The lightweight gel-type essence has excellent absorption. After it sinks in, there's no stickiness, leaving the skin feeling light and soft. I loved the fresh herbal scent too. The packaging also looks quite luxurious. While it feels hydrating when first applied, the moisture doesn't seem to last long, which might disappoint those with dry skin. It would be good for light application in summer. The glass container is a bit heavy, which is slightly inconvenient. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJun 10, 2019
As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'd like to share my experience. For context, I have sensitive, dry, and atopic skin. During use, I didn't experience any irritation or adverse reactions after application. The texture is quite fluid. After applying, it didn't feel sticky but rather gave a fresh, matte finish. This makes me think it might be more suitable for summer use rather than winter. I appreciated that the fragrance wasn't overly artificial or irritating. Sometimes, strong artificial scents can cause blemishes for me, but I didn't have that issue with this product. Regarding its effectiveness on wrinkles and other functional aspects, it's difficult to judge after just a week of use. I think I'd need to finish the entire bottle to really tell. I found the dispenser a bit inconvenient to use - perhaps because the vertical opening is quite short? Also, after application, I didn't feel like the hydration penetrated deep into my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 9, 2019
I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers and used this product for about two weeks. First off, I have super sensitive skin, but I'm pleased to report that with consistent use, I didn't experience any blemishes. The texture is quite fluid - it actually runs when you dispense it on the back of your hand. Perhaps because of this, it absorbs well and spreads easily. The scent is reminiscent of Innisfree's green tea line - subtle and pleasant. While I'm not sure about its anti-wrinkle effects yet, I feel like my skin texture has improved. While it absorbs quickly, it doesn't leave much of a residual feeling on the skin. Also, the glass container makes it quite heavy to handle during use. As I have combination dehydrated skin, I find it works best when I apply a couple of layers and finish with a cream. This leaves my skin feeling much more hydrated. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 7, 2019
Here's a review from a Hwahae Tester in her 50s! I'm thrilled to have won this event after downloading the Hwahae app on my daughter's recommendation. Thank you so much! After trying the product, here are my thoughts: Texture: The consistency is slightly runny, which makes it absorb smoothly and feel refreshing on application. It has a somewhat fluid texture, which I find quite pleasant. Despite being described as highly concentrated, it's not sticky at all, which I love. I usually dislike sticky formulas, but this one applies beautifully. Scent: The fragrance is absolutely delightful! It reminds me of flowers, and I love it so much that I keep sniffing my hand even after application. I heard it contains pu-erh tea, and whether that's the source or not, the scent leaves me feeling wonderful. Ingredients: It contains pu-erh tea water, jojoba seed oil, and sage extract. Many reviews mentioned feeling dry after use, but I didn't experience any dryness at all. In fact, it felt much less drying compared to other products I've tried. There's nothing I dislike about this product, and I'm using it so happily that I plan to repurchase when I run out. Initially, I wasn't familiar with the brand and thought the price was high, but considering other brands have similar price points for this type of product, and given how good it feels when applied, I don't think it's unreasonable. I apply it at the essence step in my skincare routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 2, 2019
Hello there! This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! It's my first time as a tester, but I'll do my best to provide a thorough and honest evaluation, living up to the responsibility. And who knows, if I do well, I might aim for the next testing opportunity too! First, let me introduce myself and explain when I'll be using the Purerity Vital Moisture Essence (I'll call it Purerity Essence for short). I'm 15 years old, born in 2005. My skin tone is fair with cool undertones, and I have combination dehydrated skin. My skin age is apparently in the late 20s (based on Hwahae's selfie skin age and tone analysis). My usual skincare and makeup routine includes toner, emulsion, moisturizer, sunscreen, primer, foundation, concealer, eyebrows, eyeshadow, and eyelash curler. In the evening, I typically use toner, two emulsions, moisturizer, and cica cream. Since this essence is a functional cosmetic, I'll be using it only for my nighttime skincare (though honestly, it's so light and leaves just the right amount of hydration that it could work for daytime too). As for the packaging, it's pretty standard. Nothing special to note there. The texture is exactly what you'd expect from an essence. It's more fluid than an emulsion, with a slight viscosity that flows well. When applied after using my toner (3-skin method), this essence feels a bit sticky at first. It makes my cheeks feel plumper and more supple, giving an inner glow. To me, it feels quite rich. It has a natural, herbal scent. The white, gel-like texture is so sticky that I feel like if I went to bed right after applying it, all the dust from my blanket would stick to my face! Regarding effectiveness, I've been using this essence consistently for about a week. Perhaps due to the short time frame, I haven't noticed significant effects yet. I don't have many wrinkles due to my age, but I often apply it to my neck to prevent wrinkles there. Remember, your neck is skin too and needs care! The price of 46,000 won for such a small amount seems a bit steep... While it's nice that it deeply hydrates, it's just too sticky. I recommend using this for nighttime skincare. If you want to use it in the morning, try applying toner (3-skin method), then this essence twice, followed by a rich sunscreen before your makeup. It helps prevent your skin from feeling tight and allows makeup to apply smoothly. Don't forget to apply it to your neck too, since it's a wrinkle-improving product. That's all from me for now. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment! If I get chosen as a tester again, I'll try even harder next time. See you later! (By the way, I apologize for the photo quality. My phone is a Galaxy On7 with a really poor camera, so it doesn't do the product justice!)
