Hwahae is so incredibly good for calming the skin, and when applied thickly to troubled areas and left overnight, it is completely calming the next day - it's amazing. Even for my sensitive skin, it was great to use. I hope it doesn't get discontinued.

I've been using it for over a year! When my skin was flipped over and it was dry in the winter, I started using it, and I can definitely see it calming down. It feels like it's strengthening my skin barrier when it's been compromised. I have sensitive skin, and using just anything makes it completely flip out, but that hasn't happened with this, so I keep buying it.
Cons

It's lightweight and does a great job at soothing troubled skin. In the past, when I applied it generously on my non-inflammatory acne, it would gradually mature and become squeezable. But after the renewal, that feeling has diminished a bit. It absorbs well, is non-greasy, and has no scent. It seems to work well for sensitive skin as well.
Cons
Using it as a spot treatment makes it last a really long time. But the area I apply it to becomes dry.
Tip
After it's fully absorbed and my skin feels dry, I apply a nourishing cream on top.

I thought the Cicabam would be a thick ointment-like product, but it's actually a bit more fluid than balm, so it was very easy to apply! When my face gets red and sensitive, applying it helps soothe. I didn't experience any breakouts while using it, and I've layered it over retinol products and used it as a moisturizer too - it's very versatile!
Cons
It lacks hydration, so I have to apply a very hydrating product first before using this. And the price... the amount is small but the price is quite high, so I'm not sure if I'll repurchase.
