- First off, I'm thrilled to be chosen as a Hwahae Tester! This is my first time winning! I'll do my best to write a thorough review. I'm born in 2004, and my mom and I used this product together for two weeks. (I have dry skin, while my mom has oily skin.) - This product doesn't feel heavy at all! The lightweight texture absorbs well! It's not bad at sinking into the skin either. It has a consistency similar to hand sanitizer - just glides on. Apply it and pat gently, and it absorbs quickly! - I tried layering it in my skincare routine: toner -> emulsion -> this product -> brightening moisturizer. This product leaves a slightly sticky feeling, but when I applied the brightening moisturizer on top, my makeup went on smoothly. - My nose is sensitive, so I avoid products with strong scents. This one has a mild fragrance, so I think I'll be able to use it comfortably. - I have very dry skin, and this product kept my skin hydrated for about 30 minutes, but after that, the moisturizing effect gradually faded. My skin started to feel dry again. That's a bit disappointing. However, my mom with oily skin says it works great for her! - Since I'm young and don't have wrinkles, I can't really tell about its anti-aging effects. But my mom has been using it consistently and says she thinks it's helping with wrinkle improvement! She's considering repurchasing it. => This essence seems better suited for oily skin types like my mom's rather than dry skin like mine. - One downside is that the product container is quite heavy, making it difficult to take on trips. You'd probably need to transfer it to a travel-sized container. - It leaves a sticky feeling after application, so I recommend using it before makeup rather than after cleansing at night. If you apply it before bed, it tends to stick to your pillow and bedding, which can be uncomfortable. Is this normal for essences? It's my first time using one. - It's a bit pricey for the amount you get. While it's reasonably priced compared to other high-end essences, when you consider the quantity, it's on the expensive side. Recommended for oily skin rather than dry skin! Better to use before makeup than after cleansing! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 4, 2019
*****Review from mid-20s with dry skin******* Absorption: First off, the texture is incredibly lightweight! It feels more like a water-gel than an essence. I was expecting a thick essence, but it's surprisingly refreshing and fluid, so it doesn't just sit on top of the skin! Absorption power: I was shocked when I first tested it on the back of my hand. To draw a comparison, it absorbs instantly like hand sanitizer, leaving no stickiness or rich feeling, but instead a quick sense of softness. I think it's because it absorbs so well~ Hydration: It doesn't seem to provide exceptional hydration. The surface and deeper layers of skin are different, so just looking at visible hydration, it does dry out again quickly due to its lightness.. ㅠㅠ Nourishment: Many people apply essences to replenish nutrients, but as I mentioned about hydration above, it dries out quickly. My skin is extremely, extremely dry, so if I don't apply my skincare well, my makeup doesn't sit right 😭 I haven't found my holy grail product yet.. and this one won't be settling into my routine either. Price: It's quite small but costs around 46,000 won? That's really expensive ㅠㅠ This is another reason why I'd hesitate to buy this product at this price. With its light application and good absorption, I think it would be suitable for those with oily or combination dehydrated skin, rather than extremely dry skin like mine. Since it's not rich or sticky, it seems perfect for a quick, simple layer in your skincare routine! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 2, 2019
Hello there! This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! It's my first time as a tester, but I'll do my best to provide a thorough and honest evaluation, living up to the responsibility. And who knows, if I do well, I might aim for the next testing opportunity too! First, let me introduce myself and explain when I'll be using the Purerity Vital Moisture Essence (I'll call it Purerity Essence for short). I'm 15 years old, born in 2005. My skin tone is fair with cool undertones, and I have combination dehydrated skin. My skin age is apparently in the late 20s (based on Hwahae's selfie skin age and tone analysis). My usual skincare and makeup routine includes toner, emulsion, moisturizer, sunscreen, primer, foundation, concealer, eyebrows, eyeshadow, and eyelash curler. In the evening, I typically use toner, two emulsions, moisturizer, and cica cream. Since this essence is a functional cosmetic, I'll be using it only for my nighttime skincare (though honestly, it's so light and leaves just the right amount of hydration that it could work for daytime too). As for the packaging, it's pretty standard. Nothing special to note there. The texture is exactly what you'd expect from an essence. It's more fluid than an emulsion, with a slight viscosity that flows well. When applied after using my toner (3-skin method), this essence feels a bit sticky at first. It makes my cheeks feel plumper and more supple, giving an inner glow. To me, it feels quite rich. It has a natural, herbal scent. The white, gel-like texture is so sticky that I feel like if I went to bed right after applying it, all the dust from my blanket would stick to my face! Regarding effectiveness, I've been using this essence consistently for about a week. Perhaps due to the short time frame, I haven't noticed significant effects yet. I don't have many wrinkles due to my age, but I often apply it to my neck to prevent wrinkles there. Remember, your neck is skin too and needs care! The price of 46,000 won for such a small amount seems a bit steep... While it's nice that it deeply hydrates, it's just too sticky. I recommend using this for nighttime skincare. If you want to use it in the morning, try applying toner (3-skin method), then this essence twice, followed by a rich sunscreen before your makeup. It helps prevent your skin from feeling tight and allows makeup to apply smoothly. Don't forget to apply it to your neck too, since it's a wrinkle-improving product. That's all from me for now. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment! If I get chosen as a tester again, I'll try even harder next time. See you later! (By the way, I apologize for the photo quality. My phone is a Galaxy On7 with a really poor camera, so it doesn't do the product justice!)
