However, it applies smoothly without any irritation.
Cons1. It has a sticky, slippery, oily feel, so I can't apply too much. 2. I often mix it with other creams before applying.

Other than that, there is nothing else.
ConsThere were many disappointing aspects. Although it was labeled as a sleeping mask pack, I expected a certain amount of oiliness, but it felt really stuffy and slippery. The application was like a nourishing cream texture... And since it's summer, that may have been even more pronounced. I used it to soothe my skin irritation since it contains Centella, but it ended up causing more breakouts instead. I wish the texture had been lighter, but I can't really recommend it.

My acne has also calmed down a bit. I apply it every night, and if I forget to do so, my skin feels a bit dull the next day.
ConsWhile it applies smoothly like a cream, my face feels a bit shiny and oily after application. It's not sticky, but has a slippery, almost greasy feel to it. It's not too severe, but those with very oily skin might find it a bit concerning.

The true value of this product was revealed in the winter! When the skin is dry, it doesn't need to be applied thickly, just a single layer is enough to provide a soothing and protective effect. Of course, the heavy application feel is still there in the winter, but it was better than in the summer. I often just cleansed my face and applied this product or just toner and this product when I was feeling lazy. Also, if I felt my face was too dull before makeup, I would apply this product instead of a cream and then do my makeup. This was the skincare product I used the most this past winter, and I definitely plan to repurchase it. The biggest advantage of this product in my opinion is the visible effects. I could feel the effects after just one use. (For reference, my skin type is currently combination, with the T-zone being oily and the cheeks being closer to dry.) At first, I wondered why a sleeping mask pack in the summer, but since I was interested in this product, I tried it right away and was pleasantly surprised by the noticeable effects. Strangely, my skin texture, which was not exactly bumpy but not great either, became smooth and even after I applied the product for about 2-3 hours before an appointment and did my makeup. I was amazed at how smooth my skin looked. Even after exfoliating or using sheet masks, the small flaky bits on my skin would calm down, and I could feel my skin texture improving. After that, I've applied it for hours during the day multiple times to observe the effects closely, and I can definitely feel the benefits.
ConsSlipperiness is often the slipperiness expected of a sleeping mask. It feels slippery and covered in a film. Inevitably, it must be made to last for a long time. However, because of this, it can feel a bit stuffy on the face in the summer. That's how it was for me. Even when applying a very small amount, it felt much more suffocating than a light, moisturizing cream used in the summer, and even compared to greasy ointment-like creams, it felt even more stuffy. And when I looked it up, there was talk of putting this product in the refrigerator and using it cool, so I scooped some out and put it in the refrigerator to use during the summer. My opinion is that...? As you know, even if you put it in the refrigerator and then apply it, the cooling sensation is only temporary and does not last long at all. And perhaps due to the nature of the sleeping mask formulation, to exaggerate a bit, the cooling sensation disappears as you spread it on. It seems unnecessary to go through the trouble of putting it in the refrigerator, since the soothing effect is good even when applied at room temperature. If you want a cooling effect, it would be better to use a product with ingredients that inherently lower the skin's temperature, like aloe vera gel.
TipHere are a few methods I've found useful for actively using sleeping masks during the day, as I was worried about excess nourishment causing breakouts while sleeping in the summer. (It's not much of a problem to apply them thinly at night, but I found them a bit stuffy for summer, so I tried using them diligently during the day.) - As mentioned earlier, if you have some free time (1-3 hours) before going out, washing your face and applying a mask pack, then lightly water-cleansing or wiping it off can be helpful. - Cleanse your face before showering, then apply a mask pack during the shower. The steam-filled shower environment immediately provides moisture to the face, and using a mask pack at this time allows you to experience nourishment, hydration, and the soothing effects of cica all at once. After the shower, lightly water-cleanse or gently wipe with a watery toner before makeup. - Lastly, a method to soothe and provide a cooling sensation. In summer, it's important to calm the skin, which can become heated due to the hot weather. For this, you can thinly apply the product across your entire face and do a sheet mask, or use cool water-soaked cotton pads for a pack. I just used plain cool water since I didn't want to waste my toner. Overheated skin can become dehydrated and dull, so this method provides both nourishment and hydration while also cooling the temperature. - Ah, and later when the cool breeze comes, it might be good to finish with a thin layer of cream instead of a mask. Since the skin absorbs well, it has better lasting power than regular creams. It should work great when the skin starts flaking due to the cold wind. But it's best to test the compatibility with your foundation beforehand.

I've been using it for about half a year, and it definitely prevents blemishes and the like from coming up. It's a product that makes your face feel comfortable. It seems better than the watery pack in the same line. After washing my face in the morning, a natural glow returns.^^
ConsAfter applying, there's a bit of a slippery feeling. It feels a bit sticky when cleansing.
TipIt's better to use a cleansing foam instead of water cleansing or oil-based cleansing products.

I initially thought the sleeping pack would be a water-based moisturizing cream, but it had more of a sorbet-like texture. It was opaque and dense, but not sticky, and had good spreadability. 2. The product itself is not lightweight, but a small amount is sufficient for the face. I used a 3ml sample for over a week. 3. It felt a bit stuffy and heavy when applied, but when I woke up, my skin felt smooth and supple, and I didn't experience any breakouts.
Cons1. In my opinion, a sleeping pack should be lightweight so that you can apply a generous amount before bed. However, the Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask feels heavy. The instructions recommend layering it two to three times, especially on dry and sensitive days, but as an oily-skinned person, I found that to be too much, regardless of the weather. 2. The oily and slow-absorbing texture makes it feel slippery, causing my hair to stick to it, and leaving a residue on my pillow. 3. The price is a bit...
TipFrom the moment I applied it, I felt a coating of oil, so as an oily-skinned person, I found it to be a bit stuffy, except perhaps in the winter.

I liked that there are no irritating ingredients, and the subtle natural scent was very soothing when applying. As someone with combination skin, I don't prefer heavy, sticky formulas, but this seemed perfect for the changing seasons. It's not too light or too heavy, so I'm very satisfied👍 It's less heavy than the regular Cica cream, so the usage experience was also satisfactory. After using the Cica Sleeping Mask and waking up the next day, my skin felt so soft and comfortable, as if it had rested well overnight. The hydration and soothing effects were clear, and my morning skin condition was great without any tightness. While the Water Sleeping Mask feels like it's deeply absorbing into the skin, the Cica Sleeping Mask forms a protective barrier to provide hydration. I felt so comfortable using it daily without any burden.
ConsRight after applying, it had a slightly slippery, unabsorbed feeling which was a bit disappointing. It seems to take a while to fully absorb. Although I'm satisfied once it's absorbed, the initial slippery, unabsorbed feeling at first application lowers my overall satisfaction with the product.
TipSince I didn't like the slippery feeling, I layered on smaller amounts several times to apply it.

I saw a significant effect on skin recovery! In my early to mid-20s, even after extraction, my skin would calm down in 2-3 days and there were no scars. But now (in my late 20s), it takes a week or even longer to recover from extraction. The slow recovery has led to an increase in scarring... My moisture and oil balance was completely disrupted, and small bumps kept popping up... It was a struggle for my skin. Recently (about 2 weeks ago), a lot of small bumps appeared on my forehead, and my skin was extremely sensitive. As I looked at my skin, which had become honeycomb-like after the extraction, I was lamenting, but then I was selected for the Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask trial and the product arrived soon. I started using it a day or two after the extraction. I only used it at night on the first day. ✍🏻 At first, I felt a bit stuffy when applying it. I was slightly anxious that it might clog my pores. But after using it consistently, no new small bumps appeared!!! 👀 ✍🏻 When applying, it felt slippery, so I was worried that it might be too oily. But again, no breakouts occurred 👀 What's more amazing is that it seems to have restored the moisture and oil balance of my extremely dehydrated skin - the oil my skin produces has significantly decreased, and my skin looks much more refreshed 👀 So I applied it both at night and during the day, after my cream! I mix sunscreen and foundation, and even when I applied the sleeping mask as the last step in the morning and did my makeup, there was no issue at all! In fact, the reduced dryness made my skin feel more comfortable! ✍🏻 Results after 2 weeks of use In fact, I felt the effects in less than a week. Around the 3rd day of use, the extraction area had already mostly calmed down and recovered. My skin texture became smoother (with fewer bumps), and with the balanced moisture and oil, my pores also shrank a bit. My skin tends to get red easily with even a little irritation, and after cleansing, exfoliating, or using cotton pads, After using toner, my skin always becomes sensitive, but with this product, the redness quickly subsided, and the next morning, I could clearly see the recovery. In conclusion, I have a 100% repurchase intention! Once I finish this one, I'll buy it with my own money and use it as both a cream and a mask! I'm so happy to have found a product that works well for me!
ConsI didn't have any particular complaints. As mentioned earlier, when you first apply it to the skin, you may feel it is slippery and stuffy, but once it is absorbed, the greasy and shiny appearance completely disappears. The oil-water balance is just right, so the skin's own oil production actually decreases, and there were no issues with clogged pores or new milia.
TipYou don't necessarily have to use a mask. I was also satisfied with the cream 👌🏻 I use a mineral sunscreen, so I was always uncomfortable due to dryness. However, when I used this product like a cream, it was great. Even after using the mineral sunscreen, my skin would still look shiny and have prominent pores, so I always had to use powder, which made the dryness even worse.. But after using this product, I didn't need to use powder or just lightly dusted it on, and my skin still looked clean enough.
