  I have combination dehydrated skin with whiteheads and tiny bumps. I applied this over my moisturizer before bed. It feels hydrating and does a great job calming redness. It's a bit rich, though.

  I usually break out in tiny bumps with any sleeping mask, but this one was surprisingly gentle even on my super sensitive days. I used it on a day when my skin barrier was compromised and my complexion was all blotchy, looking like it was about to freak out. After a short while, it calmed down quickly. It was great for reducing redness, soothing my skin, and preventing it from flaring up.

  Cons

  The sticky feeling lingers for a while. It's gone by the next morning, but I noticed a slight itching sensation on my cheeks. I stopped using the product because I was worried it might be causing this reaction.

  Tip

  Applying it too thickly can clog pores and potentially cause blemishes, so I used a thin layer and still found it gently effective. I think this would work well for most skin types, except perhaps for those with extremely sensitive, dry skin.

  The hydration is excellent and it absorbs well. I can't say much else about it.

  Cons

  I only used it at night for three days, and suddenly my face became itchy and red. Even after washing it off, it's still itchy. Those with super sensitive skin should take note. I don't usually write reviews, but this was quite severe, so I felt compelled to share.

  The ingredients are excellent! You can feel how gentle it is when applying.

  Cons

  I have combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, and I occasionally use shea butter as it seems to soothe my skin. However, after using this product for 10 consecutive days, I noticed some small bumps appearing. So today, I washed it off and went back to my Kiehl's Ultra Cream, which usually works well for me. I'll come back later to update whether these bumps were indeed caused by this product.

  If shea butter doesn't agree with your skin, try alternating it with other products instead of using it daily.
