin types, it might be a bit too rich. First of all, my skin is combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry V-zone, and occasionally I get a pimple or two on my chin or nose area. But while using this cream, pimples really popped up on my nose and chin again. The pimples on the sides of my nose hadn't appeared for a long time, so I wonder if it's because of this cream. At first, it seemed like it had good moisture, but the more I used it, the more I felt an oily film on the surface and a tightness. Even though I apply a lot of toner, that didn't help. The tightness didn't go away even if I applied more cream, so I think it's a lack of moisture rather than excess oil. Before using this cream, I used the Kiehl's Ultra Moisturizer Cream, and I can definitely feel a difference in moisture. With Kiehl's, I didn't feel any dryness even 24 hours later. I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and used this cream for a week. First of all, I applied this cream very thickly before going to bed, and it kept my skin moisturized until the next day. And since I have oily skin and don't usually apply basic skincare products, my skin became rough and dull, but after using this, my makeup didn't flake off the next morning!
